the robot always turns the same way so tangles the power cord quickly, the amount of suction is a little poor and generates a cloud of fine dirt as it goes. For the cost of this cleaner I expected more.

At best random – Have had the X6 for nearly 2 years. My expectations are fairly high and that is in light of the fact it is set at a premium price,,, and unfortunately it falls short. use, Level of possible clean is excellent ( If you are finding the basket says its full but dosent look is, probably due to the efficiency of the micro filter becoming clogged, you may need to clean more often - Has great turn over of water through filter but will fill fast if a lot of fine sediment) - Looks good - Storage rack and trolley workes well. CONS: Like other users i find regardless of where I start it will spend 50% time recleaning the same 20% of spots, totally misses 20% (especially walls). To me it seems to have zero awareness of what it is doing. Its defualt appears to be do something for 2min then randomly do something else for 2min etc etc. That may mean for the full 2 min it will bang into the same wall end of a step without going anywhwere, or it may actually finally get up a wall after trying for 1.50min to clean, only to then turn around and clean a bit is has already done 10 times! It has real troubles staying on walls even with all pool ports turned off (X6 using jets rather than floats), I have only ever got it once to return up the wall for collection (think when the filter is full it loses jet power to climb). Id expect for the price and that fact it is cabled it would be able to map a pool and even alert if it was unable to clean spot. However instead it truly seems to use a very basic random program to best guess another direction to go in. It seems to have no ability to understand if it moving or not. I havent tried but think it would happily sit in my bath cleaning it for 2.5 hrs and feel its done an excellent job of cleaning a 60000l pool. I have 3 simple long bench steps, manages to get up one, but does it right at the end and then proceeds to band against that wall before throwing itself back down. Never gets on the other steps despite being fully submerged and never travel's along the length of the step. SUMMARY: Great filter capabilities, good app, good design, jet system to climb walls is 2nd best to float system and software used to map its travels is at best results in a random clean, but more often than not results in a comical fascination with with 2-4 spots in the pool. Personally would go more medium priced cleaner with micro filter and float wall climbing system.

WOW! How good! – It’s out first pool and everyone said how much time it takes to clean a pool! Well not with this bad boy, it does all the hard work for you. Can’t be happier with our purchase! We have a lot of dirt around our pool area due a renovation and the dolphin makes it sparkling clean every time. there are two types of insert for the basket really helps with the fine dust. Now my filter and chlorinator can get on with their job unhindered. Great product.

Great pool cleaner. Will save me heaps of time – 11m x 4.5m 60,000l pool. Before and after pics. 2 full cycles one day, 1 cycle the next , all on ultra fine filters and the pool is sparkling. Best pool cleaner.....but really flawed – I’ve perhaps written here before. And you know what, I still love this cleaner. Best money spent. BUT! I find it fundamentally flawed. The power cable is ridiculous. I don’t understand how something this expensive has a cord like this. It’s constantly linked and twisted. I was told to leave it in sun. Didn’t do anything. Worked fine for many years – My Dolphin X20 came with a house I purchased and even though it was an old machine it still worked fine. ho pick up a little sand that made its way into the pool from between the pavers. I liked how the basket filters were able to be taken out of the of the basket for easy cleaning. I didn’t really like the filter basket handle design as the spring up handle sometimes got stuck when trying to close the lid. That was until the handle got brittle and the hinge snapped. The price of spare parts are reasonable compared to some other brands.

All in all it is good pool cleaner for its time and I am happy with it.

Too expensive, poor performer – We have a 1.3m to 2.3m depth over 9 metres pebblecrete pool. The pool collects flowers from native trees and numerous leaves from nearby bush and gardens. stir up the water. The unit also gets struck on the drain cover on the bottom of the pool, requiring it to be removed repeatedly. The electric cord just twists constantly, which reduces the area it will cover. For $2500 I could have just had the pool man turn up 10 times a season.

Garbage – When the cleaner works it’s does an excellent job. Don’t expect any help out of warranty, motor failed from water getting inside via a failed seal. don’t bother because, you have to send it to an overpriced “repair shop” for them to replace the same parts you can do in 5min but charge a premium for the pleasure.

The x30 is not worth buyinh – I have previously outlined the limitations of the x30 - never cleans all the floor; seldom climbs the wall; hardly-ever scrubs the water line; debris falls out when removing from pool. part. The attachment points (two) are maybe 30mm each. Imagine the weight born by these two points when just carrying the thing empty, let alone when full of water as it is being removed from pool. That part splits/cracks. Then try using it. Have tried repair with glue and fibreglass. And carrying it like a baby, not by the handle. But I imagine it will break right off soon. Then I can just dump it in the bin, and good riddance. Very poor engineering design. It looks like the latest one has a handle which is part of the exterior body - Not sure. Just don't buy the x30. In closing, I have had three of these things over the years (various brands) and all have have disappointed or failed. I feel the industry struggles to produce a reliable product. Happy Daze.

E 10 and S 50 based on my analysis so, if you are considering E10, then I would rethink. Even though my E 10 failed right at the beginning I have nothing against it as these manufacturer faults happen.

Cleans well however… – Does the most important thing well and cleans the whole pool spotlessly including the waterline and has been doing so for 6 months. So far so good at 1year 3 months – Compared to cleaning by hand this thing is good, not perfect but good. Forget the steps, you have to brush them yourself which won't take long. You need both filters to get a good clean, you can buy the fine filter online, it fits inside the standard one. else is good. Will update when I have had it for 2 1/2 years as lots of people seem to say they start to die then. I only use it when there is less chlorine in the pool to prevent damage and clean my robot every time I use it by dipping it in a large plastic storage container full of tap water 125L (from reject shop). This will remove any leaf debris from the internals and any chlorine left.

I am handy and there are videos online about how to repair these machines, new tracks etc. I use it every 2 weeks and if big winds every week, sometimes needs 2 cycles (2 hours each) because they are not that smart and miss spots.

Store indoors and keep out of the sun. Set the electric cord going into the pool in the center of the pool when in operation then it won't tangle, mine never ever has.

After 20 years of suction cleaning now my pool is perfect! – I have heavy leaf and dust drop from overhanging trees. Previous suction cleaners and manual vacuuming were ineffective and laborious. Now in two hours per day my pool is kept clear of debris apart from some sticks which I can easily scoop up. The pool has never looked so good and cleaning never been so easy. Barely functional, regularly breaks down, no smart integration – I've had this robot for about two years now. registered that with Maytronics, so according to Maytronics I never bought extended warranty.

When I originally purchased this unit, I was promised that it would integrate with my smart home platform. There is no such integration. Further to this, the unit regularly disconnects from the wireless and needs to be restarted. I know Maytronics will blame the signal strength, but I know the signal is good and other wireless devices in the same area do not have connectivity issues.

The robot regularly breaks down and I have to disassemble it to remove usually a couple of hairs and a leaf from the impeller. I don't understand why the filter basket doesn't capture this, but obviously it doesn't catch everything.

And, the unit tangles up its cord all the time. I have to disconnect the cord from the power supply, walk it out, and unwind the loops on a near weekly basis. I'm never buying another robot that doesn't have a swivel cord.

As far as cleaning capability goes, it's mostly adequate. It's not great with small ledges or steps, and although I have a fairly simple pool shape, there's nearly always a couple of spots down the deep end that it manages to miss.

One of the better cleaners but not perfect for this price! – I had tried other brands and all failed. I had high hopes with this model but am a bit disappointed! floor I can see dust and particles start rising and get mixed with the water and as a result in a few minutes pool water become cloudy! I was expecting the suction to be very strong to catch them before they start floating! This one is really annoying!

- It misses some part of walls even with the longest deep clean cycle!

- Pick me up feature doesn't work. It gets stuck trying to climbing up the wall and often goes to the wrong side of the pool as well!

Overall I like this more than other brands and models but not something you want to pay ~3K$ for!!
