criticism: The fact that its containers’ capacity is 400 ml is a design flow in my opinion. Cartons of milk come in a liter. If i make a litre in one batch that’s less than what i need. If i were to open another carton, i’ll have nothing to do with that remaining 400 ml of milk (2*1000-4*400=400). So the capacity of these 4 jars should have been 500 ml. Easy. What led them to decide on 4 of 400 is a mystery to me. Another minor thing is that these sticky tapes that wrap the lid and all as it comes new, don’t come off clean when you pull them out. They leave residue on the surface(these shiny grey threads in them) That was a bit annoying. Btw, manufacturer responds to your emails and all and i can safely state that you can buy it with piece of mind (i would have gone for the other one with a single 2 litre receptacle though, if it was in stock when i bought it)

this would be the right one for us. Beautifully boxed and parceled up, it arrived promptly (its progress having been reported by email daily) and went straight into use. We've used it every day since, and quickly learned how to make thick, creamy whole milk yoghurt, including the 24 hour one. We're very impressed with the machine's subtle styling and simple operation, and the yoghurt is superb. My partner has since bought four more jars, although I'm not quite sure why! The user manual was easy to follow, and we've found the recipes on the website to work well. All told, this is a very classy, superior product, and the communication from the company has been excellent. So, the nearly $100 price (a few $ cheaper from the Luvele eBay shop) now seems more than reasonable.

The Luvele Pure is really well designed and is attractive enough to leave out on my worktop. The ceramic pots are so cute. Even the box it came in was beautiful! It’s easy to use and versatile due to the different incubation and time settings but best of all the first time I used it, the 24 hour yoghurt I made was delicious; creamy, thick and with a lovely mild taste. I used a store-bought organic sheep’s milk yoghurt as my starter which worked very well. I’m looking forward to trying some of the many recipes on the website and also experimenting with dripping the yoghurt to produce labneh cheese and Greek yoghurt.

I’m about to purchase an extra set of jars to make sure I have enough yoghurt on standby as I can’t imagine life without it now!

Love everything about it. It takes the guesswork out of it whether you’re making conventional yoghurt or L reuteri or Lgasseri. A little tip. Plan ahead for what time of day your timer will end. Setting your alarm for 1 or 2 am is not fun. Show details

Not what I was hoping for – I purchased the Luvele Yogurt maker and was so looking forward to homemade yogurt. Followed the instructions to the letter and came back an hour to check if the timer was working - it was. But the water was bubbling away. Update: Luvele contacted me and are sending a replacement out today. That is what I call customer service!

So easy and convenient – I'm so happy with the four pot yoghurt maker. The directions are clear and the process and clean up is simple. The first batch of milk yoghurt was delicious and we've started our second batch. We strained the yoghurt into another container, to thicken it, and I used the whey to make facto-fermented mayonnaise. I will experiment with non-dairy yoghurt next. Thank you!  Show reply

Very happy with my Yoghurt Maker :) – I'm a yoghurt maker novice and wanted to stop buying plastic pots from the supermarket and wasn't quite sure where to start with equipment, etc. I came across this and thought it looked like a great product. I've made this a couple of times now and the yoghurt is wonderful - creamy and firm and delicious...better than any store bought yoghurt. Loving it! So easy to use – I'm making raw yoghurt. I use a spoon on the inside edge to drain the whey then I add cacao powder, vanilla essence, cinnamon, macadamias, blueberries, cacao nibs, stevia drops. It's quite the low carb dessert. I have used another Yoghurt maker before and was never quite happy, hence my investigating further and came across Luvele. powder in two of the pots, as one of the recipes suggest and see what the creamier yoghurt is like..…ie., if I can find organic full cream milk powder. . But I am a convert! The yoghurt I made over a 27hr duration, is, to my surprise, lovely. The consistency is good and flavour really good. Though I think I’ll try 30 hours next time. I used Barambah organic yoghurt as the starter and I think it’s made equally as good yoghurt as theirs…but a little thinner. I’d also like to try the Chia Blueberry yoghurt recipe in your booklet, that sounds fab!

Delighted with our new yoghurt maker – I have been using it every week (a double batch) and my family love the creamy results - even my fussy 6 y o. (We add a little honey and vanilla, with some stewed fruit.) The ceramic containers are practical but also attractive. Excellent product – I'd like to add to the chorus of 5 star reviews. This unit is well-made and very easy to use. I got perfect results the first time I used it, and it's continued to perform. ever tasted. Have not used milk powder or any other special additives, just good quality milk and culture. Have been using it for breakfasts, curries, sauces, dips, and also I feed my dog yoghurt every day, so I go through about 2 litres a week. I figure the machine will pay for itself in about 2 months.

I am also very impressed with quality of the machine, seems very well made, nothing flimsy, the ceramic pots are very attractive and seal well. Easy to operate. Manual is good. Easy to clean.

I couldn't find any cultures to buy in retail stores, finished up buying online. There are a few links to online sellers on Luvele website. A couple I tried delivered by mail in 3 days.
