Stayed at an apartment in Brisbane recently and everything went smoothly. The place was clean and matched the photos well. We had one small question during the stay about the airkeeper and got a reply quickly.
This dodgy service is a third party person. The most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. Booked thry Stayz and paid for it. absolute joke. When I called the number all I got was a hello....... not this is ...... from AirKeeper. So unprofessional.... Didn't know the answers to any questions I asked just went silent. Who ever is using this service for their AirBnB. Stop now. I asked for an immediate refund. Fo not use these people..
We stayed in a CBD apartment in Melbourne and found it a very practical base for our trip. Check-in instructions were clear and sent ahead of time, and the apartment was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. We’d happily stay again.
The views from our ocean-front property managed by AirKeeper were amazing. The house was well stocked and comfortably set up for the 10 of us, with everything we needed for a group stay. We had so much fun in the games room with the pool table and pinball machine.

We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, there was a power outage for a few hours though.
The team did a great job furnishing our property for short-term rentals, listing it, and managing it. As it was a big investment for us, we had many questions, and Alex was generous with his time and gave us balanced, realistic answers. The property has been well looked after, and we are achieving the income stream we hoped for.
The house we stayed at on the lake in Budgewoi worked well for our family. The kayaks were a real hit with our teenage sons. The kitchen was well stocked and the fridge was a good size.

the 4 people booked, so I emailed about it. They said they are in the cupboard, which i had already looked in all cupboards and had told them. Ten they got back to me 6 hours later with a photo of the cupboard they were in, again replied all cupboards were checked including that one. Then 24hrs later they messed me to say the towels are left on a table out the front of the entrance to the underground car park. They had no idea what level the pool was on when I asked. The TV remotes had no batteries. We brought some to only find out there was no channels or wifi. They gave a wifi network and password that did not work, 6 hour before we were leaving asked if I could spend time trying to fix it and taking photos along the way. Which i didn't, and let them know how unimpressed i was.
I can't say yay or nay but I have to say the check in process is a nightmare and after going through the right ramolla of photo identification and verification then reading 10 pages of rule's. Seriously how many people are going to read 10 pages when they want a vacation. I was exhausted after the legal process. I might be wrong but I just found it drained and I wonder where my identification has really gone too

When I followed this advice and refused to upload my card, AirKeeper replied that unless I complied, they would withhold check-in instructions and told me to cancel instead. This left me no choice but to cancel my stay.
This is a very poor and unsafe customer experience. AirKeeper’s process overrides Agoda’s own payment protections and puts guests at risk of unfair charges. Reading online reviews, I now see I’m not the only one with this experience.
This company over charges & under services. They did not work with me as a property owner to present the property to its max
We have come back from a stay using booking.com in Batemans bay NSW. The property was managed by airkeeper who were appalling. We didn't have enough sheets and bedding for the people staying. that didn't seem to bother airkeeper enough to act faster. They even rang and said they would deliver on day 4, we waited all afternoon and they didn't deliver or ring. Just when I was about to go buy sheets and bedding they turn up with, 'O sorry about that'. Stay clear of the service. The place we stayed at was beautiful but over shadowed by airkeepers service and subsequently the reviews are now poor which I'm sorry about, but there is no other way to take any action. Hopefully the owners of the houses look to take action with their feet. Happy holidaying.

Definitely a scam. After placing deposit, it asks for a photo of your credit card, and a photo of you hold your ID. If you call them, they will state that you can trust their system. reservation immediately by calling them as there was no webpage to cancel. Emailed them regarding refund on deposit as it was cancelled immediately, they stated it will be provided 3-5 days. This was 2 weeks ago. Still no refund.
AIRKEEPER IS A SCAM - took my money got nothing – AVOID AIRKEEPER Paid AirKeeper. was 3kms from the “apartment” and apparently needed a six digit code - Airkeeper finally gave me one, wrong code, then again wrong code, then we got one key and a security fob from IGA (an hour later), got back in the cab ($50 more on the meter) and drove 3kms to find the security keys didn't work to the foyer (til we snuck in behind a person with a proper key) and then we couldn't get up the lift. After a couple of hours of stuffing around we handed the key to the security guard and walked to a proper hotel.
After not being able to get into this supposed apartment, we requested a refund and was denied. More than several attempts later AirKeeper says we have not cancelled and do not get a refund.
UPDATE - 24 hours later, no key works BUT AIRKEEPER HAS NOT PROVIDED A REFUND AND NOW is saying the keys work. Given 5 people plus the apartments security guard have tried the keys I can conclude.….AIRKEEPER IS A DODGY COMPANY RUN BY SHONKS………AIRKEEPER WORKS FOR SOME PEOPLE BUT WILL COMPLETELY RIP OFF MOST PEOPLE.
Me and my two sons came to Melbourne for their grandfathers funeral.
AirKeeper is an absolute disgrace. AirKeeper staff are still emailing & texting and trying to pretend everything they have done is fine. FFS.

Zero Star Rating - Fraudulent Company – If there were zero stars I would have selected that! Terrible scam type company that you should never use!!!!! Do not send a photo of your passport. If they promise a refund be prepared for them to change their mind at a later date.
Fraudulent and deceitful host – Booked Melbourne CBD apartment, paid full amount on booking. Booked through Airbnb as an identity verified customer Denied access to the property because I wouldn't send them photographs of myself and my driver's licence. Airbnb said they agreed with me but were unable to resolve. Company initially refused refund, then asked me to cancel the booking at my end get refund. When I cancelled the booking, they again refused to refund.

by Police checking into our apartment having booked it through an unverified third party. Both bookings led to insurance claims. It was terrible, scary, stressful and very costly to be a client of AirKeeper. Beware also of signing AirKeeper’s contract which is in the form of a subscription service, and requires the owner to pay hefty exit fees to end the agreement early. AirKeeper in Brisbane is managed from the Gold Coast and our experience was that this team had poor understanding or interest in the Brisbane market, or in ensuring agreed service standards - such as AirBNB cleaning guidelines - were met. Strangely, AirKeeper’s Area Manager repeatedly asserted that it was their acceptable cleaning standard to only SPOT CLEAN THE SHOWER between guests - ie to not clean the shower screen glass, to not clean the shower wall tiles, to not clean the shower floor. It was revolting and stressful to not be able to reach agreement on basic cleaning requirements- or anything else. Do yourself a favour by avoiding AirKeeper.

from the main platform, Airbnb, because of reviews from the initial few guests. all these reviews are based solely on management and management decisions, not on the property and what I provide in the property, as you will read below. - Property manager agreeing to the cleaning company to put sheets on a still damp mattress for the first guest. Honestly, this is common sense that it is so absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable. My 6 year old nephew could tell you this and yet a manager approved it. - The key pick up being poorly arranged and dramas being had from the beginning for the guests where guests are unable to collect the keys because the organisation at the key drop was so poor - The cleaning company doing an absolutely disgraceful job. I went in before a guest arrived to find dirty bed linen shoved and dumped in one of the cupboards, trash dumped in the laundry basin, floors not vacuumed, dirty dishes being put back in the cupboards, the kitchen cupboards, drawers and fridge being dirty - Guests not being explicitly explained that the dishwasher was broken by the guests that left the morning they arrived and the place being trashed, things stolen and a 10 hour clean was required rather than a 2 hour clean. That same guest then telling that dryer also was not working, obviously broken by the same guests, and I heard nothing about this until their review came up Reviews not being responded to in a timely manner - With all the comments in the reviews, almost all but most likely all, are directly related to avoidable issues that should not have happened but which were due to management. - When I call the contact number, during business hours, the vast majority of the time, it goes unanswered.
The reply to reviews is terrible, so late and delayed and so lacking in content to deal and broach with issues raised.
The net rental income I am getting is far below what I would otherwise be getting if I was renting it out long term, and then on top of this I have the costs of power, gas, internet, rates and the stress and dramas of it being in STR rather than in the hotel pool where it was or in long term. This is even though occupancy is good, the nightly rate is sooo low.
I want to take it from them because my property can not now recover from all the management caused poor reviews and ratings but they will not let me out of the termination contract without huge fees, even though I am in this position because of their disgracefully poor service and quality they provide.
STAY AWAY from this poor company and either manage it yourself or find a company who is able to manage it properly.
