Great sound for the cost – I have had mine over two years, great sound, plenty of volume . easy to install, good sound for loud music and watching movies, slight lag with some tv shows, would recommend this product.  Show details

Not Worth the Money in the Long Term – The sound was better than what was produced from the speakers on my LG TV but after 2 1/2 years the bass speaker has stopped. Had I spent $100 more I would have had a better more reliable brand. Now I am going to have to donate it to landfill Show details

ASBWS 0719 (July) A box full of rubbish BUT 0919 (Sept) works – I set the 0719 one up for TV. had another model -ASBWS 0919- 2.0 Premium Bluetooth Soundbar. $129. In view of the fact I could return it if it was as bad as the previous one - I took the risk. It works well on optical cable as I could not use the HDMI port as it was required for Foxtel. Sound far better than TV (Sony) Apart from having to turn it on separately from IQ/TV it’s fine. Happy with this one and synch is perfect. It does not have a separate sub-woofer but still gives a far better sound than TV I am happy with product and price.

Not bad for price – Really needed a soundbar as our tv speakers were shocking. It has great sound for what it costs. Unfortunately we couldn't connect via HDMI so it's connected by optical so you lose some quality but it still better than tv. Sometimes we have lag with the audio to video but it hardly happens just turn it on and off and it's then fine. Show details

Junk: I took it back – The optical input had a terrible lag behind the video. Analogue lagged less but didn't sound as good. I tried all the TV settings and could not correct it enough to matter. After a couple of weeks the right speaker developed a vibration that was getting steadily worse so I took it back for a refund. Show details

speakers are on the floor - needs to be eye leve of you to see the little lights. - Subwoofer was delayed when playing songs on youtube - might be a youtube thing. - Subwoofer would sometimes get signal even though it was right next to main speakers.

Overall: I don't recomment. Returned the unit after about a week. The auto turning off turing movie was the last straw.

For $129 you can’t go wrong – Disappointment was my initial emotion when it came to this product. But please, give it a chance. Set up was a breeze just plugged it in and it worked. reason. I given it a failure on this count. went back to 2016 bauhn single sound bar, the original, connected via Bluetooth and worked perfectly! so progress is backwards. nb wireless woofer linked in ok. SO it has to go back......

Good but with faults – When attaching it to a wall mounted Samsung TV with an optical cable the sound was improved however we experienced fade in and out that made it unacceptable. Selecting either of the two EQ options did not correct it and in fact we did not notice any discernible differences in the sound settings. clear sound, rather than lots of bass. I got this soundbar today and it is delivering in spades. I can understand every word. A huge improvement on the speakers in my (quite high-end Sony) TV. Excellent value. Also, no problems setting up. On the issue of durability, of course, it's too soon to say.

Very poor item all round - big disappointment from Aldi – Never had any problems with Aldi products previously. But this sound bar - dreadful! nearly 3 hours following the so-called easy installation instructions - dreadful! Having no luck, I then paid a TV expert to assist with set up - even he was beat. Luckily, he only charged me a small fee. The instructions did not match the sound bar - could not get a 'green' light to show. Instructions just dreadful. Taking it back for a refund. Have used sound bars elsewhere, and noted how easy they were to set up and use. Not this one.
