I can't live without my Angelcare 1120 – Love it, easy to set up and customer service is amazing. The picture is clear and the sound is fantastic, it has a huge range for waking around and the option for day/night viewing is great. I can even zoom in to see my little man's chest rising. Great product

Ok monitor but not great – Monitor has poor image quality, often can't tell if baby's eyes are open or closed and zoom in feature is very blurry. Monitir was easy to set up and has the option of battery or wall power. Overall it is reliable but occasionally randomly loses signal. Has microphone so you can talk to baby.

Same problem as everyone else – For the first six months I felt this product was five star. I recommended it to others and four people bought it based on my recommendation. Then all of a sudden the screen started freezing and the monitor lost reception from the parent unit whilst being 10 meters apart. We spent so much money on this at the recommendation from a trusted… Read more

friend as we thought this would last several years and two or three kids. Our daughter is 15 months and we need a new monitor because this is out of warranty. Not good enough for what you pay.

It doesn't deserve 1 star – Horrible don't buy!!! It freezes and gives you a fright last night it froze and gave me a fright. It needs to be mounted to see over the cot. It is not worth your money spend it on a camera that moves and tilts and most of all does not freeze!!!

Heaps of problems!!! – My first AC1120 constantly beeped out of range when the video and parent monitor only had about 10m between them. Apparently it doesnt like walls!??! The parent unit then stopped working within a few months of purchase. I was sent a new parent unit but the same thing beeps out of range and i cant turn the sound down on it intermittently. The… Read more

screen has also frozen. I have had my daughter in my arms and she still appeared in bed on the screen. I also saw my husband on the monitor leaning over her when he was next to me in bed....frightened the life out of me! Have a second bub on the way and will be purchasing a different brand!!

Nothing but problems!!! – I purchased this monitor for the range distance it claims to have, so I could be outside with my daughter while bub was sleeping. It would only let me get 11 meters before beeping out of range. The screen would freeze all the time! Once I got bub out of bed to freed him and on the monitor he was still fast asleep. The next time I put bub to bed… Read more

but on the monitor he wasn't in bed. Other times I could hear him crying but the monitor wasn't making a noise.

When I tried to get in contact with angelcare they said I wasn't getting much distance because of bathroom walls and kitchen lessen the signal, but the direction of the signal wasn't going through bathroom or kitchen, they didn't care and wouldn't do a thing about it send told me that all other monitors in the market are only going to be worse. I ended up going to target and getting basic Motorola monitor and it works perfectly, getting over 100m range for half the price.

Don't waste your money!!!!!

Everything!!!!!!

I'm taking it back – Unfortunately my experience with this expensive monitor has been very disappointing. It is hard to get the correct angle to view bubs in her cot. It would be good if it came with a stand. The video monitor freezes all the time. Once my husband went in to check on our daughter and sat back down, looked at the screen and his image was still on… Read more

the screen looking over her cot. It scared us thinking someone was on our room. Yesterday the screen had frozen and the sound had dropped out. I could hear my daughter crying from the other room but was fast asleep on the monitor.

The ranging drops out and beeps when I'm less than 20m away.

The sound drops in and out.

I have contacted their customer service centre and they want to take it back to the manufacturer for assessment but in the meantime I will be left without a monitor.

I'm just going to return it and get my money back. Clear screen, cute angel monitor Screen freezes, sound drops out, ranging drops in and out

Love this monitor – I got this monitor for my daughter and it has been the best choice. The screen resolution is great, very clear audio, has 2 way communication which can be great to talk to your baby and calm them down. It also has a fantastic night light for the room. Also has a good range so i can go out the back to do things while my daughter is sleeping. … Read more

It shows the temp of the room. I also love this as i can check up on her without walking into her room.

Only thing i would say is the camera unit for the room would be nice if it came with a stand of some sort as its real hard to get a good angle into the cot. I dont have much room for a tripod and have had to tie it to the wall and get it to sit on an angle to see inside the bed. Especially for the price that you pay for the unit. night light, temp of room, clear video and audio really needs a swivel stand on bottom included and not as an extra

Excellent Product – Excellent product, reliable, easy to use - would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. It tells the tempreature in the room and gives a clear picture and sound. I really like how you can adjust the sound level. Only issue is that you don't get much warning when the battery is running low, as in it just beeps every 10 seconds… Read more

until you put it on charge. Just a little annoying but not a big deal at all. Also, it doesn't come with a adjustable stand so I bought the gorilla pod which screwed into the bottom of the nursery unit to allow us to get a good view of bubs. Reliable, tells temperature, easy to use Annoying beeping every 10 second when battery runs low

Great big screen with a clear view – After much research I decided to buy the Angelcare video monitor. It has a great big CLEAR screen unlike others which are quite pixely the sound comes on when it hears a sound rather than on permantly and the rechargeable base is great and lasts a long time. Can also put it on standby mode which dulls the screen but will still turn on when sound is activated. Battery life, clear screen, night mode, temperature reading.

Very happy with this purchase – I was a bit hesitant about purchasing a video monitor at first. Friends had raved about the 'sound and movement' monitors but I didn't want to become a neurotic mum - I did have a few similar concerns with the video feature - but in the end I did splurge and it's been great! The sound and video quality are great, no static and the monitor has only… Read more ·  2

picked up heavy traffic noise once (We live on a busy-ish street - but I did have the voice activation sensitivity set to maximum).

Our bub is 3/1/2 months old and is just going down for day sleeps in her own room. It's great to be able to do things about the house and still watch her sleep. It's also great to help you decide whether to go in and settle her if she cries out - or to 'see' if she's just about to fall asleep.

I read reviews for the angel care sound/movement&video monitor (apparently this video product is the same) - and in night mode the parent screen does 'flash' - but it looks just like the monitor 'calibrating' itself when its using the infrared sensors - doest seem like an issue at all.

I think it will be very useful when she's permanently in her own room at night - the unit will activate if she cries out, and you can either go in straight away to check, or flip the video on to see if she's just cried out in her sleep.

Worst thing about the unit is positioning it properly. The little prop at the base of the unit to help you angle it is pretty inadequate, but it does have a tripod attachment. Not wanting to have a huge tripod in the middle of her bedroom, i've got it set up on top of a bookshelf with a little mini flexible/bendy camera tripod so i can easily angle the unit down 45 degrees to view straight into the cot - problem solved! Great sound and video quality Needed a mini flexible tripod to set up the camera properly
