So much better than the Dyson Stick Vacuum
Many many years ago we spent a lot of money on a new Dyson. We loved it but when we used another brand of vacuum on holidays, we realised that our Dyson was maybe not as good vs the competition as we thought. Food for thought.
Cut to 2020/2021. We thought we’d invest in a V11 last year. Great vacuum but I was getting sick of carrying it up and down the stairs. So I bought an Easy Home stick vacuum today from Aldi. Less than a 10th of the price of the Dyson. Well I’m THRILLED. It performs as well on our tiled floor and carpet. It has a one yea...
Read morer warranty in case there are issues. But THE BIGGEST BONUS BY FAR - it is far quieter than the Dyson. Vacuuming is now bliss. It does feel slightly less robust in hand but does the job as well as the Dyson! Plus the battery life is exceptional. I vacuumed for over half an hour. I’m sold! Love the on/off switch as well, the charging light and the wand is awesome, too. Will sell my V11 and buy another one of these (if I can get one).Purchased in January 2021 at ALDI for $99.00.

Buy of the year
It does an amazing job.....we have an another vacuum of same type.....paid $375 and it has been great .... THOUGH....the ALDI 2 in 1 stick vacuum cost $ 69 is equally as good ....it is also really easy to empty and has a superior filter system......we have one up and the other downstairs....time will tell but for the price the aldi stick vacuum is a winner and would make a great family gift as well.. it is used on 50 50 plush pile carpet and tiles ....l clean the filter every second use and it takes no time at all.....love it u u7

Back to the shop.
Purchased for us Christmas 2020. On 2nd use, will only turn on from removable section not handle, brush won't spin, no led light. Will be taking it back.
Hard floors good, carpet not good. It's a shame really.
Unless it's just ours, I would recommend you buy something else!

You get what you pay for
Carpet & timber floor, well it worked ok for 2 cleans and that was that, it wouldn’t charge despite trying 6 times.
Took it back to Aldi, no problem with getting a refund Aldi were very good & refunded without query.

It works great
I mainly use this for my room vacuum which has carpets, so far it works great without any trouble. I love how convenient to clean my room with this. Highly recommended to anyone.

What a great lightweight vacuum cleaner
This vacuum cleaner clearly does the job.
Its got plenty of suction power - especially in turbo mode and that spinning brush head lifts up dust that other vacuum cleaners leave behind.
Make no mistake - this does not replace your big, heavy duty vacuum cleaner though it might for a rented room or small apartment. It great for a quick interim vacuum like vacuuming heavy use areas such as entrance ways and hallways.
The dust cannister and filter are very easy to clean and there is reasonable dust capacity for a lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner.
Of course you can always use it as a hand held vac as well and it also comes with a brush head that is tucked away just under the inlet.
I give it the thumbs up

Surprisingly Impressive
This purchase was our second cordless handheld, our first a Dyson v11.
What a surprise - it performs nearly as well for 7% of the price of the Dyson.
It comes with a powered head and boost power cycle for different surfaces, light to carry, last 40 minutes on a full power clean and only takes 50 minutes to fully charge. Its lightweight, and has become the instrument of choice for our daughter who now finds it easier to keep her room clean - I would have paid anything for that behavioural change, but this instrument only costed $99.
If more come to market, I will be in there like flint...

Terrible
Wasn’t expecting too much for the price however after a couple of uses some of the parts in the cleaning head ripped off and battery all but completely died. When trying to use it would last only 1-2mins and t he n turn off.

Wonderful portable and versatile vacuum cleaner.
More than happy with this vacuum cleaner. Just clean the filter regularly.
Why pay over $1000 for a dyson unit when you can pick up this gem for just under $100.
Aldi continue to deliver the goods.
Thoroughly recommended.

Awesome product for the price!!!
Works well and the battery last a pretty long time considering the size of my house. Seems to pick up everything with little fallout. Good for a quick vacuum over the house each day.

Ordinary
We bought this thinking we'd be impressed by its quality (as we'd had the robot room cleaner and loved it). But we found it's really only a surface cleaner. The light on the front is great. The two levels of suction power is good, but we'd really hoped for better suction overall.

Aldi 2 in 1 cordless vacuum
I purchased this in March 2019 it continually slows down during use and sometimes cuts out. The Turbo turns off. I'm over it and are taking it back. Otherwise it's a good vacuum.

Don't purchase
Over 12 months but hardly used on carpet ..... then motor made noise and just packed up. Would not recommend as I've had other vacuums last for years and still working. Yes, they cost $300 and the stirling stick $100. Now have to throw it out ......no wonder we have problems with landfill!

Worked perfectly for 12 months til just out of warranty
This stick cordless vacuum cleaner was perfect for those between major clean clean ups it had a small hand held vacuum cleaner also attached to the main appliance could be used for those tricky spots . It was rechargeable. Just out of warranty it started playing up by showing it was fully charged and then just running for less than a minute and indicating a flat battery. As it was just a few weeks out of warranty I contacted Aldi where I had purchased it who referred me to another number which I assume was the importer with no success. I am c...
Read moreurrently referring my complaint to the ACCC. The importer (?) said you only paid $100 and it was not expected to last much more than that. I'm sorry but I have other appliances purchased for much less than $100 still going for up to a decade. I would have been OK with getting 3 years out of it as I know rechargeable batteries may not last . Would not purchase this or other branded products of this name unless the warranty was 3 years and even then would think seriously.Find out how ALDI Stick Vacuums compares to other Stick & Cordless Vacuum Cleaners

Easy Home (Aldi) 2-in-one cordless vacuum cleaner
I have found this to do a good job but I have not used any other stick vacuum cleaner so cannot compare it. As usual for the products Aldi sells, it is most excellent value at $99.99.
The handpiece removes easily. It has a short pullout nozzle on the handpiece so won't reach awkward tight spots but I don't know one that does. That's a job for the 'old' dustpan and brush.
The brush for carpets is relatively easy to remove by pushing on the black lever from the back towards the front (can be a little tricky until you get the hang of it...

Aldi Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaner
My Samsung bagless vacuum failed (only a power cable) but instead of repairing I bought the Aldi machine. With 3 years warranty and Aldi's easy return policy it is a no risk proposition. My Samsung was the best machine I've ever owned but at somewhere near $500 compared to $99.99 for the Aldi I think it was worth a try. The machine is straightforward with on off switch on the body, skinny and not so long retractable power cord and easy and typical fittings with an assortment of 4 nozzles, telescopic pole and clip out dust collector. No specia...
Read morel power heads or anything, then again not much to have to fuss with as far as attachments go. Those powerheads wind in hair and fabrics and their operation gets knotted up. It's a very strong sucker and will lift your rugs and grip to your wooden floor. It will remove your dust too. There is a suction regulator on the handle of the hose attachment to reduce this force but it isn't quite enough to work perfectly. It probably works much better on a thick carpet than my rugs on wooden floors which it wants to drag along. It did a great job on the car upholstery and attached floor carpet. It is more powerful than the Samsung. There is a washable filter inside the dust collector. The collector is unclip and dump but unlike my well designed Samsung the dirt gets trapped around the filter inside the collector and you have to fuss around a bit to clear it. The Samsung has a filter separated from the dust collecting capsule so the dirt just tips out effortlessly. I might make some modification to reduce the power, maybe drill a small hole in the attachment head and see if that makes it better so it doesn't drag my rugs around. My conclusion not bad at all and much better than any other cheap vacuum I've bought in the past. Not many products offer a 3 year warranty either. 4 stars cause it's value for money but in typical Aldi style you might find one in the store this week and you won't see the product again until 6 months later.chaauGreater Melbourne (Inner), VIC

Battery is not charging after 2 months
Bought this vacuum stick a couple of months ago and now it almost completely died. On the first week it worked ok - 20-30 minutes run from a single charge. Then, after about a couple of weeks the run time started to decrease gradually. Now - it is enough for exactly 10 seconds (it is not a joke - 10 seconds on a full charge - I timed it).
This is just so wrong: a two months old appliance to degrade that fast.
The reason I gave it 2 stars is because the refund process was straightforward. I called the number on the warranty form and they ...
Read moreagreed to refund it straight away. I guess, they already knew about this fault from different customers. The vacuum stick itself deserves a strong 1 star rating. I do not recommend this vacuum stick to anyone.Questions & Answers
