Absolutely useless – Bought from ALDI special buys early 2022. Had not used it until today Leaks water, empties the tank in under 5 minutes, makes a lot of "I'm a steammop" noises, saturates the pad with warmish water but there's no steam. Absolute junk. Nothing disappoints like an ALDI special buy when it disappoints.

$70, works better than my dead $300 hoover steam mop – $70, works better than my (now dead) $300 hoover steam mop. The water tank is small, but I can steam most of the house tiles on one tank (4Bedroom 70s house). The soap dispenser is a foot actuated "water pistol" that sprays some soap in front. Pros: Cheap Lots of accessories included Converts to a handheld steamer It gets hot nice and fast… Read more

Doesn't dump water everywhere Drys fast Pads held on with velco (might be a con in the long run) Very long cord Large steam head size Didn't break first go - keep expectations in check.

Cons: Very light construction "Water pistol" type soap dispenser is a bit "meh".

This is the worst steam mop and should not be allowed to be sold – Uneven floor cleaning. Tipped the steam mop over and it broke apart. Cord length and pads were poor. Weak inferior product very disappointing! Be warned do not buy this product.  Show details

All the cleaning ladies love it – Have had the Lumina steam mop for some time & have found it to be reliable & easy to use, I find that it will do the whole house on one tank of water & have never had any leakage problems the pads are a little thin compared to other mops but they are cheap to replace.

Never really had a problem with this – I've never really had a problem with this machine . Though it's the first steam mop i've owned it has performed really well for the last six months . The pads wear out a little faster than I thought they would, but they are easily replaceable from online stores like crazy sales.com you can buy a pack of 10 for like $25 Steam mop itself… Read more

doesn't seem to have any problems, although it tends to leave perhaps a little more water than expected on the floor. Though no more than regular mopping. It also has a habit of toppling over if you don't balance it correctly when standing it up.

All in all I can't complain I was lucky to get this on sale as it was the last one in store and it has done a good enough job for a very large area of my house .

Ah Lumina! I worked it out and wow!! – At first I thought "so cheap! Well I get what I pay for". BUT!! Unfortunately lumina does not give accurate instructions and just before I was going to use it in my own javelin throwing Olympic competition I worked out that there's a method to this unique tool. Once going, well WOW - perfect! And wish I could have reviews this earlier (it remained unopened in box helping keep my overstuffed closet closed). Cheers!

Had it 6 months. Tank cracked in several places – I bought the steam mop because my previous one worked so well for several years. I knew the new one would work just fine. It did until a month ago (I bought it less than a year ago) when I noticed that tank was cracked when I filled it. Show details

Leaking water from water tank – The first 2 uses is was great. Bought it to steam the carpets to kill dust mites due to being allergic to them. The third time the water tank leaked badly. Will be taking it back tomorrow to get a refund as I now don't have confidence in the product. Show details

Disappointed with Aldi Easy Home Steam Mop – Cleaned well, for five uses, water tank not large enough. Stopped steaming probably because filter detached from water tank and wouldn't fit back. All fittings lose. Returned to Aldi, who promptly refunded money.  Show details

It's going back tomorrow – Initially, this was great and cleaned my floors really well. I found it much more sturdy than my previous steam mop and it seemed better made, however yesterday without warning, when I turned it on, it tripped our electricity supply. I tried it in another socket, thinking maybe it was a problem with that particular socket, but the same thing… Read more

Drowning in water all over the floor – I bought this about a year ago for my daughter who never used it so she gave it back to me. It worked excellent the first three times then it began to be more and more each time which was only three. Cheap steam mop that doesn't work – Used twice. Second time tried to clean bathroom floor; motor just gurgled a few times bursts of steam intermittently; steamer did not work, kept referring to the manual must be something I am not doing correctly. No checked everything. First time I used it went OK. too much water. Used squeeze mop to clean up all the water. Worst product I have bought from ALDI.  Show details

You get what you pay for – It leaves water everywhere as if i have used a normal mop. Doesn't work like a steam mop at all. Dont fall for the cheap price. First time ever bought an Aldi product. Terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Pay a little extra and get a good one instead.  Show details

Very disappointed – Bought the mop before Xmas. Worked well at first and loved the way it cleans everything. It heats up and motor running but no steam come out. Tried to clean the lime build up but there was none. Did not keep receipt so I guess $30.00 went to the garbage.

Water leaks – I believe same product rebranded as easyhome. I purchased this last week and returned back to Aldi again. Thanks Aldi, I got refund back. Don't waste your time to return this again. Yes. Below comments are true. It is leaking lot of water and had to wait next day until it get dry.

Tiles left looking like a wadding pool – Water all over the place, the water runs out of the water holder all over the floor before I connect it to the steamer. Then when cleaning there is water running all over the floor, I have to use a mop to clean it up. The floor is extremely slippery and takes a long time to dry then left all streaky and spotty my tiles are shinny ones. Wish I had never purchased this steam mop

Great performance - what a difference! – Been using Aldi steam mop for months with no problems. Tonight it was buzzing & no steam was coming out. Solution was easier than I imagined. Remove water canister and reposition it firmly in placed. Buzzing gone & instant steam. My floors are considerably cleaner after use. No mop & bucket cannot perform as well.

Looks like the same model they have sold in the UK - Its just as bad here – Failed after 2 uses and 2 weeks. It powers up and heats up but delivers no steam.TEMPO, the Aldi suppliers say a new machine is required but they hold no spares or spare machines despite it carrying a 3 year warranty. ..You can rest assured in the knowledge that as well as your 3 year parts and labor (sic) warranty you have the added peace of mind of dedicated helplines and WEB support” You can rest assured its useless - its going back.

Aldi Sterline Steam Mop March 2015 – Sigh. Assembled the mop - washer missing. Its on the handle so didn't think this was critical. Filled water reservoir to well below fill line. It is now leaking all over my floor. This thing will not be turned on and returned to Aldi for a refund. Don't bother buying this product.

Useless. Stops after a few minutes and needs 3 hours to restart – Bought a 'Stirling' branded steam cleaner at Aldi before Christmas. Tried it out for the first time in mid-Feb and found it's a real dud. First use it ran for about and hour then just stopped. Called 'customer service' at the maker/importer (Tempo) and was advised to give it 3 hrs to reset. Also was advised of a very time-consuming and complicated… Read more

refund procedure if it goes back to the manufacturer. Tried again after 3 hrs and it ran for about twelve minutes. This time tried Aldi and found its defenses almost impenetrable - waited 10 minutes on their 'customer service' and never had a hint someone was going to answer. My advice - don't buy a steam cleaner from Aldi regardless of how it's branded.

Junk!! – Don't be stupid! Don't waist your money. Something so simple and you got it wrong, now I'm left with a piece of rubbish! The reservoir only allows <5mins of use before needing to refill. Once refill, it takes another 3mins to get to full pressure and steam before adequate for use. Leaves water beads requires mopping or water marks if 10mins to… Read more

lumina steam cleaner – What a pile of rubbish. It worked for short time then stopped after refilling and changing attatchment head. Admittedly when it did work it wasnt too bad, not great, but OK. Bought and returned same day. This product needs to be recalled. Should have known when checkout lady told me to make sure I kept the receipt. steam cleaning kills germs without chemicals it didnt work after a half hours use

Very disappointed – I hoped it would be a good budget steam mop, I was wrong. I took one home from aldi, setup per instructions.... And this is how the next 5-8 mins panned out. noticed had gone out and now a strong plastic burning smell was emitting from it still no steam water still dripping out cold. So, I tried switching trigger but unit keeps humming meaning the control trigger is now not working aswell as the indicator light. I decided at this point it isn't going to work, I went to switch off at the power point and got a massive shock from it an electrician tested the house and found no fault. So I returned it to the store and told them this story. They weren't concerned about the incident or apologising just refunded the money. However the staff member told me nearly all the units they sold got returned with various problems within two days of been sold. Cheap Chinese unreliable rubbish, should never been on market In this country, shame on our australian safety standards allowing this to happen!!! Enough said.......

Never made steam, almost electrocuted me, very dangerous, Chinese cheap rubbish!!!

Lumina Steam Mop – Bought about a year ago. Worked well for about 8 months. Replaced under warranty as amount of steam reduced significantly. Replacement also worked well for a few months before steam volume reduced making it hard to push. Only uses about 100 mil for 20-25 minutes where as handbook suggests the 800 mil tank will run our in same time. Cheap and worked well Steam production reduced making it hard to push.

Pleasantly surprised – I had never used a steam mop until I received this one for free. The first time I used it I was going to do just one room. corners and walls. It even has an adapter for carpets. The power cord is a bit short, but nothing an extension lead can't fix. I can't buy replacement cloths which is a shame, but I can make a pattern and make some from old towels for myself. If you can't sew, you could always wrap an old towel or nappy around the head and tie it up. I'm impressed. It left the floors feeling very clean and was so easy to use. Power cord not long enough.

Bad – Purchased 2 years ago $40 Aldi spend a few bucks more & get something decent. It leaks water, does not clean well at all, hard to push around, cord too short & now to purchase additional cleaning pads they are $10 each + postage $15 however this exact model is now on sale at coles for $39 if you happen to love it.
