Good Product - Reception isnt great – As a FTM I purchased this camera hoping it would do everything we need and we loved the fact of a large screen. Temp - We have found the temp gauge to be a little out and not correct. The camera gets quite warm which increases the temperature reading. We wish we could turn off the temperature reading on the camera as it is quite bright especially now our toddler is now more intrigued in the lights than sleeping, it was much the same when he was a baby. We absolutely the fact that it records the temperature and gives you a chance to see what the temperature was over night.

Camera Quality - Quality is great until you go to night mode and then it becomes grainy.

Sounds Quality - Sound quality is excellent and very loud if you need it to be.

Reception - The reception quality isnt great, we struggle for reception in our bedroom and can not leave the inside of the house without losing reception which is quite unsatisfactory. Our home isnt a large home just an old home.

Battery Life - Battery life is good but only if the screen is set on sleep mode, if the screen is left on for too long it drains the battery fast but it is understandable considering the large screen.

Price - Way to high for what it is and the additional camera is over $200 if you wish to run extra cameras for other children

Overall this monitor is a good addition to our home but just wish they had a extendable antenna to help with the poor reception.

A bit disappointed – As a FTM I thought I was buying the absolute best for my son, unfortunately friends who have spent less money have gotten better monitors. Mounting the camera was immediately enough to show me I wouldn't be happy. It is absolutely impossible to mount it in a way that you can see the baby's entire cot which is needed once they start moving. The battery on the parent unit doesn't last for his morning nap, lunch nap and then the time until I go to bed and charge it. The camera quality is pretty low meaning you can't even tell if my son has his dummy in or not and the movement monitor has gone of multiple times when he was quite small and not rolling around yet scaring the life out of me. I certainly wouldn't buy this monitor again and am actually in the process of researching for a better quality one for my 11 month old son

Reliable but can improve – Having experienced other monitors which just "frozen" without us knowing about it (baby was sleeping so you cant tell), we found this baby monitor to be reliable. We have been using this monitor for 1.5 years now and works perfectly. We also like that it can filter the regular sounds and only report when there is a sudden change in noise. What we do not like about it is that the design of the camera and its holder is not flexible. We mounted it on the wall , half a meter from the cot but because of inflexibility of the holder, the camera captures only half of the cot. It was ok when the bay was younger but since our baby was able to move aound when he sleepa we do not see him on the screen half of the time.

I also agree with a review below about monitor quality, as the picture is not always clear. To be fair, when it was dark the camera is black and while but as long as there is light in the room then the color is ok. Also at this price, I would think you should be able to connect the camera to your phone.

I would probably try other products if I have to buy another baby monitor.

Not that great considering the price – I bought this product thinking it was going to be a great monitor considering the price and the one I had for my previous child which was a fairly cheap one works better even 4 years later. I found that for the price it doesn’t do anything more special than a cheaper video monitor, battery doesn’t last long, I can’t take the monitor near the camera or it makes an annoying noise and the worse problem is the temperature is always out by like 3 degrees! I had 2 other room thermometer which read the Same or out by 1 and is usually what my daughter monitor reads as well so I trust it’s temp. Also found the monitor to be a poor quality. Overall disappointed.

Expensive for poor quality – I bought this monitor thinking it would be the best considering the price. All the advertising shows the LCD screen in colour and it’s black and white and poor quality video. No way to do updates or view on your mobile phone. Really hope I can return it.
