My experience with Ernst has been extremely disappointing. Despite proactively applying for a fee waiver due to change in personal circumstances, I received no response for over three months, allowing fees to balloon. Their communication is poor, citing emails I never received with no proof of email provided (concerning record keeping). Their… Read more

policy is a Catch-22: they require you to pay your account in full before they will even consider waiving the fees that make up that balance, which defeats the entire purpose of asking for help. They show a complete lack of flexibility or customer care. I cannot recommend them. I have escalated the issue to BCCM after receiving no resolution from the link provided below.

No replies – Have been involved with other BC but have to say none are as bad as this. Wait for reply and only receive some at all. Receiving acknowledgments of email would be great and surprised a company this large didn’t have a automatic acknowledgment procedure.

Just want to say how fantastic Maree Johnson is from Ernst Body Corporate Management. I sent my levies to the wrong bpay address. I contacted Maree telling her of my predicament, and she was so understanding. Allowed me a 2 week extension without any late fees to retrieve the money from the bank and deposit into the correct account. Totally my fault, and she could have said as much, and charged the interest for being late. Thanks again Maree Show reply

My daughter recently signed a contract to purchase a unit. There were a number of critical items she listed as Special Conditions in the contract related to owner improvements—building approvals, certifications and insurance—that required further information and clarification. usual processes were not close to resolving the issues and we were facing a cancellation of the contract.

In desperation we contacted staff member Stephanie who was listed as the Body Corporate Manager contact on the contract.

To say that the way Stephanie managed our issues was outstanding is an understatement.

Stephanie’s communication style immediately indicated she was approachable and willing to assist as much as possible, followed up by clear and specific information that gave us an excellent understanding of what needed to be done. Stephanie’s actions over the next few business days to guide the problems to a successful resolution in a timely manner demonstrated high levels of initiative and lateral thinking. Her communication with us remained calm and focussed on a positive outcome for all.

We are very extremely grateful for her assistance and rate her competency and customer service skills as superior.

distribution has been managed by EBCM for nearly 6 months. Upon my request, Katie agreed to waive the arrears notice fee and overdue interest fee which was wrongly issued into the levy. I am looking forward to those refunded credits upcoming in the next levy notice to offset my future payment. Katie, it would have been much better customer experience if we could have you on board earlier! Well done!
