I walked in with my dog and came out alone
Greencross Vets love your pets!
We have been taking Jackie, our beautiful Staffy to Greencross Vets Fairy Meadow for about 3 years now and we know her health is in excellent hands. All the staff are very kind and professional and always have Jackie's best interests at heart. I highly recommend Greencross Vets if you want the best for your precious pet.
Arrive 5 minutes early wait, 5 minutes late cant be seen
I arrived 5 minutes late to my appointment and my dog got refused to be seen, but the other 7 times I went I was 5 minutes to 10 minutes early and had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes after my appointment time before my pet was even seen. This to me shows that your time is more valuable then mine, I will be cancelling my membership and going to a new vet and have recommended the 5 people who I got to go there to do the same.
Great service
Great service for both me and my pets, able to explain what is happening and great care and compassion

Incompetent vet
Took my Jack Russell for a health check and nail clip to Campbelltown branch. The vet on 2 attempts tried to take my dogs temperature and couldn’t. Then I asked her to check his teeth and gums and only distressed my dog to a point where she gave up and guessed that the teeth were good. When she tried to trim the nails she did one nail and gave up then said she would give me some capsules for him to take overnight to relax him and for me to bring him back the next day to try and trim the nails while under medication. They charged me $127.00 for the visit and nothing was done. I’ll never go back there again.

Greencross Vet Ellenbrook. Vet nurse Makenzie was brilliant. Very friendly and efficient. Adjusted charge as only needed to do half of what was initially asked for. Thank you. Most appreciated.

We were charged $1200 even though we called to cancel services. A partial refund was granted after escalation.
Our cat was admitted to this Vet yesterday and we were told they they are completely booked so that our cat would be sedated and have an x-ray later that afternoon, around 2-3pm. After calling within 30 minutes to cancel all services, the vet rushed the sedation and scans to charge us $1200.
After escalating the matter through fair trading, [Name Removed], the Clinical Director made a very genuine attempt to try and resolve our concerns. He conducted an internal audit and spoke to parties involved. He spoke to us several times to provide an up

Money hungry & profiting off your dying pets
They will charge you over $1000 for an xray on one paw and rush services that you cancel to charge you against your wishes. Well done to Scott (director) for being the biggest vulture in NSW in supporting these dodgy and unethical practices.

CANNON HILL vet has been and is still the absolute worst place to take your pet for years...The person at the front desk(mind you it's been different ones...but still all of them are nasty) abuses you no matter what...absolutely pathetic!! Unfortunately got to get someone to drive me further out of my way to go to another Greencross vet...but all the other Greencross vets are awesome, atleast I know my dog is going to be looked after and I'm not going to be abused and feel like crap!! Get rid of the people that work in Cannonhill Greencross vets, it ruins our pets chances!!!

Terrible service and ridiculously over priced - werribee
We had a dog injured and was quoted $4000 for the first 48 hours. No broken bones she fall out of a gator at 5klm an hour. This included X-rays everything. The first vet in emergency showed us no compassion just acted like a robot. We had no communication from them we had to chase them for updates. And we are talking about 14 hours after the dog was in the emergency department. The second vet whom treated our dog said she was doing super and that X-rays wouldn’t be done as they didn’t feel necessary. The dog stayed an extra 12 hours due to the 3
... Read morerd vet saying she wasn’t happy for her to come home yet and making us feel guilty to want to bring her home. We explained I was a vet nurse and would be happy to look after her. She basically was rude and said you will just end up back here. Felt like she was trying to get a quota filled as I asked the oxygen levels and was told she would be weaned off by the second bet but the third one was almost cranky at me asking why this hadn’t happened. Oh because they were busy. Busy but we were charged level 3 vet care ? When we collected the dog she was great had to wait 2 hours to collect her then didn’t even get to see a vet. The bill then Came to a total of $7000 ! No X-rays just oxygen therapy and pain relief. Oh and water . I rang and explained I had worked in the vet industry as a nurse for 15 years and was appalled at the price and at the lack of professionalism. No one cared. I will in future drive to Kensington as they are always professionalHi Danielle, thank you for your feedback. We would love to look into this further for you. I was left very disappointed after my visit with Greencross Mount Gravatt. I am no newbie when it comes to vet surgeries after breeding, training and showing horses internationally for the past 25 years as well as owning various other animals such as cattle, dairy goats, poultry, sheep, dogs, cats and exotic species also. I haven’t had much need for a vet in the past 4 years since moving off the farm and into the city. I have the pet care plan for my Sphynx as it includes vaccinations etc. I typically use Cannon Hill but as they were busy this
... Read moreparticular day I was referred to Mount Gravatt as my cat cut herself of a piece of broken glass when I was cleaning it up. The cut was small and was not through any tendons the only concern was it being on the foot and a higher chance of infection. I had flushed it myself and found no pieces of glass inside. I was going to treat at home as I have extensive experience bandaging an array of animals in various locations and have had an injury almost identical on a greyhound which we had stapled and bandaged with a course of antibiotics. I thought she could do with some antibiotics due to cats getting in and out of a litter box and no longer had my medical box of bandages and other bits and pieces so I booked her in to have it checked over. The vet did up a quote of $1400 stating that the cat needed emergency surgery under general which was extremely excessive as i don’t even pay half that amount for a wound 10 times the size on a horse with all medication, sedative etc nor did this wound require emergency surgery. In the end the bill came down to $265 however the vet would not allow for me to manage the wound myself or allow me to purchase the bandaging materials to do so despite my experience. I would have been more than happy to demonstrate my capabilities if this was what was in question. She had been bandaged and put back into the carrier without me looking at her and when I got her home the bandage job from the vet was extremely poor. It was so excessively wrapped that it was massive. She was unable to use the end of the bandage to stand at all and actually walked around on her elbow. I drove the 1.5 hours to my old vet who was more than happy to supply me the bandaging materials for less than $30 for 3-4 changes worth. Greencross Mount Gravatt charged me $85 for the bandaging job which was a poor standard. I was also charged for hospitalisation when I was told over the phone to bring her in immediately and don’t wait until the appointment time I had scheduled and that I wouldn’t be charged hospitalisation if I was to leave her there for a few hours so they could conduct their checks.Hi Kat, thank you for your feedback. Have had to deal with a terrible vet called [Name Removed]. Constantly keeps pressuring the owner to spend over $1.2k for a surgery which she has already said on 3 different occasions she simply can not afford. It has made the owner feel anxiety, guilty and pressured. The annual membership is meant to include nail trimming and a blood test but they are unable to even perform this making constant excuses that the dog wont keep still and want more money for sedation (even a dog groomer can is able to clip their nails). Money making business that have terrible pushy vets (WOULD NOT RECOMMEND) will definitely be cancelling this membership !!!
