Primarily an annoyance. Cheap garbage – This product is not fit for purpose. It can not balance loads so the spin cycle has the machine walking/wobbling out of its cupboard. It is destroying the cupboard by banging up against the walls. And it's legs are correctly levelled. What's the point in having a washing machine if you have to baby-sit it (lean on it to stop it destroying the… Read more
surroundings) during every spin cycle? I doubt the machine will survive to its warranty given how much it shakes.

Low quality – Look at the pump and the other wiring.low quality, rusts easy. Door poor closure causes unreliability Show details
Do not waste your money – It did not last for 1 year and does not spin contacted Aldi, technician came and still not working Show details
9 weeks wait to repair under warranty – DO NOT waste your money on this heap of junk. My washing is covered under warranty and I have waited 9 weeks and counting for the machine to be repaired. The repairman has been out twice with no success and we are now waiting on an additional part to fix with no date on when it will arrive/be installed. Tempo have said they cannot replace as they… Read more
don’t have the same machine. I will never buy a product from tempo/Stirling again for as long as I live
Took good care of it, but now sounds like a concrete mixer while washing – Bought this new. Works well for washing and has 1200 spin. Wifi is good to let you know it’s finished washing. I Always leave door open and detergent door open after washing so everything can dry after use. That’s all good. But the BAD. After washing once on anti allergy setting (which heats to 90 degrees C according to manual) to kill dust mites,… Read more
machine developed a strange grinding sound as it spins while washing. No big deal I thought as it was fairly quiet. Since then it has only gotten louder, and now continuously grinds as it washes. It’s so loud, I now use it as an indicator that the load is still washing. Works better than the wifi feature LOL. It’s about as loud as the spin cycle and I thought I’d deal with it ok as laundry has two doors from lounge room. Unfortunately it’s only getting louder and one day I think it will seize up and die. I’m pretty sure something has distorted in the drum from heat and it’s hitting the frame, but I’m not going to disassemble and investigate a 1 year old machine which has a 3 year warranty. It’s going back to Aldi as I religiously keep all Aldi receipts for this purpose. Too bad. Was good for the few months it lasted.
Update June 2023: finally the grinding noise became ridiculous. I could hear the machine through closed doors and it was annoying the neighbours even, and I have full size block of land. It went back to Aldi who were good with a refund, and very few questions asked. Happily, I saw that the same machine was available for sale new this week. So I grabbed it again. It’s cheaper than a few years ago. $349 now, but it was $399 a couple of years ago. Where’s the inflation? Lol Anyway, I will see how the second machine goes and report in due course here. Fingers crossed.

now have to iron everything as they come out wrinkled and very wet. Towels dry scratchy – Actually bought the 8KG Machine at a reduced price in Nov 2021 The machine washes well but the spin cycle only goes to 1200 rpm and clothes, sheets and towels are still wet. Therefore they dry wrinkled and towels feel scratchy. I've only ever had front loaders and never this problem. Wouldn't recommend unless you like ironing. Show details
Huge load carrier and quiet – Been awesome so far with a wide range of washing cycles with further options within those like water temp and spin speeds and such . Great value for money as most 7-8kg front loader are a lot more expensive than the sterling. First time user of a front loader and more than happy with my purchase. I would recommend this product to anyone. Show reply
Great washing machine for the price 3 year warranty and was half the price of others on the market washed great no issue – Washes hubby’s work clothes and gets all the stains out my old machine use to leave them still a little dirty love all the different programs it has A++ love it Show details
This is rubbish – Was OK for a regular load but failed to wash a quilted queen size doona cover. Kept going for around 2 hours, was stuck on rinse and spin. The same thing happened when washing 6 towels. Both loads were still dripping wet. Failed to spin even when set to spin-only cycle. Rang after sales support who said it could be repaired. A 2 day old machine should not need reapiring. Will be returning it to Aldi. Show details
