Purchased an Aiper Ni in December 2024. I was disappointed from the start as my pool never seemed clean. Sand was not picked up. In March the battery failed and the unit was replaced. The second machine didn't clean at all and I noticed the sides of the pool were very dirty and sand not collected. I stood and watched the N1 only to find that it… Read more
cleaned the same section of wall over and over and nowhere else. Fortunately Pool and Spa warehouse allowed me to return the N1 and refunded my money. I have gone back to a robotic cleaner.
AIPER Scuba N1 Pro – So far very unhappy with the Scuba N1 Pro. On first use on Auto (wall and floor mode) it only did the walls. On second stint (using Floor mode only) it went in circles continually, rearing-up on the back treads then flopping down in front. No leaves got collected. Subsequent uses on first week (sometimes using twice in the same day after… Read more
recharging) included back-and-forth on the same cross pool route and repeated failure to collect most leaves. In attempting to contact Aiper, the phone number provided on their Website doesn't exist and my email to them detailing the problems was responded to by "Aiper AI"! My complaint about the robot was handled by a robot! The reply ignored and misinterpreted the details in my email and essentially told me to clean the basket and check nothing was caught in the wheels. Far from happy. Does Aiper actually employ real people and do they take customer problems seriously. So far my experience is "no" to these questions.
Waste of money - just stirs up dirt and stops halfway through the clean – I initially purchased the cheaper Aiper and found that all it did was remove leaves and then spread any finer dirt around the pool. I took up the 30 day guarantee - and exchanged it for teh N1 Pro - as it had a nano filter Ultimately this doesn't remove fine particles like dirt and sand. It does an ok job on the leaves Show details
Aiper Unsuitable for Pebblecrete – Pool: 50Kl, 8x4.5m, pebblecrete. I have had the Scuba N1 for a few months. It does a good job picking up dirt and debris from the floor of our pool. It charges quite quickly and manages two or more rounds of the walls and the floor on a single charge. Sadly, it does not sweep the walls thoroughly enough to disturb algae. I purchased it because it… Read more
sweeps AND vacuums. As we know, if you disturb the surface of algae and keep your water in balance, with adequate sanitization, algaesides aren't needed. I'm very disappointed that this machine does not disturb algae like my old vacuums (eg. Barracuda). I now have to sweep my pool regularly as well as run the Aiper. It has not made my pool maintenance life any easier…which was the reason for purchasing it. Aiper have been no help. They just told me to use algaesides. As I am over the 30 day warranty return period, I am stuck with it.
