I purchased this unit three years ago on Monday the 30th January 2023. I have made over one hundred batches of yoghurt of every kind with the unit, and its still going great. I also make Fermented Sauces in it using the "Ferment" setting for the first 24 hours and If making a probiotic sauce I then use the "Fruit Enzyme" setting for the next 96… Read more

hours before transfering to jars and storing in a cupboard to finish the ferment over the next one to two weeks I haven't made any cheese as yet. I.M.H.O. I think it's a great unit and it only looses half a star because the glass fermenting jar doesn't have any built in grip points, so I have to be careful to get a good grip on it when putting it into and removing it from the fermenter. I use that Non-Slip Matting material to help me in that instance. The final product i.e. yoghurt or sauce always turns out good and as I expected. I recommend the unit.

2023 There were instructions & recipes in box! – I’ve made lacto-fermented things in the past without gadgets. I took a gamble & bought this Ambiano fermenter, yoghurt:cheese maker at Aldi. A lot of reviews said “No instructions or recipes in box”. I opened a box at Aldi & there were 3 booklets including a recipe booklet, instructions, warranty etc. So I hoped I could make kimchi instead of… Read more

buying it from Asian grocers. I loved the idea of controlling the chilli content. One tablespoon of gochugaru, not half a cup! Still spicy for me but what I can tolerate. Sterilising everything & prepping the cabbage & ingredients did take time - but from experience- the more you ferment, the more streamlined your processes become. The fermenter has a 72hr timer and in that time it made me a big beautiful batch of kimchi which is now in the fridge. I also made white kimchi (chilli free recipe) the old fashioned way without an appliance & that will need another 7-10 days before it’s ready. This Ambiano appliance lets you have control and you have a consistent temperature which makes things much easier. No regrets buying. I love that I never have to buy kimchi again! Looking forward to making cheese & yoghurt too.

No instructions – It surprised me that this had absolutely no instructions. no printed instructions with the product... And no instructions available for it online. Didn’t know how to use one so had to take it back. Bought one from Kitchen Warehouse instead. It's been great Show details

Best product I have. Saves a lot of money – Product great. Only make Greek yogurt. Recipe says use 100gr of starter yogurt but you only need good tablespoon otherwise it is a lot thinner. I found the best milk to use is full cream long life milk.(Australian off course.). Works great. If you are quick you can get it at discounted price of $29.95. as they are discontinuing it. Show details

so glad I upgraded – I've been using a non electric yoghurt maker for nearly 40 years, and then I saw that this one does nearly 2 litres at once so I took a chance, boy am I glad I did. I've done vinegars, fermenting, SO MUCH yoghurt (we eat a LOT of it) and everything has turned out perfect after following the instructions in the recipe books. BONus that the cord… Read more

is detachable for easy storing and thank you for the extra jar so that I can have two things on the go at once.

Manual and recipes – Hi guys, I was fortunate enough to get the manual and recipe book for my machine and am just trying my first batch of cheese. I could try photographing what I have and putting it on this feed if people want it. Denise

Menu unreadable – Plugged unit in as instructed, tried to select "cheese" menu, only different numbers appear. After several attempts noticed very faint symbols each side of numbers. With a powerfull magnify glass able to just see words of menu. Not very good. Show details

No instructions in the box??? – My brand new, bought in the box from Aldi, machine didn't come with an instruction manual... is that right or is something missing? If it does come usually without a manual then that's a big problem for me. Show details

Love this little yoghurt and cheese maker – I bought this one week ago and have so far made lovely Greek yoghurt and some cheese. I am now planning on making some fruit enzyme and some pickles next week. So simple to use, just make sure you sterilise jars, spoons and strainers with boiling water to reduce any chance of mould or bad bacteria growing instead of the good stuff. Feeling healthier already without all the added sugars in store bought stuff. Show details

Really enjoiyng using the ALDI Ambiano 3 in 1 Fermenter – Really enjoiyng using the ALDI Ambiano 3 in 1 Fermenter, so far I have made Greek Yoghurt, Soft Cheese and now 2 days into developing the Fruit Enzyme. Easy to use though the writing on the recipe selectors is tinny, I need a magnifier then wait for indicated light to scroll through recipe's. Overall loving experimenting. Kimchi and pickes next. Show details
