Does not have much suction power and handle is very hard between my thumb and index finger, I now have red mark. I used it on our carpet and nowhere else. It bought Wednesday 28/01/2026 and the options only went to 2021 Show details

I've had my Aldi stick vaccumn for maybe a year. I've tried to love it but unfortunately it's over for me. So tempramental, it only takes a bit of hair to jam up, so l'm contantly removing fibres from the brush head. Would be much simpler to have no brush head, it would pick up much better on carpet without it. The push button barrel release has… Read more

always been so hard to push to work. Today it simply won't release the barrel to empty.

And depends which way the wind blows weather it's easy to clip back on; all has to be aligned.

It is a complicated contraption, in it's last days with me.

I never had any of this trouble with my old Electrolux powered vac; now recommissioned.

The stick vac from Aldi has put me off stick vacs completely. Even the batteries are tough to get off, can't do it with one hand.

They're just an eleborate carpet sweeper. Actually the old anologue carpet sweepers were easier to use; I'll be on the lookout for one now.

I'm sure there are better stick vacs around but the reviews had me convinced it would be good.

Footnote After reading Don's review, l am now aware Aldi has had multiple models. Don Purchased in June 2021 for $149.

I was told by a friend they're as good as a Dyson and simply bought the only model on offer at the time for less.

Makes it even more annoying that Aldi sell variants.

I had unpleasant experience with Aldi's stick vacuum cleaner. It died just after one year. Mind you, I only used it approximately about once a month on the kitchen hard floor because I use other vacuum cleaner for my regular vacuuming. The price was cheap, the performance was pathetic. I don't reccomend this product to anyone. Show details

Wouldn't suck the skin off a warm cup of milk – We bought this in late 2022 as an Aldi special buy. And while the motorised had is attached, the machine is somewhat acceptable. On our hard floors you can make 5 or 6 passes to pick up the dust/dirt/hair/etc. On carpet, it's no good. You need to hold it at an angle to force the brush head harder into the carpet and then make several passes for… Read more

it to pick anything up.

Take the head off, however, and you'll be lucky to have it pick anything. There's not enough suction for it to collect anything with any weight (more than pet hair/dry grass). This machine falls to be able to suck up grains of sand, for instance. And isn't that part of why you want a vacuum cleaner? For the vacuum?

The battery life is good and the volume is ok.

Stuff gets stuck in the canister and the whole filter needs to be removed to get the dirt and hair out, leaving you with dirty fingers. Not ideal

This is a disposable product that will end up in landfill – I purchased my Easy Home VC-R01-WG 2 in 1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner from Aldi a few years ago. At first I was happy with its performance, the turbo option worked great, but after time the battery pack started to fail. Replacement batteries are not available for this model and although it only uses five 18650 batteries it’s design makes it difficult… Read more

to change them because they are welded together so the average person at home can not tackle this repair without special equipment. It is great product and everything else works perfectly, it’s unfortunate that this is a disposable product that will end up in landfill.

Pretty poor performer – It lasted a year and a very average performer. It’s hard to find a good stick vac. Dyson has pathetic battery life (8mins). This one was better but poor suction. You can clean the filter by the way. Open the collector bin, then gentle unscrew the piece inside and then twist the filter out. I cleaned with an old tooth brush. Definitely would not buy again. Our is now in the rubbish. I don’t know how to fix these defective products. Show details

Ambiano stick vacuum. Poor battery performance – I have a small 3 bedroom cottage and the battery runs out before i have finished. So short battery charge and the mounting system for charging and storage is a bad design. Dont buy this one worst one i have owned so far. Show details

Really Sucks – There are too many Aldi Stick Vacuums. Please eliminate three. I am not a crackpot. From reviews I’ve seen, the ~$99 Aldi models aren’t worth the price. However, the ~$139 models are a different story. I read a review of a $129 model that said “half as good as a Dyson at 1/6th of the price”. That was good enough for me, as I have a studio… Read more

apartment and don’t want to spend $800 on a vacuum.

It really sucks. I mean, REALLY sucks. Straight out of the box, on minimal battery and it was gripping onto the rug for dear life. It had pulled up more dirt and grit in about 60 seconds of low battery that any of the full sized vacuums I’ve used in the past three years ever have - the dirt canister was even nearly full (it’s also not massive, but if it were then the vacuum would be awkward to use). My dog HATES when I vacuum, and will curl up before running to a different area of the apartment to get away from the noise, but with this he just stays on his bed and side-eyes me for disturbing him (awww, I’ll get him a present).

It does everything a Dyson of the same style does out of the box, with the exception of having additional accessories available for purchase (it does include nozzles and a brush attachment, that fit on the wall mounted “stand”). Sure it’s not as powerful or probably as well made, but it’s $139 and comes with a 3 year warranty - what more do you really need?

Check product thoroughly – Purchased Stick Vacuum in late January 2023 for $100 from local Aldi store. Was aware that it was a budget brand but the features and build quality made it seem a worthwhile purchase to use as an occasional backup vacuum. The vacuum appeared to work well and while probably not up there with the much more expensive brands did what was required of… Read more

it. Cleaned dust canister and metal filter after most uses so did not notice any lack of performance. In the last moth had noticed some fine dust being emitted from top of filter and a build up of same in the top filter which is unserviceable. When referring to the manual to try and find out why this was happening I discovered that the HEPA filter that should sit within the outer metal filter (and not visible from the outside) was not there. I was annoyed that I had not investigated this more thoroughly earlier but as this part of the vacuum was pre assembled out of the box I had erroneously assumed it was complete. My request to the after sales support for the supply of the HEPA filter was refused on the grounds of the delay from date of purchase and that I did not follow the instructions in manual not to use the vacuum without the HEPA filter. Whilst my request was handled promptly I feel that it was reasonable for me to expect the filter to be in place. The bottom line is that you should carefully inspect these products from purchase and that the cheaper product might not be the most prudent buy.

So much better than the Dyson Stick Vacuum – Many many years ago we spent a lot of money on a new Dyson. We loved it but when we used another brand of vacuum on holidays, we realised that our Dyson was maybe not as good vs the competition as we thought. Food for thought. Cut to 2020/2021. We thought we’d invest in a V11 last year. Great vacuum but I was getting sick of carrying it up and… Read more

down the stairs. So I bought an Easy Home stick vacuum today from Aldi. Less than a 10th of the price of the Dyson. Well I’m THRILLED. It performs as well on our tiled floor and carpet. It has a one year warranty in case there are issues. But THE BIGGEST BONUS BY FAR - it is far quieter than the Dyson. Vacuuming is now bliss. It does feel slightly less robust in hand but does the job as well as the Dyson! Plus the battery life is exceptional. I vacuumed for over half an hour. I’m sold! Love the on/off switch as well, the charging light and the wand is awesome, too. Will sell my V11 and buy another one of these (if I can get one).

Fantastic for a quick clean/tidy up – I'm very happy with this vac. For the price ($99) it's very good value. I wanted it for a quick daily tidy up (not a weekly full clean) and it's been perfect. It has 2 power settings. Fantastic suction. It's very light (which I need now). I've had it for about a year and the brush is just starting to occasionally stop spinning when I pull back. … Read more ·  1

I've done no trouble sitting at this time. • If you want a vacuum to do a heavy load/big clean every week, this might not suit you. If you want something to give the floors a good daily tidy up, you can't get better.

Excellent product! – Comes with accessories. Find it very easy to use. Does an excellent job on carpet and hard surfaces and the light up feature in the cleaning head is most useful. The vacuum head is small and can easily clean hard to reach crevice areas. Brilliant for picking up pet hair. Great battery life and I found it to be very easy to empty. Show details

Rubbish – I purchased the 2 in 1 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner Model Number IA5594 on the 9th September 2023. Worked fine in the beginning but suction over the months started to perform poorly. 1 year later the Vacuum will only work for approx. 10 seconds and then cuts out , although showing fully charged and even after I have checked all Filters and Vacuum head are clear of any obstruction. Not worth the money . Show details

Put the money towards a Dyson – If you want a quick sweep round this is just about ok for that. Doesn't pick much up and is really hard to empty. On the plus side it has a light at the front so you can see the dirt it's not picking up. Show details

Worked well initially then gave up the ghost! – Worked well for the first few months then I found it wasn't picking up anything. issue. As others have mentioned in their reviews, it is impossible to replace the battery as it is made up of a number of large cylinder batteries soldered together. Not worth the money if it only lasts for just over a year when it is out of warranty! I had to replace the battery in a diiferent cordless vacuum and it cost me nearly as much as the initial vacuum purchase. Cordless vacs are only good while they last and then they become landfill.

Good to use but hard to clean – Battery time is around 20- 30 minutes, which is enough time for a quick clean. Charging takes ages! I do find it extremely difficult to pull apart to clean. I have a dog, so fills up quickly with dog hair & dust & really needs cleaning after every use. Mostly used on tiled floor but okay on carpet too. Show details

Cheap and nasty – If you pay $99.00 for a vacuum, don't expect much from it. The battery lasted 11 mins from fully charged. Suction is weak and it's hard work emptying the dust compartment. The one good feature about it is the light on the front as it enables you to see the dirt you are (trying) to pick up. Show details

Good for price – It’s good for picking small bits of dust/crumbs etc from wood and tiled floor. However it’s not capable of vacuuming the entire house. Extremely unprofessional customer service – I bought a vacuum cleaner from Aldi (Easy home) on 22.01.2023 cordless stick vacuum - after one day I noticed dust inside the compartment, so I read the instructions and I find out that the HEPA filter is missing. check that everything is inside the vacuum cleaner, and they do not take responsibility for the missing part. How rude and unprofessional !!!. And when I wanted to ask for detail to make an official complaint the person on the phone ( customer service manager ) said that she does not need to provide me with details AND SHE HANG UP !!!.

Dear Aldi, if you want people to keep shopping in your shops, make sure you deal with honest companies !!!

They not only rip off you but as well the customers of Aldi !!!. This is the second case of a filter missing in the vacuum you can read about it on this forum !!!

I went to Aldi, got a refund, and never again, I have a bad aftertaste.

Aldi - please investigate what company you dealing with.

Peter

PATHETIC – Won't even pick up a grain of rice. No suction even on timber floors. Won't automatically turn off when fully charged. You have to put it on a timer as instructions tell you don't overcharge. Lost my receipt so can't return. Wouldn't give it to my worse enemy. Vacuum with no filter – Vacuum was hardly used but was working really well until I noticed a burning smell coming from the motor. enquired from the manufacturer only to be told that we should have checked the vacuum out when we first bought it. Supposing it was a microwave, would I have been expected to check that out somehow? Good for the price but no Dyson – Bought this to vacuum mainly for hard floors and it is quite acceptable. Obviously not as good as a Dyson but very similar with less suction power. It may struggle with carpets but is very good at vacuuming up pet hair and human hair from hard floors. Biggest issue is you have to clean the brush in the head regularly or it will clog up and stop working. Show details
