Ankle-Biters Travel Chair Questions & Answers
Do you find the height of the seat vs the height of the table to be a problem? That is, can bub still reach the table for food? We are travelling overseas soon, where table vs. chair heights are likely to vary. I foresee it being very messy if you have to hand food down to bub. :)
It really depends from the age but I found it's much easier to arrange a little plastic plate on the chair itself with chopped pieces of food so it is directly down at bub grasp. I also used it a lot on restaurants toddler chairs in Asia, where they are at the correct height for the table but usually they don't have any straps! So the travel chair kept him secured in the chair.
No matter what you do, it's sure going to be messy, but at least you can wipe or wash it every day if needed. Ah, I also used to bring a tea towel with me, to put on the seat of the chair in case the chair was not particularly clean. Happy travels!
up to what child's age or weight can this product be used for, please?
hi, it is suitable from about 5 month old (as long as the child has a bit of neck control) up to about 2 1/2 years of age; after that they don't want to be strapped anyway :-)
