for filling the litter tray and easy to store. There is no smell of urine which means longer use per tray. Sunning the tray after removal of solids is very effective, also prolonging usage. I like the fact that it does not clump as so many others do. My cats have responded well to its texture and like being able to scratch in it. Occasionally a small piece attaches to the cat's paw but rarely. The litter is easy to sweep up and not too dusty. I thoroughly recommend Chandler cat litter to all cat owners.

it did not clump at all. All it did was soak through to the bottom of the litter tray and it was a nightmare trying to scrape it off. Nothing like the video instruction. I actually wasted a lot with the scraping. There was no odour but that still isn't enough for me to repurchase this again. Too expensive when I can get litter from the supermarket that is cheaper and does the same thing. So upset that I wasted my money on this

walnut based one but the dark granules looked awful tracking across the pale floor. This corn based litter, although dusty (when pouring and litter tray cleaning) has been great for odour control and we’ve been using it for a while. Although it does track a little, it’s not as much as the walnut one and doesn’t hurt like the crystals. Yesterday we adopted a 2nd cat and while sitting in the room with her she used the litter tray, hopped out and started a coughing fit. All of a sudden (lightbulb moment), we realised this has been the issue for our first cat. She has been having coughing fits (assumed by us and the vet to be allergies) that has only cropped up in the past 9months. I’m now on the hunt for yet another type of genuinely dust free litter.

Since my old girl passed away I was missing that company and everyday interaction with my beloved cat, I decided to buy another kitten and noticed… Read more

the breeder was using ozpet, their house had 11 kittens and 3 adult cats, understandable as this is their livelihood, their career. When it was time to pick up my fur baby I noticed they had 4 litter trays all filled with ozpet, I couldn’t smell any strong odours, just a light scent of what smelt like damp wood, it is wood pellets after all, it was strange that I couldn’t smell anything strong or overpowering, it is a multi cat household after all and I didn't really notice any litter tracking that I was used to seeing from other litters. They mentioned I continue with ozpet or I could change to whatever I preferred, crystal or tofu. Skeptical because I attempted to use this around 10 or so years ago and I didn’t have much success, maybe my old girl was just stubborn, it was hard to break an old habit and change from crystal litter. The breeder gave me a small sample bag of ozpet to take home, I know the time and effort it takes to change to another litter, it’s time consuming and being a new kitten I didn’t want to change any routines they were used to or stress them out while my fur baby settled in

This litter is truly amazing, no strong ammonia smell and clean up is quite simple. I also noticed the same distinctive smell and I only have my little one so with a multi cat household it’s definitely worth it. I read more online about this litter and realised this explained many reasons why there is no overwhelming odour All I do is scoop out the solid waste, shake and sieve the rest, the best part is that it’s environmentally friendly, just shake the litter tray directly into a garden or compost, the litter breaks down as it soaks and eventually dries. It truly is the best litter I have used and I’ve had many a cat/kitten

All I can say is there will be no more crystal litter for me, it’s high maintenance and can be quite expensive in the long run. Definitely using ozpet for many years to come

pinch sensors, which I ordered through Cat Evolution. The wrong ones came and Mary was extremely helpful and sent me the proper ones and also called me to tell me I could clean the sensors with jif cream.

The second issue was the robot getting stuck as it believed there was a cat inside the globe. Once again, Mary assisted me exceptionally and gave me some options to try to fix it. Ultimately we identified that the bonnet circuit board had been damaged. Mary gave me a workaround while I wait for the new board to arrive in the mail. Technically I could keep this solution instead of replacing the board, and it was Cat Evolution that told me this, so they don't treat their customers as just another profit stream.

If I could give Cat Evolution 6 stars I would. This business is the most helpful and reliable business I've dealt with in years. Mary's assistance has saved me time and money. This may sound like them just doing their jobs, but when I compare it to other businesses, they go out of their way to help their customers, and it is very clear they actually care about their customers.

So I will sing Cat Evolution's praises to anyone who will listen, and you can be assured that if you purchase a Litter Robot through them and have issues down the track, they will help you whenever you need it for as long as it takes to fix any problem.

recommendation. This litter is amazing, no bad smells what so ever, and so easy to scoop the poop. It doesn’t clump as much as traditional clay clumping litter but for some reason it doesn’t matter. It’s “more expensive” than some others but I am not going through as much. I can get away with scooping for about a month before I feel the need to do a full empty and reset. The litter does track a little as it is lightweight so can get stuck to fur and feet, however I’ve never found a litter that doesn’t track a little. $34.49 for a massive 30l bag from pet barn, I feel like this bag will last for 3 months atleast. I haven’t done a review in ages but this litter is so good it broke my drought.

Best clumping litter so far – Update 2025, experience over ~ 1.5 years: with 3 cat toilets shared by 2 cats, each 6.8 kg bag lasts a little over a month - so the marketing blurb… Read more

of 36 days for 2 cats is accurate.

Original review: This corn-based litter is excellent. Our 2 cats like clumping litter and the 2 cats’ house slaves (me and the other 2 humans at home) like litter that is easy to scoop with excellent odour control.

We recently transitioned from clay-based litter to the multi-cat version of this brand (the red bag) after some researching of greener, biodegradable litter and reading reviews. We did try tofu litter, but found that tofu stank from out of the packet as there is no odour control PLUS more importantly neither cats would touch it. (We have 3 litter boxes for 2 cats, and when we try a new litter, we put the new litter in 1 litter box then observe their behavior over the week.)

This corn-based litter is neutral-smelling out of the packet, and odour control is equal to or better than the cats’ previous clay clumping litters - Purina Tidy Cats and Arm & Hammer which seem to no longer be available in Australia, and Costco’s Scoop Away which was recently out of stock for some time.

The World’s Best produces very little dust and odour control and clumping is excellent. The corn-based litter clumps wee into easily scoopable balls with no leaks to the bottom of the tray. Tracking is slight. The only downside is the price. It is rather expensive at ~$69 for 12.7kg.

The slaves scoop and top up every day to keep the litter boxes fresh, and so far - about 2 weeks in - top ups seem to be needing a little less fresh litter than clay-based litters. However, we’ll need a couple of months to see if the claim that a 12.7 kg bag would last 2 cats 67+ days is accurate.
