Ordered the steering lock cable. Paid only to find out the advertised price in Australia isn't in AUD. Got charged in USD. Not happy by being deceived. I give them a 1 star for being dishonest.
Bad product. Battery doesn’t last more then 3 minutes and they claim charge once a month. Customer care is also rubbish. I sent 3 emails and all they keep doing is try to convince me this is a wired camera needs to plug in.
I too found out the hard way that this "Australian" company has all their pricing in $US not $AU. It is not stated anywhere on their site. It is only after I had completed the purchase that I noticed USD. I asked to cancel the order and was told it had already been shipped, even though the tracking says it is waiting to be picked up. Be aware the pricing is a scam.
Despite the actual product being fit for purpose and seems reasonable quality, the company itself is the problem. It is borderline scammy in that it makes a big deal of being an all Australian company based in Australia and shipping from local warehouse BUT all its prices are in USD, not AUD, and this is NOT made clear or obvious on the shopping… Read more
or payment screens. On the shopping screens there is NO mention of it at all. It is buried on the T&Cs however. Many people including myself have found out only when the actual amount charged in your banking was about 35% higher due to conversion rate. When queried, they justified it by saying its because they also ship internationally. There is NO option to display in AUD. It would be very easy to advertise both prices or put an obvious statement on the front product shopping screen but they choose not to. They have interactive immediate 50% discount interactive screens to close the deal, but in reality you are paying way more than that. Not very honest in my opinion.
