half way through as I had the machine out I could see water pooling in the seam where the stainless body joins to the plastic base tub . When the cycle had finished I had a torch on the inside of the machine , checking the outside I could see light. So how do you even start to repair this ?…. A large tube of high temp silicone now that it’s out of warranty Pretty disappointing really
Follow-up · After applying sealant to the seam all the way around the machine hasn’t leaked , it did work .
The dishwasher is the worst appliance I have dealt with and, similar to other people I wish I had read the reviews. The dishwasher was used one day a week and broke after 6 months by an overflow. finally organised they sent me details of a repairer that I was to call and organise a time (once wiping their hands of any support). I rang the repairer and they said they had refused the job and then I had to call again. Was offered a refund as apparently no other repairers out in my area and then the call centre person changed their mind and were escalated. I was then refused the refund they offered and had to call another repairer. This time the repairer said they were waiting for approval from Tempo. I then had to call again to organise this. As of now I am still waiting to have it repaired with Tempo blaming everyone but themselves. I also have raised with them how much of my time is taken up by chasing them up for truthful and accurate information. I’ll be avoiding the Aldi middle aisle like the plague for a long time.

Wish I read these reviews before purchasing. Would never buy this brand again. Does not wash properly. Still dealing with Warranty after months as they are refusing to refund. Very disappointed in product and customer service from Warranty. Show details
Double the effort double the time – Too shelf doesn't clean. Trued various positions for placing dishes. Trued spacing out dishes. Latest run tried putting dishes only on top shelf empty bottom shelf. All bowls still dirty and required hand washing. Do not recommend this purchase. Show details
Put your money into a better brand – Has lasted 2 years 2 mths . It now won’t drain. Has had everything cleaned and checked and makes no difference. We have always rinsed dishes and used the tablets recommended. Guess for $349 you get what you pay for lesson learnt

pretty good, compared to the flimsy Stirling, which feels unnervingly delicate. In favour of the Stirling though, is it washes and dries much better than the LG. In fact, no complaints about the Stirling's washing and drying at all. It's also nice and easy to use and stacks very well too. Alas though, where the LG lasted 4 years before quitting, the Stirling only went for 4 weeks before it started to error. Long story short, we had the repair man several times, but within a week or two of each visit, the machine errored again. I owned the machine for about 6 months, but got fed up with having to get the repair man out. It was always fixed under warranty, but quite inconvenient. Eventually I got my money back and have brought a Westinghouse, which is much better than both the LG and the Stirling. I will review this next.
Terrible doesn’t wash dishers – Purchased but not used for several months as overseas , fully fitted & wash reasonable on 1.1/2 hr cycle , then terrible . Put through dishwasher cleaner , cleaned filters , washed out , used 3 hr eco cycle . First few washes ok , then leaving grime , dishwasher tablet not dissolving, wash plates almost clean before use , glasses not even touched… Read more

Below Average performance – Used it for 5 month when we moved into our new house. We have not been Impressed with its performance. Below average cleaning and very long cleaning cycles.
CHEAP AND CHEERFUL – I was gifted this dishwasher as a birthday present from friends and family. I was quite sceptical has to how long it would last but over 2 years later it hasn't missed a beat. It cleans really well, doesn't clog. I only scrape plates before placing, never rinse. The control panel is basic but for the price this is an excellent machine. Show reply
I would rather have a man clean my dishes than this piece of crap – Doesn't clean properly no matter which cycle you put it on even after rinsing well. Also cant put a normal size dinner plate in rack as sprinkler arm won't rotate. Show details
Great dishwasher for a small price – We purchased the ALDI dishwasher mainly for the price. $299 and 3 year warranty. All the others were only 1 year warranty. Works well does the job. The stainless steel is easy to keep clean. Show details
Installed and leaked water straight away – As soon is was run for the first time it started leaking water from the front right hand corner. Initially thought this was due to it not being level, turns out if was just faulty straight our of the box. Show details
