I’ve been using the Luvele Pure Plus Yogurt Maker (2L Glass Model) for just under a year, making a 2-litre batch of yogurt about once a week. The borosilicate glass container with the airtight silicone lid creates a clean, plastic-free fermenting environment, and the overall design feels simple, thoughtful, and beautiful. What I appreciate most… Read more

is how little hands-on time it requires—about 15–20 minutes of attention—after which I can step away while the machine gently does its work.

The results have been consistently thick and creamy, and the wide range of time and temperature settings makes the process feel flexible and dependable. For me, this yogurt maker has made homemade yogurt feel easy, approachable, and sustainable week after week.

I recently purchased a Luvelle Yoghurt Maker to make l.reuteri fermented "yoghurt". I'm extremely pleased with it. The Maker has accurate temperature settings and the l.reuteri is working out perfectly.

So Simple to Use! – I got perfect yogurt from the very first time I used the Luvele Pure Plus Yogurt Maker. I recommend getting a cooking thermometer which I did so that the milk doesn't boil over. The instructions are clear and it's basically set and forget. I love it! Show details ·  2

i now have two of them – I bought one of these yogurt makers to make biogaia reuteri yogurt. I'm using biogaia protectis and biogaia osfortis as the strains for the yogurt. I found the first luvele yogurt maker to be reliable in not killing the reuteri strains. The customer service from luvele australia is also very good. The luvele people are very friendly and very… Read more ·  1

helpful. I also think this yogurt maker is reasonably priced for the health benefits you can get from making yogurt with it. I have been experimenting with non-dairy and non-coconut milk plant based milks to grow the reuteri strains in (I want a reliable low fat, non gluten, non dairy option in the long term). As the reuteri apparently needs a longer fermentation time, the experimentation process was slow. So I just bought a second luvele yogurt maker. On biogaia's website, I know they grow at least one strain in a barley based medium. Barley isn't gluten free but I'm currently running experiments with growing the strains in homemade barley milk (I'm also adding inulin and lactulose) because I figure biogaia knows more about growing reuteri than I do :-) but these yogurt makers are definitely doing the job. I like the 2 litre glass containers. Consuming these strains has helped with the small intestinal bacterial overgrowth I've been suffering with for the last two years. And making yogurt with these strains using the luvele yogurt makers increases the amount of reuteri I'm ingesting. I've also started feeding it to my dogs :-)

Best Product! – Very happy with my Luvele Pure Plus Yoghurt Maker. Good size, not bulky, great colour, easy to use and clean. Love the 3 temperature settings, 24 hour timer and 2 litre container. Good price and free delivery was a bonus. Have tried different methods and never fails. The videos, recipes and tips are helpful. My yoghurt is thick, creamy and smooth.… Read more ·  1

Not as sour as the unflavoured ones. Don't have to sweeten it and great on the waist. So cheap to make too. At $2.39 for 2 litres of milk. My gut has improved alot. So no more probiotic tablets (expensive). Can't stop eating it. Thank you Luvele for making a great product.

Love the Luvele, so easy to use & makes the best yogurt! – I've made 2x successful batches of coconut yogurt and it is amazing!! It holds the temperature perfectly for the whole 36 hours - as I was checking the temperature sporadically to see if it needed adjustment. I'm so happy with the product, it's so easy to use, effective, compact & easy to clean, I'm stoked. I will be recommending it to all of my clients to help create their own gut-healing yogurt! Show reply

Excellent value for money but with some issues – I have been using my yoghurt maker for a year now and am happy to recommend it. I have tried a range of milks (cow, goat, A2, organic, unpasteurised) and it consistently performs to expectations. I have now settled on a 24hr organic cows milk and it consistently produces a thick creamy flavoursome yoghurt. I haven't tried their starters. If I need… Read more ·  1

a new starter I use some Jalna yoghurt. 1. Although it is capable of making 2 litres of yoghurt at a time I find that the result is far superior if I only do 1 litre at a time. I suspect that the water bath is not deep enough to keep 2 litres of milk at the optimal temperature for 24 hours. 2. All the text has rubbed of the buttons on my unit. This is not a big issue but should be addressed. 3. The unit is plastic but the milk container is glass. The glass feels fragile and would break easily.

Luvele Pure Plus Yogurt Maker LPPYM300WAUS – I have recently bought this machine for yoghurt making and just love it. It makes 2 L at the time. I mainly use powder milk bacause is so convenient. In this way I don't have to go to the shops to buy any ingredients as I use a portion of the previous yoghurt batches as starter (which I keep in the freezer). Since I bought the machine (in May… Read more ·  1

Perfect yoghurt – I have owned my Luvele Yoghurt maker for around 1 year & absolutely love it. Prior to owning it I was using the Easiyo makers & that was tedious as I had to refill with warm water half way through (I ferment my yoghurt for 24 hours) so when I came across the Luvele I thought I'd give it a try & was very impressed with the result. So easy to use &… Read more ·  1

I don't have to worry about the water temp not being right. The other bonus for me is that I could make 2 litres in one go. We consume at least 2 litres of yoghurt every week, so making our own is very cost effective. I also bought 4 small containers that fit so I can also make 4 different flavours at the same time if I want. I can highly recommend the Luvele Yoghurt Maker - I bought mine online from Luvele.com.au

Yoghurt making made easy – I bought this yoghurt maker earlier this year and make about 2 x 2L each and every week. It makes amazing yoghurt, of a very consistent quality. I usually 'process' for 12 hours, but occasionally let it go for 24. It always turns out great. Using long life milk, milk powder, and 'new' yoghurt which has been frozen in 50ml batches, it takes me less… Read more ·  1

L. Reuteri yogurt success – I made the L. Reuteri yoghurt which is tricky. I failed my first batch by heating and over thickening extra cream milk, but tweaked it and got it right second try using a dash of standard yogurt cultures and forgoing the pre-heat. The luvele worked perfectly and the choice of temperature settings is ideal. 24hrs at 38c and just a few biogaia tablets made tasty tangy yoghurt. Show details ·  1

In love!!! – I absolutely love this Luvele 24 hour yoghurt maker. I spent countless hours scouring the internet for a descent yoghurt maker which could meet my needs for GI issues. Great yogurt maker – I am happy with the processing and delivery times. It was an interstate order and it took 5 days including a weekend. The yogurt maker is easy to set up and use and I really like the glass container although the calendar dial on the lid is a little fiddly and will not get much use. I decided to try the “Recipe for the Thickest Tub Set Homemade… Read more ·  1

Exceeded expectations! – In the quest to improve the health of my 5-year old son who has Crohn’s Disease, we have adopted the SCD diet and were desperate to try the 24-hour yoghurt championed by so many people. This product from Luvele has exceeded expectations. It is incredibly easy to use, produces a perfect yoghurt every time and looks great on the bench! Show details ·  1

Perfect – I’m loving my yogurt maker. I pondered over which one to buy, but in the end decided to plump for the one large big container. It was right for our family needs. It’s so simple to use, easy to keep clean, fits well in the kitchen, space wise, and is a joy to use. I’ve always put off making yogurt as thought it must be a bit of a faff, and didn’t… Read more ·  1

know you could buy one large container machines.

I decided to buy your machine as opposed to the cheaper one on the market because I liked the idea of a glass container, not plastic.

I make SCD yogurt from homemade almond milk with a sheep milk starter. It’s a runny yogurt, but perfect for multiple uses and tastes fabulous.

Our favourite kitchen applicance – We love the Pure plus yogurt maker. Not only much better quality and tasting yogurt than store bought but cost effect to boot. Really well thought out design; simple, easy to use, stylish and a perfect sized pot. I enquired about getting a lost seal for the pot and have been very impressed with the service and promptness of reply. Well done! Show details ·  1

Beautiful yogurt – I’m sold. I have had this yogurt maker for a couple of months and it’s used at least x3/month. I’ve chucked out all the other yogurt makers I have as this is the only one for me. I like how it does a big batch, rather than little pots. I like how it makes SCD yogurt, fermented for 24hrs. It’s never failed and is always thick and creamy -… Read more ·  1

tangy-ness depends upon the started you use. I use different cultures, ranging from store bought yogurt (my favourite is Coles Indulgent Greek Style Yoghurt, which is easy and cheap to get in a small pot) to Bulgarian and mild cultures purchased online. Their website is also very helpful, informative and full of good information for your yogurt adventures.

Best Coconut Yoghurt – We love our new yoghurt maker. Our coconut yoghurt is now beautifully thick and creamy with a lovely sour tang to it. We are looking forward to fermenting fruit and other foods now. They only let down was how thin the glass jar was that comes with the machine but have found other jars and pyrex bowls work just as well.  Show details ·  1

Great Yogurt Maker – I'm a first time yogurt maker and found the yogurt maker very easy to use. I purchased this product to make 24 hour yogurt and using organic, unhomogenized, pasturised milk the yogurt has turned out thick and tasty. Looking forward to making cream cheese next. A great size container, I am very happy not to have to wash individual containers.  Show details ·  1

Love my Luvele – I really love the Luvele yoghurt maker I purchased. I actually purchased so I could make my own natto but I have also tried a couple of batches of raw milk yoghurt which turned out delicious. I think I preferred using the smaller containers as it didn't get as much condensation and I can keep them in smaller lots. I also strained some to make cream cheese so yum. Next I will be trying some coconut yoghurt.  Show details ·  1
