ALDI Slow Cookers

Happy Camper with my old trusty Aldi Slow Cooker – I bought a lonely little all-white 3lt Lumina Slow cooker about 10 years ago that became my best handy cooking kitchen buddy. It was the last on-the-shelf Sale at $7.48 couldn't miss it at that price, although I was not looking for one, ( I was sharing an old crockpot very happily with my next-door daughter)and there she sat waiting for me I… Read more
guess. We had the best cooking relationship and still going, as decent-sized Beer Bread last night, and a chicken Aldi boneless roll tonight. I have made Congee and casseroles of all types, even small lamb shanks. Soups and stews galore. Not a worry ever, ( unless it was 'my problem' not following the recipe properly, not hers) although recently her lovely white ceramic insides have been showing some fine dark lines here and there, is she cracking up? I hope not. I take care to balance the temperatures with the pottery by not cleaning the heated bowl until cooler. Makes sense? For comparison: I have a 4.5 lt that was $150 something Sunbeam with a Teflon searing inner pot I wanted for easy use and timers, which I find I detest as it has never cooked correctly, although timers work usually cook on high when programmed for low and if it gets a little scratch on the coating you have to replace the bowl, no way!!..... Moving on, I have also a $45 6lt Anko (heavy)for larger meals with settings. It is not often used due to the weight! !! I will weep when my trusty little Aldi Lumina Slow Cooker dies all the same. Do they still make them as well? Queen of the Slow Cookers.. and only one of me to cook for now too ..oh well
Set meal 6hrs low before work luckily checked before I left 35min in and burnt black on the bottom.. top barely warm! – Dangerous appliance and left wondering how it made the shelves? Show details
worked for 20 minutes and then made smoke and stopped – I now have my casserole on the stove hoping it will be done on time. I liked the idea of the 3 pots, but am stunned at how it only lasted not half an hour. Do they not test thee things before shipping? I was a big fan, I have their dishwasher, mower, coffe machine and air fryer, very happy, but this even feels cheap and nasty. Show details

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! – This is a wonderful product. The three size pot option is wonderful and caters for every need. I like the option for turning it on at a designated time and turning it off at a designated time. the warm option is great as well. As far as the cost went for this product, it was on the clearance table in my local Aldi, and I purchased it this year… Read more · 1
in January 2022. Like all slow cookers, the pot gets hot and so does the lid. The only thing that is missing is that you cannot put the pot straight onto the stove top. I have a 10 litre slow cooker that I can do that with and brown the meat prior to slow cooking. Great product, it was only $59.95. Worth every penny. If I see another one, I will buy it as a gift for a 21st, engagement, Wedding etc.
The perfect slow cooker! – I love this very efficient user-friendly cooker....but I have lost the little booklet that came with it. This had my fav tomato sauce recipe....can anyone help me with this? Cheers R Show details · 1
Love it – I love my slow cooker, gives 3 size options. I’ve found that the buttons lose the print so have trouble remembering what button is for what bowl, that’s what lead me to this page Show details

Worked fine until it caught FIRE! – Had it since 2014 and use it once a month tops. Just yesterday we had been using it for 4 hours and smoke was coming out from beneath and the button lights were flickering...I peeked the small holes that serve as vents below and could see flames! Thank God I was working from home just 5 metres away...In the past we would turn this on and leave the… Read more
house for several hours....this could have burned the house down...will never get an Aldi cooking appliance again (been shopping there since 07), not worth the risk.....I dont mind it dying...but burning before it dies? never again.

Best slow cooker I have ever had – I use my slow cooker for stews, roasts, cakes and making fudge. Love it. Best slow cooker I have ever owned. Love the timer and that the settings are digital Show details
Love it! – I have had my slow cooker I purchased from Aldi for 3 years or more and still works perfectly. It may not have a timer or click over to warm like I read on some other models, but really like the 3 different bowls. Much better than another slow cooker I purchased.
3in1 slow cooker ambiano – so far I can not fault this cooker and I like the 3 different size pots which gives a good range for the size of the meal being cooked in it Show details

The best designed slow cooker – I use a slow cooker for lamb shanks, beef cheeks. I cook for 3-15 people at any given time. The thought that had gone into the design of this slow cooker is awesome! In that it caters for three sizes of cooking ceramic pot capacity. The results are perfect every time, cleaning is simple as is storage. You can’t go past this Kuchef Slow Cooker. Show details
good deal – i have had this for about 14months now and find the 3 bowls great for different reasons but the food is really good and tasty .The only complaint I have is that the lid shattered while cooking meal was ruined and since talking to others have a few say they have had this happen the new lid cost me $20 Show details
Works ok but too big for our family – I haven't had any trouble with this since my partner bought this home from aldi. Problem is it's so big when you cook a small meal in it the meal gets dried out easily and is nowhere near the succulent meal you expect from a slow cooker - plus it takes too much space in my small kitchen Show details
3 bowl sizes, great idea – This product is my new best friend. I use it as often as I can and the best feature is the 3 bowl sizes. Perfect for any size of cooking. Only thing I can fault about this item is the bowls are deep and not wide. heats and cooks evenly and effortlessly. Should of bought one sooner. Show details
I gave my daughter one of this, and she had to discard – As I said i gave my daughter one of this and she had to discard this in the garbage, it only worked once and the rest, was not working at all, I dont know if it was bad luck or simple as not working anymore. But in future will not buy this brand, just in case Show details
Cooks well. Cleaning? Not as easy – It cooks the food well. But it always to seem like it has a strange whitish colour after cleaning the ceramic cook pot itself. I cant seem to get it off. Like a coating of some kind is what it looks like. Unless I bought a dud. Hope not, really hope not. Show details
Got this as a present – Lovely slow cooker, first for me and I love that I can use a smaller bowl when that is an option. Its great, easy to clean, except the base, the metal is a matt finish, and its a little harder, but nothing over the top. I would seek this out to purchase it again if something should happen to this one. I have owned it just over a year and a half, and its the same now as it was when I got it. Show details
Love the 3 different bowl sizes! Versatile slow cooker! – I had a 5 litre slow cooker and it was just a bit too big.. This model has a 3, 4 and 5 litre bowls that fit in the one base so it is great for small or large cooks. Heats evenly and cooks everything as it should. Some great recipe ideas come with it. Great product overall. Show details
Slow cooking – Heats evenly, with an even heat, easy to use. Good recipe in product brochure, easy to read and follow. Easy to set up, with minimum effort. Ideal for working couples, families or singles. This is because you have 3 different bowls, very handy for small or large families, even singles as you choose the right bowl to suit your needs. Very Simple, Reliable and Versatile – Have had this for 9 Months and always Cooks up a treat. The three different sized bowls make for versatile volume cooking. Only negative...is that the steel outer surface can be hard to clean.
My lid exploded also – Last night whilst the Lumina slow cooker had one hour to go, I heard a loud pop whilst I was in the kitchen. Fortunately I was on the opposite side of my kitchen, I turned immediately to see the lid had exploded and our dinner had the lid knob and shattered glass fall into the cooking meal. Glass had also shattered across the kitchen bench top. I… Read more
was disappointed firstly: no dinner on a cold night that had been cooking slowly for 4 hours and secondly, that it was an Aldi product and therefore backed by a certain level of reliability. The cooker had only been used about 6 times.
Glass lid shattered – Glass lid shattered and propelled glass all over my kitchen. Aldi were very quick to refund me. But I think the product needs to be recalled. I had used it about 10 times in 3 years without any issues but this one time was horrible. Thank goodness myself and my daughter were in the other room.
Lid shattered also!!! – Had the slow cooker for AGES and loved it. Went to use it one morning and the glass lid had shattered in the cupboard. Now I know what the muffled bang was I heard the night before - I put it down to something falling in the pantry. Looking for a replacement slow cooker at the moment, so thought I'd check the reviews to see if anyone else had… Read more
problems with the lid. Reading here it seems like 99.9% had the same problem. Such a shame, as I really liked it - heated perfectly and was a great size.
Finally got around to buying another slow cooker - the 5L one from Woolworths. Love it
Awesome slow cooker – Such a great SC. Really effective and good settings. The high cooks quickly but not too hot, the low is good too. Bought it second hand two years ago and would use it 3 times a week minimum, it's still going very strong.
Lack of customer service, poor quality, glass lid shattered – Slow cooking was okay, did not burnt food or seen overflow of liquid whilst slow cooking. The only problem is the lid, the glass lid shattered whilst I was cooking food. Temperature was not nothing different from previous times I used it. Went to Aldi's Quakers Hill to report as it was 6 months old back then. I was told to contact supplier but has… Read more
not heard from them either. I wrote to Aldi's and made a complaint and no response was receive nor an acknowledgement of receipt was sent. I had other products bought from Aldi's and has similar experience......poor customer service, lack of quality control, risk management is unheard of as they are still selling these items though poor reviews and complaints were posted or emailed. I stopped buying products from Aldi's since then. They don't deserve the business. You get what you paid for Should have bought trusted products elsewhere
Lumina slow cooker – Best slow cooker we have had. Had other brands and elements in base burnt out. I like the different size bowls, the large is great for soups and lamb shanks. The bowls are easy to clean also the stand if any food spills over.Have never had a problem with the lid. Have had the slow cooker for about 1 year. Different size bowls
great slow cooker – I have had this slow cooker for about 2 years and never had a problem with it. I usually use the high setting to cook things for dinner and love to be able to set and forget. Great results and for the price it easily matches some of the more expensive slow cookers I have tried over the years. inexpensive, 6L capacity
Best Slowcooker ever! – I have my 'Aldi Slow cooker' now since almost 6 month and I am using it 3 to 4 times per week. I purchased a fantastic slow cooker receipe book fr Target with dishes that are delicious...never had dried out food. So far no issues with the lid....that would be a great loss.... Size, ease of use, timer Nowhere to be found to how many degrees it actually heats up on the different settings Show reply
So far, so good (knock on wood) – I have had my slow cooker from Aldi for about 2 months now and used it 5 times. I have kept it on low for almost all my cooking and the food has turned out great. Thankfully, my lid has not exploded (yet?). I am very nervous based on all the other reviews, but really like the digital settings and size. I have done 2 curries, a chicken bake,… Read more · 2
soup and chilli. No issues at all to report thus far, but I am certainly wary and won't leave it on when I go out b/c of the other reviews. Very gentle with the lid too. Digital option with low, high and warm plus timer.
LID EXPLODED – Used if for a week or two - fantastic. Large capacity, great lamb shanks, turkey legs, osso bucco, all good. Great winter food. BUT went to get it out of the cupboard to use again - opened the cupboard - didn't even touch it - the lid exploded into hundreds of pieces. Sharp pieces. VERY DANGEROUS PRODUCT. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE RECALLED. Was big and worked well for a week. DANGEROUS - lid exploded randomly.
Does anybody know where you can buy new lids from?
Dead after 3yrs. Used it last week no problem, now it is a waste of bench space
Burnt my food – i used my for the first time today and it burnt my food after only a few hours. Thank god i did not leave it on while i was out Show details
