I got this on Peto assistant's advise for my 16 weeks old kitten. In one week my kitten started coughing bad. I removed the litter immediately and started using different type of litter .No coughing next day. It should come with warning. Show details

Putrid – This has to be the worst litter I have ever bought. Gave it a try given i saw it advertise at a descent price. Value for money is poor, but what is worse is the non existence of odour control. I could smell this litter from downstairs (the litter box is upstairs)……..Of the many litters I have tried in the past, I’ve never been able to smell the box from this far away. Exactly as described, highly recommend – Exactly as described, highly recommend - doesn't get stuck to our cats feet or produce dust like other crystal-based products we've tried in the past. What happened? – I used this for my two indoor cats for years. They made a few changes to it…which they denied until I sent photos. Now recently, another change and it’s terrible. Grey concrete which sticks to my cats and the litter trays, and it’s also very expensive so I won’t use it any more. "neat" and scoop out perfectly. And that's pretty much where the joy of this litter ends.

If you read their website, this litter contains THREE ingredients to eliminate odors ... carbon, baking soda and zeolite. They kind of help with odors once my kitties cover their pee and poop, but that's as far as it goes. When scooping their litter box, I've been overcome with the smell of ammonia. Because of this, scooping has become a real headache for me, literally.

Our litter box is a large 75 litre plastic tub because my oldest kitty likes to dig a hole to China when he has to pee. Our litter is 4-5" deep so even when he does this, his pee will still clump before it hits the bottom of the container. This litter clumps beautifully, but it does very little to mask the smell.

I'm not sure if I'll keep using this litter or not, odor control is a huge deal to us, but so is the ability to scoop out clean clumps that don't disintegrate. Trouble & Trix take care of that beautifully. But odor is a higher priority, so I'm on the fence. :(

Footnote: This litter is NOT light, it's quite heavy despite the claim on their website. I bought 3 bags, all of which went into our tub/litter box, and it's really hard to move. It does track a little bit, but no more than other litters. One reviewer said it turns into a muddy mess. I haven't seen that. All the scattered litter has been very easy to sweep up and dispose of. But odor control is a must in any house, so I'd have to give this product a thumbs down :/

NOT GOOD AT ODOR CONTROL. VERY DUSTY WHEN SCOOPING OR POURING LITTER INTO THE TRAY – The litter is good at clumping. However, the litter tray stinks after 1 day. It makes my house smell terrible. overbearing fake smell and doesn't clash horribly with the smell of cat waste like other scented litters on the market. It's not dusty at all but does tend to track fairly easily being a finer litter but it's usually only small amounts. I've placed my litter tray into a large shallow storage tub which catches most of it. Also saves wasting any precious product. It also has the added benefit of being able to go into our FOGO bin instead of landfill. If you're willing to make sacrifices elsewhere in your budget, this cat litter is absolutely the best.

Best so far – Have really enjoyed using this product for our cats, really help control the odor, pallets are so much smaller so easier to clean and going through the litter as quick. Sadly our Mildura petbarn has stopped stocking it so will have to try find something similar Show details ·  1

Works well - go through it fast though! – I like the smell and it does help keep the odour under control. I don't understand the company tagline that it last 14 weeks though - I have 2 cats and I barely get through about 3 weeks for 1 bag. litter gets too low. If it gets too low it turns to mud on the bottom of the tray when urinated on and sticks to the tray and your scoop. You have to keep at least 4 cm of litter depth at all times. Its very expensive when you're buying a couple of bags a month!

No litter trail – It leaves no litter trail n clumps liquid well. It dissolves easily in water so flushing it down the toilet is an option though I prefer to throw clumped urine into bin. It is not dusty except when litter is at its last bit it does have a powdery remnants which I don’t use anyway. It doesn’t really absorb adore it does leave a “controlled” n tolerable Adour. My advice is to always scoop away after cat’s each use. I do anyway. Show details

Really effective litter – I have just started using Trouble and Trix Tofu Cherry Blossom litter. It is one of the best after trying LOTS of different brands. It clumps well, is easy to scoop up and dispose of (doesn’t weigh a tonne) and it reduces odour. I will be back to stock up. Show details ·  1

great this product is. It clumps so well, smells good, doesn’t leave a mess and literally zero smell. I have had this bag in the litter box for about 3 weeks now and still clean and no smell when waste is removed daily. I’m truely impressed and won’t use any other from now on.
