I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Airport Toyota. I bought a used car from them and within the first two months it broke down on three separate occasions. Each time I was left stranded on the side of the road with my children which was both unsafe and distressing. Despite the seriousness of the situation and… Read more

the clear faults with the vehicle Airport Toyota has refused to provide a refund or replacement. Their lack of accountability and unwillingness to stand behind the cars they sell is extremely disappointing.

I am now left with no choice but to lodge a case with VCAT which means investing more time and money into a process that may not even deliver a fair outcome. This is something no customer should have to go through after such a recent purchase.

When you purchase a car from a dealership you expect reliability and fair treatment if issues arise. Unfortunately Airport Toyota has failed on both counts. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy dealership or a safe dependable vehicle.

Damage Caused at Essendon Toyota Service Centre – Extremely Disappointed I took my vehicle to Essendon Toyota for a scheduled service, expecting professionalism and care, but I was left absolutely appalled by their negligence. Not once, but twice, they damaged my vehicle while it was in their care! The first time, I was willing to give them the… Read more

benefit of the doubt, but after it happened again during another scheduled service, it became clear that this is a pattern of carelessness and negligence. Instead of owning up to their mistakes and making things right, I was met with excuses and a lack of accountability and empathy. It was only when I had produced my own photos of when I had dropped the car off in their care that they took ownership of the damage.

A dealership service centre should provide peace of mind, not stress and frustration. If you care about your vehicle, I strongly recommend taking it elsewhere. I will never trust Essendon Toyota Service Centre with my car again!

If you’re prepared to take the risk, then I suggest you take your own photo’s / video of the vehicle when dropping it off in their care and inspecting it thoroughly when picking it up because once you drive out of their, they will deny any damage. Both occasions cost me a week without my vehicle while it had to get repaired.

Apart from an apology and admitting fault when produced with my own photo’s I was left with these words…Relax, it’s only a car. Great Service Toyota

If you would like your car damaged, then bring it to Essendon Toyota Service Centre. They’ll do the Job well

Well done team…Thanks for leaving me stranded without my vehicle not once but on 2 separate occasions

RESPONSE TO AIRPORT TOYOYA

Thanks for responding Toyota…It’s hard to say how accurate one can be, considering you damaged my vehicle on two separate service intervals. On top of that, the loan vehicle you provided came with excessive excess charges for any accidental damage, inside or out. I couldn’t access my toolboxes which were in the vehicle Toyota damaged or carry building materials in my loan vehicle for fear of damaging the interior. I couldn’t even take my dog to the vet because pets weren’t allowed in the loan vehicle.

Had I driven off without noticing the damage, proving your staff’s negligence would have been nearly impossible—not just once, but twice. Your $240 service refund didn’t even come close to covering the lost days of booking in the vehicle to get a quote, then dropping off the vehicle to get the repairs, then picking up the loan vehicle from Toyota, then picking up my vehicle (5 days later) from the repairer, then bringing my vehicle back to get weather shields put back on due to them being damaged during the repairs, then having to return back 4 weeks later to book my vehicle in for ceramic coating again after it had been resprayed. That was only to get the repairs done.

I then had lost work due to not being able to transport my tools or tow my trailer. In total, across both incidents where my vehicle had been damaged at Essendon Toyota Service Centre, I lost more than 2 weeks of work.

Thanks for the $240 refund. A real insult to your negligence and damage caused to my vehicle by ESSENDON TOYOTA SERVICE CENTRE

Dint waste your money or car – Total waste of money ($7500) for no issues resolved and rags left to flutter next to fan belt and minor work done on my full service. They refused to resolve anything unless truthful reviews removed. Shameful! Head office unable to assist as service and prices and work they charge is separate from the Toyota sales and no affiliation with the Toyota brand

Customer Service? – Ordered spare parts for my Toyota Tarago with Andrew. Waited six weeks for product to arrive from Japan only to receive the wrong product due to error by customer service. Returned product the following day only to be met by resentment by customer service ( maybe they should be reminded that they are working in customer service). I have made 3… Read more

follow up calls to talk to Andrew only to be told he is unavailable . Requested call back 3 times ,never heard anything. Going in person tomorrow, demand a refund and make arrangements to have my car serviced elsewhere.

Product faulty and terrible customer service – I bought from this Toyota dealer at Airport West water pump for my car. After having installed for one day the car was still over heating. I have changed the radiator and the thermistor and still the car was over heating until I again replaced the water pump but this time not from Toyota. The car stopped over heating. I went back to the dealer… Read more

Confused – Hi team my name is Vince an a proud owner of a new Toyota single cab (700 km) No issues with delivery sales person [Name Removed] was great. The reason of this post is that one small rivet has made the Toyota experience less than desirable. Will explain the bracket which holds one of the support bars in the rear tray has came away. Service centre… Read more

booked out however was able to book me in first thing 7.30.But however they needed my vehicle for a minimal 2 to 3 hour. When I question the email response was in case they came across any other issues. In their defense they offered a loan car however the time I drove out the car park the rivet could have been put in. But no official response was we need vehicle. I was leaving for a break out of Melbourne. I don't understand how replacing one rivet cold take .A fair time would be 30 minutes by the time they get the car drive in workshop and out again no need to wash it or do any thing else. So I cancelled the appointment I left on my holiday. DeIma I have to deal with do I get my single cab serviced at Airport west when time means so little.

new car sales – salesman giving verbal assurances to deliver a new car withing 4 to 6 weeks and expect to sign the contract with delivery time between 6 to 8 month. Strongly recommend anyone looking to buy a new car stay well away from airport Toyota.

Scammers! – A few weeks ago i contacted Airport Toyota in relation to getting a service booked in for my Toyota Camry which had just tick'd over the 90k mark and needed a major service as recommended by the service book. As the service attendant was booking me i asked how much this would cost and to my surprise she said it would be $840 (could be slightly… Read more

more or less cannot remember the exact amount). After hearing this alarm bells went off as it just seemed just way to expensive for standard log book service anyhow i told the attendant to hold off on the booking for now as i wanted to do some more investigating. Shortly after i called Preston Toyota and they quoted me $655 for the exact same service that's almost a $200 dollar difference. Was a no brainer! i went ahead and booked with them.

As a loyal customer i immediately called up Airport Toyota and requested to speak to the service manager (cant remember his name) to find out what was going on, upon explaining the situation he didn't have much to say other than agreeing that it was very concerning and that he would be looking into it immediately and getting back to me once he has an outcome.

It has been over 2 weeks now and i have not received any response.

I was a loyal customer at airport toyota but not anymore. Please avoid this dealership or at the very least shop around before you settle on their overpriced services.

Exceptional service and friendly staffs – I would like to give big thanks to Mick Asaad (Used Car sales Assistant, Jelena Cernjavic (Used Vehicle Manager) and Kevin Bugeja (New car sales Assistant) - Bought the Toyata second hand car on 15/12/2021 from Airport Toyata. Dealed with Mick. On the day of pick up, his day off (I was aware). Even on his day off, he answered my message… Read more

efficiently. Great work Mick!! - Before we start the car, the battery was not fully charged so the car did not start. One of the staff charged the battery and said it should be fully charged by the time I reached home. - Following morning, it did not start again and called Mick. Frustrated really ….I must say he and Jelena solved my problem. They did their best. Thanks to Jelena for calling me back to solve the issue.

Being me as a Customer, I must say Mick and Jelena were professional and have a high standard of service. That is what the Customers expectation especially from The brand name “Toyata”.

Kevin: Heartly thanks to him for touching up the paint for second hand car Even though it’s not his department. To me, this is “Beyond the service”. Can’t wait to see RAV 4- GX

I believe we will receive the same kind of service in future.

Recommend : If someone going to buy second hand car - Mick the best, helpful, professional and not pushy, polite

If someone looking to buy brand new car - Kevin Bugeja the best, polite, exceptional service, helpful too

They're happy to lose a customer over a $2 part. Go figure! – Would not fix a loose bumper panel under warranty. The part would have cost $2 at most, but no, we can't cover that. Then continued to bombard me with text reminders for servicing. No thanks, I have better operators closer to home who know how to look after a customer. Show details

Nice and high quality service by Charles Roccuzzo – Fantastic service from the minute we entered, nice and fact based approach. The professional attitude of Charles Roccuzzo and the team is remarkable. It made the whole experience easy. Also the finance department staff, Henry, very helpful and to the point. Just about to finished my last cap price service – I have been servicing my new Toyota Fortuner in Toyota Airport West from 30,000 kms onwards as it still on cap priced servicing and another reason is I have recently moved fairly close to the area. At the beginning I was happy with the service, not until I have my car serviced today on it's last cap priced servicing. The customer service told me… Read more

that my undertray protector is missing and if I want to order the undertray protector it will going to cost me $420. I asked how is that possible? the customer service told me that it could have been gone missing when you go 4x4. I said that is impossible. As I don't go 4wd in hard terrain at most I just go on a dirt rd. He asked me it might have stolen? I am still racking my brains why would someone go to the extend in stealing an undertray protector? My speculation is, probably during their last service they might have remove the undertray protector and forgot to install it back. I believe the way the dealership handle my car service was disgusting and I will not going back to their delaership anymore. From today onwards I will be looking to get my car service somewhere else as I don't trust this dealership anymore.
