This organisation lacks transparency & accountability & seems to hold it's clients in contempt. The yearly fee of $1611.11 for a 1 bedroom, 53 year old flat in Reservoir Victoria is outrageous. The manager is rarely available by phone & has never visited the property in person. When I last spoke to him he was so unprofessional, unhelpful & rude (he actually yelled at me numerous times, refused to provide his full name or the name of his manager & then hung up) that I had to write to his Supervisor. The supervisor was completely unconcerned by...his staffer's behaviour & told me that although I pay his organisation a lot of money every year, I was in fact NOT a client & therefore did not have the right to complain to VBCS at all. The gardener they sub-contract to mow our garden cuts down newly planted seedlings & sprays weed killer everywhere, endangering the health of my neighbour's children & pets. Truly disgusting behaviour by a bullying boys club. I would never recommend this organisation at all, for any type of service. They are awful people.
Going Above and Beyond
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Prashant Pawa at VBCS for what I feel is going above and beyond in helping clear away some normal red-tape on getting approvals in order to be most helpful. Its much appreciated Prashant, keep up the excellent work! All the best Laurence

They don't do anything
The community managers and their manger haven't answered their phone this year and it's December (messages go to voice mail, they don't ring back), they rarely answered e-mails (although read receipted ) and have not raised OC requested levies from 2 years ago. As far as we are concerned they don't do anything for their fees.
Josephine Terranova - A true professional!
Josie took over the Management of our block in Toorak some 18 months ago when we were feeling a little disillusioned with her predecessor and we now couldn't be happier with her professionalism and level of service. Josie is always very prompt in replying to all our enquires and is always ready and able to offer valuable assistance and advice. The OC manager for the property at 17 Park Street Hawthorn has done a great job in helping to manage the property.
All issues relating to the management of the property have been done professionally and I as the chairperson is able to communicate and have access to the property manager.
Professional & Knowledgeable
We recently carried out an inspection of the books and records at VBCS for a strata report that we were preparing for our client, who is a prospective purchaser in one of the properties that VBCS manage.
The OC Manager Kat Lhotsky, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the property and the books and records were very organised and easy to view!
On top of all of that we were able to make our appointment the same week as our request, which allowed for us to have our report ready for our client promptly.

Very impressed with new property manager
Prashant recently took over managing our property in in the outer south east of Melbourne, and I was so impressed with the way he handled the first issue for us, that it prompted me to write this review.
I found the way Prashant handled the situation to be very timely and prompt, very responsive, and at all times polite and courteous. Overall, he was very professional. I hope he keeps managing our property!
Terrible management, too many managers, hopeless services
These people have had over 7 managers for out apartments in the last 12 months. The most recent one is a 22 year old from Ireland who only knows how to read the body corporate rules. Also the services they provide have always been high cost and low quality, they clearly have not been assessing, auditing and keeping a sophisticated book of service providers. But they know how to bill you and to control meetings.
Dissapointed So many managers in 12 months
How can a Manager from Queensland Know or care what he is authorising E.G.[Name Removed]
when authorising a crucial and costly decision in Melbourne
