ALDI Gardenline Leaf Grabbers

Purchased about 4 months ago, but didn't get to use them until last week. thought that they would be more efficient than the previous design as they had a far larger capacity. I was wrong. Basically one grabber cracked on both sides the very first scoop of leaves I went to pick up, and the other cracked in the same location on the second scoop. As you can see from the photos they look unused. A complete waste of money that I see are being sold by a range of online sellers for up to $28 AUS. If I'd been able to locate the receipt, I would have taken them straight back, but sadly only good for landfill.
