Works fantastically well. Really good machine.
I have recently bought a house with a concrete pebble pool, kidney-shaped, 11m x 5m, 60k litres, set amongst trees including gum trees and palm trees, so I get LOTS of leaves, seeds, twigs and other detritus in the pool pretty much all year round. I bought the Robo-Tek about four months ago because it had the highest rating on Product Review and seemed to be especially strong at leaf-clearance. The machine has exceeded my expectations in all respects. It has completely transformed my life in caring for the pool. It removes all the leaves in ...about 30 mins or less, which I do on most days. Then about twice per week I do an additional 'deep clean' using the fine filter to climb the walls and steps. I used to take about 45-60 minutes per day clearing the leaves by hand, and now I leave it all to the Robo-Tek after clearing any floating leaves. The pool has never looked better. I agree with other reviewers that it is quite heavy to lift in and out of the pool, and the filter is a little fiddly and awkward to remove, clean and replace. However, it does such a great job that these are minor inconveniences that you quickly get used to. I would rather have a heavy, well-made machine with powerful pumps like this one, than a lightweight machine that does not have the grunt to get the work done. I am delighted with it and recommend it highly. It is one of those few machines that give satisfaction with every use. My personal experience with the supplier/manufacturer is also that this is a company small enough to care about their customers, and this also gives me confidence. Thank you, Robo-Tek.

Love my Robo-plus
Pool always looks immaculate. The power of the pump in this guy really gets the water moving and the bag always picks up the fine stuff. We had a small issue with our Robot occassionally stopping mid cycle, a quick call and the Robo-Tek team had it couriered back to be looked at and returned a week and half later in perfect working order. Nothing but positive from this whole experience and the product itself.

I bought this robot 2 months ago and wanted to use it for a while before writing a review. First it is heavy, but once it goes in the pool that doesn’t matter, it’s fairly easy to lift out and flip over and has a wheeled trolley to put it on which makes putting it away easy.
I don’t think I would use the robot while anyone was swimming in the pool as it moves around quite fast and expels water quite violently from the top.
I only use the 20 micro bag and this has captured both gum leaves and small hairs from a recent haircut, no problem getti...

Great Customer Service
We’ve had the Robo just over a year. In that time we had 2 small separate issues and both were rectified over the phone the same day the issues appeared. Great service.

The Rottweiler of Pool Cleaners
After our other robotic cleaner died, we just recently purchased the Robo-Tek Plus. We have a 10m pool surrounded by gum trees and black wattles, and so pool cleaning with a reliable cleaner is an every-day affair. After much research, the Robo-Tek had everything we required at our price point – ($1890 from Dad’s Pool Shop Maroochydore) importantly including the ability to select between walls and floor or floor only functions. The manufacturer’s 5 day approval offer on the website got me over the line as I was actually concerned about the inc...reased weight, sponge wheels, and bag filter. After opening the box, the unit screamed of commercial quality – the moulding of the body and handles, robustness of the tracks and belts, the cable clip to the body, the decent plug on the floating cable to the control box, – even an RCD installed on the 240v cable to the control box impressive! I quickly discounted my concern of the extra weight, as I realised this unit feels a lot more robust than its competitors and so I was happy to trade-off some extra weight. The 2 generous intakes at the bottom look like they have the ability to suck up a small child. I do wish the lead was a bit longer, as I only measured 14.5m from the clip on the cleaner and I could actually have used that extra 500mm. After I put the unit in the pool, it took off with heaps of power like a scalded cat moving quickly around the pool while also pumping through copious volumes of water. I was impressed! The sponge wheels also seem to do their thing scrubbing the waterline. The unit does a great job with its powerful suction getting the leaves up not leaving anything behind. Now it comes time to clean it out. To remove the bag, you need to flip the unit upside down, and remove the bottom panel by releasing 2 clips. The bag comes out easily, and you turn it inside out and empty it and hose it off. The first time I did this, I thought. “This is going to be a pain doing this all the time.” But the second time was quicker and easier, and the third time didn’t really phase me much at all. I will admit though that it is easier removing a basket from an upright pool cleaner and hosing it out. For the same price point, I could have got a major brand that was lighter, that literally had flashing lights (go figure?), scanning sensors to scan the wall of the pool, and has a basket that you can hose out which makes life a bit easier. The thing with the Robo-Tek is though, it looks like it will survive the apocalypse.

It is not bad, but not perfect
It is good for big debris cleaning. It even can pick up hairs. But every time when I lift it out of the water after vacuuming, some small debris always fall back into the water from the vacuum. It climbs stairs, but does not pick the debris on the stairs well. I have not used any other vacumn, so I can not compare.

Best Pool Robot And Service
Robo-Plus has a clever and simple and strong design that gets the job done better than any other pool cleaner we've owned. Don't waste your time with a suction cleaner connected to your filter. Don't waste your money on the big brand robots. A lot of big leaves and fine dirt end up in our pool, especially after the recent rains, and lots of dog hair too for some reason, and the Robo takes care of all of it with ease. It climbs over all the steps and up the walls all the way to the top. The cable is made of some material that makes it easy to re...move the twists after each clean. The dog loves swimming around after it. Best of all is the after-sales service. When the buttons on the control box stopped working, Robo-Tek arranged for it to be picked up, repaired, and returned all within a week. Fantastic service.

great Machine, better service.
The cleaner does a bloody good job including all the debris from a jacaranda tree. Perhaps the ultimate test for a pool cleaner.
Their service ethic is however outstanding. I have had the need to have it repaired twice,
once for a damaged floating cable, my fault,
second, the control box was damaged in the recent floods.
The way I was treated on both occasions and the sympathy I received when it came to the invoice was a wonderful surprise.
I am not on who writes reviews, but feel compelled to give this show full marks. Well done Robo.

Great product, great experience !!!
I've had a Robo-Plus pool cleaner for about a month and love it! My pool gets lots of leaves from over the back fence and, thanks to QLD's heavy rain, plenty of silt and dirt from the surrounding garden. The Robo-Plus does a fantastic job of cleaning all this rubbish from the pool.
I bought the pool cleaner from Aquatic Nature on the Gold Coast. MIchael delivered and demonstrated it four days after I ordered it - great service. Soon after getting the cleaner I realized I had forgotten to buy a caddy cover, so ordered it one day and received it the next thanks to Steve from Robotech - again great service.

After Sales Service
My Robe Plus cleaner developed a problem with the cable twisting. Caused me some concern until I got to the right people. The staff at Robo-Tek were incredibly helpful, particularly Steve who called me on a number of occasions and was absolutely committed to resolving my issue. Not an easy matter with me in Western Australia. Service that was above and beyond what one would normally expect. Thanks Steve, a pleasure to do business with you. Much appreciated.Highly recommended

Cleaner is AWESOME and customer Support is A+
Got one after seeing high ratings here and after disappointing top of range costly Zodiac cleaner died within 2 years.
It is SO powerful & cleans the water to 20 micron crystal/'sparkling' like you see on tv. No other robot seems to do this.
Leaves are no issue with two HUGE inlet ports and huge debris bag. The company support is WORLD CLASS and A+ with the owner even taking calls after hours since they are passionate about this product. After 4 months use, I am too now I know I have the best cleaner on the market.
Purchased in at Dad's Pool Shop for $1,890.
Product and Service second to none
The robot is extraordinary, cleans like no other that I had used before and when I had a slight issue with a part the customer service was 1st Class. I would highly recommend.

I have owned several pools and many cleaners !!!!!
but never have I received after-sales service of this type and quality.
in round figures previous cleaners have proven impossible to repair because they are made overseas and nobody has any interest in after sales service. Where repairs are available the cost is punitive to the extent that the best fix is to buy a new cleaner. When the one at my farm failed around the same time as the one at my Sydney home I visited Dr. Google to find an alternative and found some great blogs for Robo-Tek. These people are SENSATIONAL. Not only does their prod...

Hands down the best robotic pool cleaner!
We had another brand robotic pool cleaner which after 3 years of constantly changing parts etc just stopped working. Did some research and purchased the Robo-Tek plus, within 30mins it had cleaned the pool to a better standard than we ever got from the previous cleaner. I actually don’t think I’ll ever have to vacuum the pool again. I am so impressed with this product and highly recommend to anyone that has a pool or is looking to get a robotic pool cleaner!

Amazing robot pool cleaner!
After numerous problems and (expensive) repairs to our previous robot cleaner....not to mention pathetic customer service....the latest 'pump failure' error was the final straw. Some online research lead me to Robo-Tek and i am so glad it did!
A phone call to Robo-Tek in Melbourne (that was actually answered without being placed on hold!?), a lovely Sales Assistant directed me to the closest re-seller to me in Sydney. Good (and in Robo's case - outstanding) customer service goes a very long way, especially in what is not an insignificant $$$ p...urchase. Purchased our new Robo-Plus last Thursday. First impressions were how well presented and constructed the machine is. Easy to read/follow instructions and 10min later, i had it in the pool with the daunting task of cleaning the mess after a week of no cleaning, combined with the torrential rain and winds (and large overhanging gum trees).... This thing not only picked up every last bit of debris, it completely cleaned away some stubborn algae spots and after finishing it's cycle, the bag had 'grime' in it that our previous cleaner's basket NEVER contained. Our 12m x 4m pool has never looked so clean! Yes, the bag is a bit more difficult to clean than a basket but more than worth the extra few minutes it takes, to know that the pool is being cleaned properly. Our pool has remained spotless since that first run 4 days ago, whereas i would be running our previous robot every 1-2 days. FWIW....our previous robot was a Zodiac VX55....the Robo-Plus leaves it for dead.

Questions & Answers
Has anyone had issues with the twisting of the cable? I know offer robotic cleaners offer a swivel which eliminates the twists.
After exploring the depths of our pool for 2 hours, yes there is some Twisting By The Pool ♫ Robot of the cable,
however this doesn't impede the robot's movement around the pool. The motors have enou...
Thank you Bob. Much appreciated.
And Thanks Bob for your input. Bob is correct in his advice... Best practice is to remove the cable from the control box after each use, and wind it up as Bob suggests... If you feel...that the cable is twisted significantly after just one clean, please let us know as there will be a reason for this....Could be as simple as the impeller cover is not fitted or broken...or the filter bag needs to be put through the washing machine for a thorough clean. If this doesn't sort out the issue, then we would get the robot back to our Melbourne office and tweak the program to sort it out. Either way, it is nothing that we would not be able to resolve. Thank you for your interest in the Robo-Range. If you have any other questions, please give us a call 03 9357 5662 Steve and the team at Robo-Tek
does this robot-tek robot-plus clean the walls above the pool
As discussed on the phone the Robo-Tek range will clean the water line.... the gap between the water line and the coping tiles usually remains dry, and clean, hence really doesn't need clea...ning. You mentioned you were interested in a low/non chlorine solutions for your pool, and I can confirm your pool builder is across all the options available. So please give him a call if you need to discuss further.
Can you please confirm what is the return policy of customer is not satisfied with the purchase? How many days to return for full refund? Wanted to know just in case . Thank you
Hi Prashant... We want to know immediately if a customer is unhappy with our robot. 5 days use is usually more than sufficient time to see what the robot is capable of. If it doesn't meet there expe...ctations, the first thing is to contact us, to see what the issue is. If we cannot resolve it, then we would work with the shop you purchased it from to work out an appropriate solution. Steve
