very respectful and dignified way to say good-bye to our only pet of 20 years. He simply went to sleep doing what he loved more than anything - eating his Beef Mince Whiskas.

huge respect for Dr Shanon for making sure I didn’t see any of his tools ( I did ask as I didn’t want to see anything), he let me hold my baby one last time and let her go peacefully. I’d 100% recommend him if anyone had to make that difficult call, even booking online made it easier because I couldn’t talk to anyone whilst having to make that appointment. 10/10 from start to finish!

Calm, Caring and Professional – We would like to thank Dr Shannon for his very calming and caring no rush approach to our beloved dog as well as us. Kind, caring professional service – I cannot rate Dr Shanon Donovan and Perth Vet Care highly enough. After a less than satisfactory experience with another Vet and home euthanasia some years ago I was hesitant to try it again. The service provided by Dr Donovan and Perth Vet Care was exceptional. They provided my 19 year old dog Vinnie with a peaceful and beautiful way of passing and were skilled in easing my distress. Look no further than this company.
As beautiful as could be – My grandfather always said if you weren’t 5 minutes early you were late and Dr Shanon arrived 8 mins early. You don’t want to be waiting when you’ve been conditioning your much loved one all day for the last thing you want to do to them. I don’t mean it went that quick but Shanon got us talking about life, our dogs life, our lives and it was just as beautiful as it could be if that’s possible in such a distressing time.
I was a highly anxious customer as I have my own health issues and our pooch just kept making miraculous recovery’s time and time again.
But Dr Shanon would just say “next time he makes a turn for the worst give me a call” and it was only one call after the initial contact that we went through with it.
My wife and I got our final good byes in that we’d gotten in all day albeit tricking him that dr Shanon was coming to fix him. But he was almost 18 and we were the absolute last of everyone we knew to hold off. We actually aced it. He had a quick sudden neurological downturn and I honestly think a day or two later may have been too late. You don’t want to euthanise a long term friend that doesn’t recognise you!
Shanon and I put him in his bag, zipped him up and gently lowered him down the hole I’d dug for him.
He’s the rock star of Perth pet euthanasia’s, he really is.

He discretely checked on the well-being of Our boy and once confirmed he was near end of life he slowly walked us through the process and allowed us to keep him calm and peaceful as the family gathered around.
