Animates Clay Clumping Cat Litter

Great Product – This litter does track but I'm yet to find one that doesn't. I use it in an enclosed litter box so I haven't found dust to be a problem. It clumps really well and the unsoiled pieces are easy to sift away with a scoop. I remove clumps and poops twice a day before and after work and kitten is happy to use it for several days straight. it might smell after a few days but I can generally get a week out of it by topping it up as needed. I use the Trouble & Trix odour spray as an extra measure, it has a talcum powder type smell and you can tell it is neutralising the stink rather than masking it

Good But Very Dusty!!! – Good for clumping and getting rid of waste without having to chuck out the whole litter in a week or two. Just need to top it up. I actually love clumping litters. It's a shame it's so dusty! My cat after using this is sneezing and wheezing, she has an enclosed litter box. I am having to look at other kitty liter to find another that clumps but without all the dust! It's insane the amount of dust, I would also recommend a mask when using the scoop to scoop out the solids.

It does hide the odour well, it does clump as it says, it's a big shame it's so dusty. It covers skirting boards and everything. would never buy again in a pink fit. Way too dusty!

I have found another product that has way less dust.

Dustiest litter I've ever used – I've used various types of litters for my 2 cats and this has to be one of the worst. It is very fine and sand like, and is probably the texture my cats enjoy the most (cats evolving from desert animals and whatnot). It clumps and controls odours decently but the dust is insane. I cannot bring myself to deal with this litter without wearing a surgical mask. I don't even have asthma and this litter makes me cough. Hell, my cats only ever sneezed when we used this litter. It's THAT dusty. I can't imagine what kind of havoc such a dusty litter would wreak on the health of my cats if they had to use this all the time.

And the tracking is unbearable. If you have your litter box somewhere more central in your home then have fun vacuuming all the time. If you don't vacuum whenever you can, feeling the litter under your bare feet will drive you insane, as well having the cats track the litter into your bed, onto your couches, and all over the house. I didn't even truly understand what "tracking" was until I'd used Animates, and I'd used other clumping clay like Catsan previously. Only Animates has given us this much trouble. great but dusty – Clumps great, easy to clean, long lasting. It is very dusty though and seems to get dustier with each new purchase. I am going to try a new litter as the dust is too much. Unfortunately the dust gets everywhere and is even all over my kitten when he leaves litter box. clumps well VERY dusty

The best cat litter ever! – Excellent clumping properties. Clumps are easy to remove. You just need to tip the litter bowl from side to side to reveal clumps and solid waste. Only the used litter is removed, so there is no wastage of unused litter. No smell. It changed colour when one of my cats had biliary issues, therefore saved me $$ in diagnostic examinations. While it is expensive to purchase for multiple cats it is actually fairly economical as there is no wastage. Though it varies slightly from week to week, on average I only use 14kg per week for 8 cats.

It is initially expensive to purchase. The bags are very heavy and difficult to carry. A little dusty.
