Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3

Sturdy Phone, terrible camera – The phone is so strong I threw it at the floor and it didn't even break. You cant even get cases for this thing and if you take the cover off it reveals a hideous metal binding and the battery and sim. This phone is so bad I couldn't even connect to the internet after not even a month. I'm happy to say I got rid of the piece of garbage. Show details
there are cheaper phones that run better than this – the apps and software of the phone break nearly every minute, receiving phone calls are a problem, battery life is horrible even without any apps running, its slow to put in a password to unlock the phone and is slow when running basic apps, seriously this is a good reason not to buy Alcatel phones and i had this phone for a month. Horrible phone – Sure it's a cheap phone and it won't cost you a lot. It's terrbile. It's a locked phone and you can only use Optus on it. It can only hold up to 8GB on it and it is already 4GB when you first get it so it will run out of space really quick. The camera is really weird on it. The battery runs out really fast. I can't believe my parents even gave me this rubbish as my first phone. Show details
average – Good for kids and teenagers or adults who want the bare basics like emails texts and chat apps. But it is by no means an iPhone. Memory fills very fast. Camera and video are terrible. Can add a memory card though. Only if you are on the tightest of budgets Show details
Great phone – Great phone for first time user to a smart phone and would likely purchase this brand again. Mine is the red in colour although i would say its more pink than red. This is my first smart phone and would not be likely to use a iPhone as I enjoy the smart phone technology Thumbs up, God Bless, Kylie Show details
Battery is too small ineffective – Annoying little phone, one touch is a complete misnomer. I have to tap mine like a woodpecker. Constantly Going Flat is annoying and outright dangerous if you need to rely on it for reliable contact.. I buy this size so it fits in my pocket but bigger battery should be standard unless customers opt for slimline option.. Had a couple of these won't have another. Show details
Very good phone – I bought an Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 for $19 and it was a great buy. The camera in it isn't the best quality, the pictures can be a bit blurry at times, especially if the lighting isn't bright, but maybe that's just my eye sight getting worse. For $19 who could complain Show details
decent smartphone which does the job – this is an entry level smartphone which has all the main features you could ask for obviously, one cannot expect it to perform on par with the pricey smartphones (e.g. Samsung) it has a decent camera and the interface is smooth and quite easy to use overall, it is decent value as a budget phone Show details
Very affordable for a quality smart phone – Easily one of my best buys to date. So affordable I bought a few in case I lose or break one. Months later, they're all in perfect working order. Used to have a much more expensive smart phone, till I broke it, and decided to buy a few. Very surprised it has better features than my previous expensive phone Show details
It's a phone and it does the job – For a cheap phone it worked pretty well. Internet/Facebook was pretty slow going but it worked. You can call, text, browse and play apps with little to no drama. Did find that occasionally it would just restart but usually it was because there was too much going on. Was even able to watch Netflix on the small screen. Pretty decent battery life… Read more
for the price.
Would be a good first phone or back up but wouldn't recommend if you intend to use it a lot. Camera quality not great but screen resolution almost makes up for it.
Not a Nokia – I used to like mobile phones when even simple souls could work out the gremlins in a Motoralla Brick or a sweet little Nokia.Had a few Nokias and loved most. Had some pricey and some cheap phones since and the average life was just past the warranty so I paid $69 for a Alcatel One pixi P.O.S. mobile paper weight. It only works when it wants to and I keep it so mates can wet themselves at my expense. Show details
No storage, poor button reaction timing – I wouldn't recommend this one for anything other than just emergency phone calls or texting. I bought this for my son & as soon as he installed a few games (apps), not one of them would operate as they all required more memory. Even when he kept just one app, the battery life was so short, had to be re-charged nearly every 24 hours. Saying that though, when all apps are deleted, the battery life lasts for days. Show details
Basic phone – I bought it from Big W for $29 and it came with an Optus sim and is locked to Optus. It has been a good phone with the only problem being the occasional slow boot up. It has a built in flash light. A good work phone or for the kids as you won't be unhappy if you drop it or lose it. Show details

Cheap price, But strong and reliable basic phone – Being a basic phone it won't run several high end apps all at the same time. But it's very reliable and has a decent battery life. It has a reliable wifi hotspot. Decent camera (for the price) and led light. I've dropped it a few times onto grass/dirt and it still works fine with no damage to the screen. Show details
Great phone for the money, only let down was the camera – I picked one of these up for $29 with a prepaid sim as a temporary phone after I broke the screen on my phone, I ended up keeping it for the best part of a year as it was a damn good phone, dropped it a few times and it barly had scratch, it ran plenty of apps well, the only real reason I had to give it up was the camera was very poor, and couldn't read small qr codes. Ok first phone – This phone has been just acceptable for a first time phone owner who is limited in their tech saviness. It has limited capabilities and is not the easiest to navigate. There seems to be a big issue with the phone hanging up in the middle of your call when the phone is pressed against your ear. The photo quality is not good and I wouldn't purchase… Read more
this phone again if given the do over. Instead I would have paid a small amount more for the next model up.
Lost my phone, used as temporary phone – I purchased it from woolworths during a sale. Great timing as I lost my phone and I was waiting for my new phone to arrive in a weeks time. Overall, it is a good budget phone. I didn't expect much from this but it works pretty good. It is not flash and not very speedy. Would be good for the kids or mum and dad who doesn't care about smartphones much. Show details
Needed a new phone, got this one – I purchased the Alcatel pixi not long ago, I do like how I could download games, snap chat, Facebook and instagram on it, however I didn't realise i couldn't block phone numbers on it, something I really need. The phone does run slow and the camera quality isn't the best. Show details
If 2Gb or less memory, don't bother – Being free, wasn't expecting much, but it's not great. Just keeping Android system up to date means can't download any apps. Have to keep removing all Cached data or can't keep it going. I got rid of all pictures and music, then bought a 32gb extra card, thinking to solve the problem, and discovered none of the core programs will run on the spare… Read more
card. The only downloaded app i have now is one that maximises disk space. It's also really twitchy with swiping, quite hard to use, many of the functions finicky and counter-intuitive (i downloaded the full manual in desperate attempt to figure it out). The volume's not great - it's fine on speaker, any other way it's almost inaudible. I don't have probs with other phones - just this one. It's now just a stopgap (it does make calls and send texts) until i can afford a better one. Shame - it looks like a nice little phone.
Good for price but slow – Recently bought 2 Alcatel pixi 3 phones one for me, and one for mum. Mum likes it because she doesn't use it much and only for calling or texting.. I however use line alot especially internet and YouTube. Overall the phone runs slow, and when making calls it sometimes glitches but apart from that I do like it :) thank you. Show details
My Pixi Phone – I found this a real challenge as i have always had button phones before this. Being older generation i am now pretty good using this phone it is ideal. The features are amazing and what i can do with it is beyond belief. I would reccomend this to most people who don't mine a challenge from old school to new thecnology. Show details
you get what you pay for – the Pixi it good for a cheap phone to make calls on but its very hard to write messages. It doesn't screen shot and the camera doesn't focus. in this case you get what you pay for. getting online and trying to scroll is a pain as well cause it either doesn't scroll when you try to or goes to fast. Not for seniors – I bought this phone as replacement for 2g samsung flip phone for my husband who only uses phone occassionally when travelling. This one looked like it would serve the purpose but alas as he used it infrequently had difficulty getting use to it. One other reason for buying it was for the bluetooth to use whilst driving and it served that purpose… Read more
well. Have since found a 3g flip with bluetooth and he is happy with this. (will review this Aspera F24 as well)
Very slow on the uptake, – I bought this phone as I changed service providers. Found it difficult to navigate at first, as came with very little instructions. Also the touch screen seemed very slow, particularly when texting. Quite often when someone would ring it wouldn't swipe either. Also found it hopeless for videos and average for pictures. On the up side , you have to… Read more
remember it is a very cheap phone and to be quite honest it has a lot of features for the price and is well built. All in all, I would recommend it to people that just want a basic phone that occassianally likes to surf the net, but if you are really into high tech, love taking videos, pictures and social media, it probably isn't the best phone for you.
Good for the price – This phone was on special for $49 at the OPTUS store so decided to give it a whirl. Have only had a basic mobile up to now but didn't take too long to figure out how to drive it and for the price I'm pretty happy with it. My only complaint would be that the shiny plastic screen makes it hard to read the screen outdoors. Show details
Works fine – Got this phone as a cheap replacement when other one failed. So far i have no problems with this phone. Browsing the internet is fine, using google maps is good. Everything works like it should. Have heard some bad reveiws but mine has none of the problems that were listed in them. For $39 i have zero complaints. Show details
Rubbish Phone – I have had numerous mobile phones in the past but this offering from Telstra is the most unuser friendly I have ever had the displeasure of using. UP YOUR'S ALCATEL Show details
