The last time I was sent a Petbarn voucher was in 2023, despite spending a lot of money at the local vet’s and being told by my local Petbarn store that I have qualified many times over. It is disgraceful. Whilst I am very happy with what is covered at my local vet’s, being promised vouchers to spend at Petbarn is a total scam.

quite a bit. The other thing we love is that unlike other pet insurance, we don't have to pay upfront and then claim. This takes out the financial stress. It's just been fantastic for low income earners.
I have had my dog to the vet here in Gawler S.A and their diagnoses was spot on , They were very thorough in their examination and explained everything to me and what medication he should be on Highly recommend the green cross vets

Had we waited to Monday to (maybe) get an appointment it would likely have been too late. The follow up email from the vet outlining an action plan was extremely helpful in ensuring the best outcome for our very sick little dog.

Many than happy with this service, every time we have had to visit Greencross for our two cats the staff have been marvellous. Especially on a long weekend for an unexpected issue with one of our cats, thank you.
We have three elderly dogs who all have their own health issues which means regular vet visits, tests, medications, etc. With every consultation free no matter how many times we attend, this makes it far less stressful for us. Combine that with the other fabulous discounts including medications, procedures, vaccinations, blood tests, etc, etc, this is fabulous value for money for us!
Being "owned" by several cats over the years, having the Healthy Pets Plus throughout their lives helps to take the worry and any financial shocks out of the equation. The staff are Greencross have always been so caring, clearly explaining things to me as my fur -bubs age.

For $50 a month we have been healthy pets plus members with our 2 kittens for only 2 months and have already saved close to $1300! Just the saving of almost $350 to desex one of our cats made it more than worth it.

Miss Chelsea 17 years old .. was going to be discarded after years of constant pregnancies.. we got her in the middle of Covid.. she has had pancreaitis twice and survived.. now blind and virtually deaf but the love of my life.. she is now on fortnightly visits... Master Charlee.. 2 years old.. at 6 weeks peed inside then thrown outside for the next 15 months.. no bed or shelter.. food thrown to him.. one big matt ball weighed 3.8 kg matted.. weighed 1.2 after I finished cutting the matt off him.. he loves the team at Moorooka..I say to everyone with furbabies.. join HPP.. they are fantastic.. my friends that have joined say it is the best thing they as well as myself have done for our fur bubbas.. Healthy Pets Plus is a great service . Firstly this is not pet insurance (which a lot of people have now) but an extremely helpful preventive and I for one wouldn't be without it. I don't think people read the details before signing up and get confused when an emergency arises and they have out of pocket expenses, I do understand the frustration of out of pocket I had an $8000 bill with a previous vet which is why I now have insurance, as well as HPP. I read some of the reviews which honestly surprised me, no continuity of care was one comment I find it hard to fathom as my fur baby Bella has seen the same vet since she was a tiny baby with only 1 exception however the treatment was as good, and her records were there for the vet to see. Our local is full of very helpful caring staff who explain everything including any extra expense.
My advice is if you aren't sure about Healthy Pets Plus speak to the staff at your local who I'm sure will be able to answer any questions and read the fine print then decide I'm glad we did. A big shout out to the amazing crew at our local Greencross Alexandria thank you Liz & Bella.

was informed that I had not chosen one of their recommended emergency veterinarians, thus I would not receive a refund. When I inquired about the locations of other recommended vets for future reference, I was told that they only have that one option in an emergency. This is utterly unacceptable! Furthermore, if you wish to cancel your policy, you are obligated to repay all the savings you accrued while being with them. Additionally, they have closed the veterinary clinic I previously used in Cannington. You are never assigned the same veterinarian, resulting in a lack of continuity and familiarity, and they clearly do not have knowledge of your pet's history. I have decided to cancel my policy! I am simply relieved that my pet did not suffer a fatal outcome! Now, they are demanding $275 due to my cancellation of the policy. Consequently, I am being pursued by a debt collector! I strongly advise avoiding this service at all costs.

I have always had Healthy Pets Plus each year for both Lola(12) and Clover (5) Prevention is better than a cure and with HHP I know any issue what so ever I can just book in no charge apart from medication if required. We have found good value signing up to Healthy Pets Plus. Its nice to be able to budget throughout the year paying monthly. Then when your pet has any check ups/vaccinations its nice to walk out knowing its already paid for. We haven't (thankfully) had to use the web vet at any stage, however its handy to know its available.
Healthy Pet Plus has again and again proved to be a necessity part to our puppies health as it provides them with their annual vaccinations, annual checks and massive discounts to any vet visits which reduces vet bill shocks.
Greencross healthy pets plus is an excellent option for ensuring that my Miss Lily Cat health care needs are covered and it gives me peace of mind knowing my fur baby has continued care from the amazing team at Greencross vets at Alexandria Sydney.
The Greencross Vets Healthy Pets Plus program has been really beneficial for us. It reduced the cost of desexing our pup significantly with 25% off and we got 10% off puppy pre school also. We have great peace of mind knowing that all consults and vaccinations are included for the year ahead. All the vets we have dealt with at Greencross have been excellent.
After the first year I have found that there is a considerable difference between services used and the amount paid. Some basic services are not covered and 10% discount isn't enough of an incentive to continue nor are the prohibitive meficine costs if requited. I will have to review my renewal as it may not be worrhwhile continuing.
