We have booked mel to nadi, leaving on the midnight flight from melbourne. What is included in economy flight prices? Food, alcohol, entertainment etc?

I'm not sure if you a flying on their new plane but we had no entertainment, food was available but not worth eating, we had this cold hotdog but it didn't taste like meat so I don't know what it is. My 7 year old wouldn't eat it. I can't remember the alcohol sorry. At the end of your flight they spray the whole plane with insect spray so be careful I had to hold my breath but my mum is asthmatic so it was hard for her. And it's a small plane. They have supposedly launched their new plane so you might be in luck. I will never ever book air Pacific again and have told all our family and friends not to fly with them. Hope this helps

Agree with Natasha, Planes are always late from and to Melbourne. You get to airport and findout the flight has been delayed. Staff are not very happy, local drinks are provided, the food is not woth eating and overall poor Service.

Do they weigh your carry on luggage on Air Pacific ?

They didn't weigh mine. In fact in my experience I've never had my carry on luggage weighed by any airline, but I've always had fairly small hand luggage bags.

In our case they didn't weigh our handbags and backpacks, neither in Melbourne, nor in Nadi. Just need to mention: Nadi customs went through my wife's handbag, and requested a zip lock plastic bag for my wife's parfumes and cosmetics (she had an ordinary plastic bag). So I had to quickly run to airport newsagent to buy F$1 bag. Just another pain in a back, and really annoying one.

Thanks for you answer, we flew out of Auckland to LAX last year on Air New Zealand and they weighed our carry ons, they were very particular to the neares kg.

Is it okay to carry a backpack and also a carry-on on this airline for international travel?

I had heard they were strict with the carry on luggage. I only had a backpack, my wife had a small carry on case and a large handbag and others had more than one piece of carry on. So you should be OK

Shocking airline. They have no sense of customer service or dispute resolution. I have not heard one positive thing about flying with them. Be warned - we had a terrible experience which I have already posted about the airline.
