I initially purchased in February, after 3 lengthy repairs the new model sent broke down in exactly the same manner (one motor burnt out). Trying to get a refund now. Aiper customer care is very badly named, customer and care should not be in the same sentence. All i can say people is Avoid like the plague. I rarely complain but really it feels like a pyramid scheme exchanging faulty goods for cash.

Purchased in at Aiper for $1,499.

1 Star is generous. First device lasted 2 hours of cleaning and stopped and would not charge or power on again. That device was replaced under warranty as I needed to give them the opportunity to show it was a one off single device issue. The new device lasted 4 hours of cleaning and would no longer power on. That device was returned for a full refund (had to fight for the full refund). Support via the AI bot within the app is terrible. The online form on the website doesn't provide acknowledgement you have submitted a warranty claim. I had to ring only to be told, oh yes, we have it and we will be in touch. IMHO, if this product is the World's Best Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner, I don't hold out much hope for the others on the market.

Purchased in for $1,499.

One star is generous for the experience I’ve had with Aiper. After working with their service team to fault-find, the product is outside the 30 day return window and I’m left with a $2,000 Aiper ornament. The X1 worked as expected for just over a week, then began moving around the pool floor with no effective navigation, running only on the rear of its tracks and collecting no debris, unless I physically hold it down to the surface.

A quick search on Reddit shows this is not an isolated issue, with multiple users reporting the same problem. While their social media marketing is impressive, the product itself has been a major disappointment.

For prospective buyers, I strongly recommend choosing a proven brand such as Polaris, Zodiac, or Dolphin instead.
