Am I being ripped off????? – The Auto Electrician came out as my car would not go out of park, the key would not release from the ignition and the boot would not open no tail lights. I was charged $176 $80 call out $80 labor + $16 gst I was told after testing that the centre console shifter was faulty and after replacement would need further testing. When they returned… Read more
with the part after putting it in I was then informed that this was not the actual issue causing the issues and that it was infact the computer was burned out. I was then charged $396
$240 parts
$120 labor
$36 gst
My car had been pulled apart and he told me that if he left the car as is and undrivable that when he comes back out I would not have to pay for him to take it all apart again. Also that the computer would not have to be reprogrammed. When I was contacted the next day with a quote I was quoted a further $680-720 I asked for a breakdown in price he returned with this
$145 labor (which I thought the fact I left my car as is and not have to pay again would fall under this section?)
$130 programming (I was told it would not have to be reprogrammed)
$365 parts and gst
Over charged and didn't fix problem – Car not starting. $88 a call out and then an extra $55 to use the "special" diagnostic, that gave the wrong diagnosis. Here 10 mins then left. They said it was the Key transponder i had that checked and it wasn't. After chasing them on the phone to get them to come back 2 days later they did. Called out 3 times over a 1 week period because they… Read more
were guessing what was wrong and didn't want to know about it anymore. Car still not fixed left under the dash in pieces wiring and screws on the floor. Computer on the floor stripped. I had to put it all together and the screws to put computer panels on are missing. Wish I had taken photos to show. Needless to say, I am not happy. They have bad services once they have been paid. Don't pay them till the job is done and you are satisfied. Better still find an honest fair business. Leo.

Over Chargef – Organised to have a fish finder, an anderson plug and 2x 12V sockets installed in my 4m tinnie. They wouldn't give me a set price but said it wouldn't be over $600. When I picked my boat up they said it would be $850! I asked why they didn't call to let me know it would be a lot more and the admin guys said "we wanted to do a good job and make it… Read more
safe". That's what I expected for under $600! Be very careful with this company. They have good tradesmen but management are money hungry.
ripped off – called them to fix my stop solenoid, advised them it had burnt two of them already so something was wrong, he advised me that it had been wired incorrectly and proceeded to change wiring around. all done in 20 mins, told it was tested and 100% happy days i thought, went to use next morning and 10 mins into using it does exactly the same thing… Read more

Starter motor- completely ripped off – Had a new starter mother put in 7 months ago - in may. Played up in December- they said it wasn't the starter motor and charged me again for a earth lead. Decided I didn't… Read more

Had to get another starter motor. All up allcoast ripped me off $800. New place fitted a fabulous quality starter for $500. Be warned
