Very Satisfied, worked from 3rd pull, restarts everytime – A well constructed compact design, I followed all the instructions and it started perfectly. Note: I noticed a vacuum hose from the air-filter to the OHV cover not positioned in the OHV cover hole, this could be due to transport or handling as its easy to dislodge, it took no effort to reinsert. It was surprisingly quiet and only just a few… Read more

decibels more when under load with a 900 watt 127mm grinder, both on Eco and Normal. If you are certain to only use it intermittently make sure you add an additive to your Jerry can to preserve the fuel as fuel lasts only a few months, a Winns product, (Complete System Cleaner, purple bottle), will keep the fuel ready for a year, cause a clean burn and lube the valves, it's worth it. Over all i'm very happy with the Product and Price.

Doesn’t meet claimed power output – Doesn’t meet claims Sadly the work zone generator I purchased in November 2018 does not meet its stated power output capability. It will not run a 1600 W toaster, it will not run a caravan water heater, it will not run a skill power saw. All of these items are well within the start-up and constant operating power capabilities stated on the… Read more

machine. Furthermore the machine stalled instantly the appliances were turned on. Did not continue running and switch off electrical power as stated in manual .

I got it at a discount price of $200 and plan to return it under warranty.

Even $299 it is a cheap generator but only suitable for running small appliances.

I’m not sure about it’s long life as I only operated it for a few moments to find out it didn’t meet my requirements.

Good when it’s working – Runs for awhile then it doesn’t produce power. I have to shut it down for awhile. When I restart it it produces power again. The cooler the day the longer it’ll produce power. Will be no good on hot days to run camp fridges. Noise wise, it is pretty much on a par with similar genset of the same size, just a shame that the heat sensor might be to sensitive or faulty.  Show details
