My Aldi dishwasher is amazing – I’m very happy with my Aldi dishwasher. The rack has rotted out so I’ve ordered a new one. Show details

Warranty department is absolutely USELESS ***Tempo.org*** – Logged warranty claim for dishwasher overflow issue on the 11/10/2022 Claim CS00551455 Advised I a service tech will be in contact with me within 2 days as it will be allocated to a local repairer. 3 days has passed and still no phone call called Tempo.org and they advised that the job was allocated and provided the job number and contact… Read more

details of the repairer and advised they will be in contact

I've called the repairer on 20/11/2022 whom was really apologetic as they don't service my area and said that they know nothing of the work allocated to them, in addition it will take another 8 days before Tempo.org could have the parts provided to the repairer

Tempo.org is absolutely useless, international call centre and all they can say is that they will notify the service team about this feedback.

ALDI, you guys really need to find a better warranty company to look after your aftersale service and warranty.

its been 9 days to be told that the repairer knows nothing about the job another 7-10 days before repairer gets the appropriate parts and then for the repairer to book in the job

VERY DISSAPPOINTING

Would never buy another – Wouldn't clean dishes without pre rinsing under the tap, rotor becomes clogged by the slightest amount of debris which in turn hampers it's efficiency, The racks have rotted through, leaving the washer useless, each time we use another of the small prongs in the trays snaps off, the internal metal structure of the racks has corroded away, we… Read more

deliberately purchased a second set of dishes so we only run the washer when completely full, so once or twice a week at most. We've probably only used the washer for 30% of it's intended use before it's let us down. We noticed the corrosion about a month after the guarantee had ran out, we would have expected the washer to run a little longer considering it's light use. We are in a soft water area, no other water appliances have let us down. The washer itself still runs OK, However we can't use the washer without racks and rotors, dropped Sterling a line to see if replacement racks could be purchased, was told No, Very Disappointed Aldi and Sterling.

The Washer is good until you get the E4 (possible solution) – I got the E4 Error with this washer after 2 weeks of use (so about 7 times). After trying everything (looking at drains etc) nothing was wrong. however one of the following resolved my issue (when i took the bottom tray out): 1) A random clip/cover was in the filter. After some investigation, i found out that the clip/cover fell off the inside… Read more

front right side of the washer. This left a HUGE hole. I believe when the Washer was on, water would go into this hole and cause a leak. For the life of me, i dont know the purpose of the clip/cover, but i simply placed it back. I would have not found it if i didnt take off the tray (as i believe it was stuck on the tray somewhere). Side Note: I believe opening and closing the bottom tray can knock this clip/cover off quite easily.

2) The filter has this odd clip that semi blocks the drain hole. Not caring at this point, as i spent an hour or so investigating the washer issue, i removed it, just in case it was causing some blockage.

So far, no more E4 error. However, i believe No.1 was the root cause, but i shall see soon enough. All internals looks fine and dry.

Never had an issue with a washer so early in it use

Worked great. For two months – This dishwasher was awesome for the first two months. Dishes came out immaculate. Now, it takes two loads to even have a chance of cleaning the dishes. Waste of money Show details

Reasonable but went wrong after three months. Aldi didn't want to know. Warranty useless – Dishwasher worked for three months then went wrong, giving out incredibly loud grinding noise that scared us. Contacted Tempo (who do Aldi's servicing in Australia) but technician, who arrived a week later couldn't fix it. Technician even refused point blank, to remove shoes before entering my house due to 'insurance'. Tempo promised a full refund… Read more

but a week later it still hadn't been actioned, so I phoned Tempo and spoke with Kim, the Supervisor, who promised me faithfully she would personally ensure the refund went through. Six days later the refund still hasn't been done. Do NOT trust Tempo and, personally I'd never buy white goods from Aldi ever again because their warranty means nothing. Time to get onto credit card company.

December 11th 2019 Update: Useless. Then so called 'refund' arranged by Tempo (Aldi's service company) never put through.

This dishwasher lasted a few weeks before sounding like it was going to explode. I contacted Tempo who sent service people around but they couldn't fix the fault. Service company then advised me to just keep using the dishwasher despite hearing the cacophony the machine was making! I asked them to put that 'advice' in writing to me. Unsurprisingly they refused to but suddenly Tempo decided to give me a full refund. However, over two weeks later the refund still hasn't arrived in my bank.Tempo state the money's been put into my bank but it definitely hasn't. This is a nightmare. Tempo seem to believe I will simply give up and walk away. MY ADVICE to any Aldi customers is do not purchase any ALDI product unless you are fine with being lied to and robbed. NEVER again will I buy from them.

It only lasted three months before failing – This dishwasher worked well enough at first, although noting special. it then suddenly emitted several startlingly loud buzzing/grinding noises that was so loud it could be heard OUTSIDE the house. We called up the 1300 number and Sterling sent the repairer round. We then had to wait ten days for a new part (soap dispenser) but within two days the… Read more

noise returned, except much louder. We phoned the repairer back but they refused to do anything more. I went into Aldi Gympie and politely asked their staff what could be done. They spoke with their Manager and then told me I'd have to bring the dishwasher back for a refund. This despite it coming with a 3 year warranty. I just wanted it fixed as it's a waste of time removing it, returning it and then having to buy another elsewhere as Aldi have no more left. Absolutely NOT impressed and will not buy from Aldi again. It seems no retailer stands by their warranty nowadays.

Stay Away! – Easy installation and I like the layout of the racks however we got a lemon. It never finished its first wash and was beeping/flashing error code saying there is an internal leak somewhere. The bottom was flooded. I called Tempo for help as per instructions in the Manual, they weren’t helpful at all. Told me to run another load eventho it’s… Read more

flooded ?!?!? I soon realised its stuck on the error code and it wasn’t going to do another load. So we unplugged it and dragged it back to Aldi store for a full refund

Very happy with it – After buying a dishwasher from Harvey Norman ( Anniston) brand $1100: we were disappointed with its performance and non drying capability,so we took it back , just could not decide what to get as all brands seem to have there problems even the expensive ones , so after seeing the latest Aldi dishwasher for only $299 with a 3 year in-house warranty… Read more

, figured if it lasts 3 years or dies ( at least it will fill in the space under the sink)

Well what a surprise , It is simple to use , washes perfectly and it comes out dry ( altho we leave the door ajar after it finishes ) ..more than happy with it , time will tell but at that price
