very long, and my last tv (sony) lasted me 9 years.. perhaps you do get what you pay for. I'm now not sure how long I've got before I've got no tv. And right in time for Christmas school holiday too. Very disappointing.

Poor service and poor quality – Brought it October 2022 and come early January 24 the picture just stops as per photo. Checked with a friends tv to make sure it wasn't the cable or another issue. they could go further. So the following week I organised a family member with a vehicle capable of taking it back. Was then told that it was 3 months out of warranty. Do they really expect a $700 tv to only last 15 months. Would not buy another one or any large purchase from them again.

Lines across screen that got progressively worse – Such a disappointment! Started working as a normal tv would. Then the screen started to get fuzzy lines after about 15mths. When I called to speak to support I was told it was just "disturbances from the network". The lines started getting worse and worse and now there is no screen at all, just volume. doesn't allow app download. So basically it's like a smartphone with only a calling feature and a non-usable app store. Coming to picture quality you would also be disappointed as even the quality of Full HD TV channels doesn't look crisp and sharp. It is the cheapest TV in its range so be prepared to get what you paid for. I think it is good for a household that wants to get rid of the habit of watching TV.

Tv not worth for $799 – Bought this tv on sep,2021. After 7 months of use a few thin lines would appear on the tv. It would disappear eventually. Purchased the latest Bauhn 70” 4K smart tv with Samsung apps. TV lasted nearly 4 weeks before the screen turned black – Worst 70” TV I ever bought, lasted only 4 weeks before it failed... our Bnb and get this one as a "Linden" 65 4k I bought from Good Guys Malaga (low end TV admittedly), crapped out after 4 weeks, then, when I went to claim warranty and the receipt had faded out to be unreadable, they refused to honour the warranty (they could have searched my purchase transaction..). Anyhow, this TV is STELLAR! I suspect (possibly wrongly) it is out the back door of the LG Factory it's that good, and it uses an LG Operating System which works amazingly well and quickly.. Firstly, the response rate to channel changes and web apps, Netflix etc is near instantaneous and we are connecting via inbuilt wifi rather than even faster ethernet port option), unlike Bauhn 65" we had that was laggy & basic. Secondly, it runs LG's inbuilt "webOStv" as an operating system which is the best Smart TV system I've experienced. A simple QR Code in the Manual downloads this via Android or iOS Store. We have Apple TV on the Samsung TV in the bedroom and the voice recognition and ease of use on this runs rings around it.. Thirdly, with Auto Updates switched on the OS and Apps auto update from the 1st usage seemlessly Fourthly, the Remote is possibly, no, undoubtedly the best I've experienced. The voice command on it is near faultless, from searching for movies to show me "channel 9 HD Gem" and it goes right to it. It has a scroll wheel & circular navigation disc in the Remote center that activates a mouse pointer on screen for super easy selection. Fifthly, the speakers are good enough for no sound bar.. the Bauhn 65" had the tiniest, crappiest speakers, but these are good. Obviously a quality Sound Bar would be better, as on any TV, but not essential. Sixthly, I'm still discovering what this TV can do. I've bought a plethora of cheap TV's, so know my crap... :), but I'm convinced this is a this is a flagship TV hidden in a Generic Brands clothing & price tag. Seventhly, the picture quality seems very good and super clear, with crisp, fast refresh, but I'm sure there are probably better high end OLED types for big money.. Negatives... This TV is so good it has spoiled me and I'll never be able to go back to low end crap now I know how good it can be.. I half pie think the negative reviews on here are GdGuy Sales Agents trying to flog Lindens... ;)

Essentially an LG 4K Smart TV for $799 – I bought this purely to return it when i didnt like... And im trying not to like it But it has blown me away!!! Comes with the same Operating System LG use... transmissions will not look great, but HD (1080) is fine... 4K YouTube is beautiful

Unlike other ALDI TVs, this has great Sound (no need for a sound bar) In fact, sound as as good as my Samsung TV, but will never be as good as now 20 year old Sony Bravia with foarward facing speakers.

I can cast video from my windows laptop (noting to set up, it just happens) I can cast videos from my smartphone, once again, it just does it

The remote control is great, simple layout, it BT as well as IR, so no need to be pointing it at the TV.

I have only just scratched the surface of what this TV can do.... And i wanted to hate it.... ALDI have really stepped up thier game with this one.

picture, and it does it well. We've run 4K streams onto it which have looked amazing. The TV itself looks great, too. The only con I can detect is that there is occasional backlight bleeding, but this only happens on menu screens, as far as i've seen. I love the remote for it's great aesthetics, design, feel and quality. It has a scrolling wheel which I love, and a mouse pointer that moves according to where it's pointed. It also has voice recognition! The printed braun logo is already rubbing off, but I will be very surprised if it happens elsewhere. The sound is quite good, but has no bass and so will need an external sound system to deliver that (but it's still much better than I expected). I can't comment on how well it works regarding Free Live TV, as I do not watch it. I prefer to stream Live TV from their corresponding apps, and can at least guarantee that it does that well. The TV has a 6 star genergy rating, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The settings options are good. Connectivity seems to work very well.

Overall, I consider this TV to be excellent value for money and a great buy, just don't expect the quality of a $2000+ TV. I will update this if anything with the TV goes wrong in the future. (Pls no judgement on the makeshift TV unit, we're moving house xD)

Horrible, 2 TVs two problems – First tv from also was a 60 inch bauhn non smart, remote broke and wouldn't play videos via USB properly, couldn't adjust aspect ratio. This time got the 70 inch smart webos tv March 2021 model. 8 dead pixels.. 1 blue 1 green 1 red and 5 black. Looked like trash. Got a refund on both. I'm proper scared to buy a new tv now due to these experiences.  Show details
