Thanks to Jacinta for helping today! Such a pleasure working with the team here at Albion Veterinary Surgery. They're professional, responsive, and genuinely care about the animals and their owners. Communication has always been seamless, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet clinic that goes above and beyond.
Poor service at a very high price – My son offered to take my sister's dog to the Albion Veterinary Practice for an immunisation shot in late July. The practice added a $101 Consultation fee + $135 for Parasite control - $236 extra for services not required given that Jessi was already being given Bravecto Parasite Protection. They also quoted just over $1100 for dental work they deemed as necessary. Given that this amount is the same as the fortnightly pension amount received by my sister, the work was not carried out until now (at another veterinary practice). I felt the ~$1100 quote seemed high given that my sister's dog seemed happy and healthy and had no trouble at all in eating the Science Diet dry dog food, so I took my sister's dog to a vet with very close to 60 years experience and the bill for dental work was just over $530 and his examination did not indicate that a number of the procedures quoted earlier were required. The same vet did not charge a consult fee at all for my cat's vaccination and this was my cats first visit to the practice. The vet also removed a small amount of tatar from my cat's teeth, gave him a quick look over and declared him a very healthy boy.
