First 6 months - Good, bad and the ugly
I've owned a paid of Airpod Pros for 6 months now. I love them, but Apple's service let me down.
In this review, I'll specifically comment on the good - wearing them (comfort), Noise Cancelling, Battery life, Touch Controls, Performance (sound), the bad, and finally, the ugly. Overall, I give them a 6.8/10.
Firstly, they are super comfortable, arguably the most comfortable in-ear type buds I’ve owned, corded or wireless. It comes with 3 x changeable silicon tips; small, medium, large, which are a welcomed addition serving multiple purp...

Rubbish product of apple
During call person on the other side cant hear properly. Contacted apple help 4 times in less than a month. Rubbish product of apple. Going for refund wasted times and efforts.

AirPods Pro is a Piece of rubbish
No volume control
Siri won’t work
Music comes on automatically. No way to disable that function.
Bought a plantronics product for $69 instead and everything works just fine.
AirPods Pro is an absolute Waste of money unless you just want to listen to music all day long.

Airpod pro is a rubbish
What a rip off rubbish airpod.. I’ve been using apple products for long and the only tech product. But i have to say apple airpod pro is a piece of rubbish, battery don’t last long, one side of airpod don’t work most of the times, connectivity issues.. don’t think I’ll be recommending this to anyone and won’t buy this again.

Lack of volume change functionality on physical device is a big miss for me.
The sound quality is great- love the noise cancellation function, and they’re very comfortable.
I often find myself in situations where I want to adjust the volume, but reaching for my phone is inconvenient and using hey Siri is disruptive. (on a phone call and the phone is in another room, or during a guided meditation, are a few examples)
Dropping two stars because the volume adjustment has proven to be a big pain point for me, one that I encounter almost daily.

Piece of crap for $400, really frustrating, disconnect very often, some time one side works other stop working.
Apple customer service can’t fix the issues.
Went to Apple shop Carindale have to wait 4 hours to get in, very poor customer service from Apple, blaming everything to Covid
Apple going crazy.

Great when they work
Hi, I bought these and had the left one fail after 2 days took it to the Apple Store and it was replaced then 2 days later the right one failed and again wait several days for an appointment, drive into Perth, pay $10 parking and have it replaced. I thought these are not reliable - I should buy AppleCare Plus just in case. Online, these are not eligible for AppleCare Plus! I start another epic Apple chat adventure, it turns out because I bought these from Optus Apple don’t recognise the purchase date and won’t provide AppleCare Plus! Crazy beca...use the AppleStore genius could see the purchase date online. After several hours of AppleCare chat hell I am able to enter the purchase date into a form and the be finally transferred to a contact specialist who will take my $49 and give me AppleCare Plus. Honestly if this was the only half a day I’d wasted recently I would write it of as a blip but this is the third epic 8 hour chat - call - chat adventure this month. The AirPod Pro’s are decent, the poor fit and slipping out can be resolved by purchasing Comply or CharJenPro ear tips in the correct size. They sound good, not excellent but way better than previous versions. I would recommend trying the Nuheara Max’s as for the same money they are a lot better. The AirPods are more trendy in appearance and have a smaller case but are not even close in sound quality or features.

Much more comfortable than previous gens
I had the first generation airpods for a couple of years and they were quite uncomfortable at first, too big for my ears. Although I did get used to them after a month or so.
These ones, the ‘pros’ were immediately extremely comfortable. The only complaint I have is the odd looking angle at which they stick out of my ears when in their most comfortable position but that may just be my ear shape. I have been told I have small ear canals.
The sound is fabulous. I’m not really a audiophile or anything, I just listen to music on the train on th...e way to work, perhaps the occasional netflix movie. But the best thing about these is the noise cancellation. I couldn’t believe it when I first put them in, before I even turned on the music, outsides sounds, a LOT of loud outside sounds, were muted almost completely! It’s so good for blocking out those noisy people on the trains. I’m coming home from a 12 hour night shift and I want to use my 1hr train trip to sleep! But someone will be having a loud conversation nearby which would keep me awake. No more! I was so reluctant to purchase these at a whopping AU$400 but I do not regret it one bit.
Purchased at Apple Physical store for $399.00.
I use this AirPods for multiple things like my zoom meetings for work, podcasts, Netflix and listening to music playlists for workouts. I only purchased them since working from home in March but I wish I got them sooner. They come with three ear bud options so they fit perfectly and the noise cancelling feature is so clear and crisp. They don’t fall out at all with physical activity. The sound volume is great and you can operate the sound and functions on the actual AirPods, so convenient. I would encourage anyone to buy there AirPods Pro, they’re so versatile and worth the money. Also, the extra ear buds are really helpful and they only come with the pro version. Such a game changer!!

For many years I’ve forked out for traditional, over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones like the very good Sennheiser.
Maybe not quite as good but so much easier - and half the price - the Apple AirPods Pro are simply superb, especially when they are so convenient.
Now, if I get to travel, my headphones hang off my belt loop rather than occupy a big part of my hand luggage.

Worth the money-very happy!
They are worth the money! I have an older Samsung and pairing was easy-just like any other bluetooth device. They don't fall out with movement either, which is perfect as I bought these primarily to use at the gym and while running. Sounds quality is great,-when your listening to a song you cant hear any background noise around you. Very Happy :) Would recommend

bad battery life and ear splitting low battery warning
I should have known after having faulty version 1 airpods- I've certainly learnt now. These things have a terrible battery life which I could live with if they didn't make such a loud noise when the battery runs out. They fit well and the noise cancelling works well too- and thats it. The battery life is next to useless and I'm returning them for a refund

It’s like honeymoon great at first than fades away !!
Purchased me AirPods Pro & was super excited first 2 weeks than left AirPod stop connecting for left side ...after some research & it fixed or problem...
1 week down the track same problem & now this time won’t connect at all from left side...
Bought from office works & they simply refuse to comment further & slide me to Apple store :(

Love them, cant go anywhere without them.
My airpods pro were uncomfortable for the first week of use but my ears gradually got accustomed to then and now they are comfortable enough to sleep with. I cant leave the house without them and i would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Perfect for everyday activities
I've had this for 6 months and although there are other brand with better noise. This will be perfect for your everyday use. Very convenient to bring and very easy to use.

Happy with them
Noise cancellation feature works well and nice to have the inner ear design. Only complaint is the charging/storage box is significantly larger than the regular airpods and the ear piece itself sticks out more in my ear. Battery life is short as well but still a good product!
Very happy with these
Swapped from Sony's to these and absolutely love the active noise cancelling, audio quality and call quality. Good for the gym as well as the earbuds don't fall out and feel nice and secure in ear.
A lot of problems
This is the first product that has noise cancellation made by Apple. The noise cancellation stopped working after two months, but Apple replaced a new pair of AirPods Pro for me for free. And then the noise cancellation stopped working again after another two months, and then Apple replaced for free again. Probably because this is the first time Apple try noise cancellation so it makes sense that this product could potentially have some design and manufacture problems. Another thing need to keep in mind is that my ears feel very painful after a long time of wearing.

Returned my airpods pro after 2 days!
What I liked about the Airpods pro was the idea seemed very promising. In reality I found them very uncomfortable, even painful. I tried all 3 ear tips, with no success. My right side airpod pro kept falling out. I found the noise cancellation feature high tech and very interesting. Although I am concerned this some how could damage your hearing. After wearing for two days my ears feel like I have pressure inside my ear drum, kinda like what you feel when you push a cutton bud in too far. I tried them for a solid two days and decided they were ...not for me & returned them. I ended up purchasing just the standards airpods 2. I must say they in comparison to the Pro's are comfortable and easy to live with & I would recommend them for sure. However getting back to the pro's, I was disappointed with them & sadly can not recommend purchasing them, unless you try them in the store first. They are way too expensive for something that was very uncomfortable and ended up hurting my ears. I understand there are good quality after market foam tips you can buy, which from my research may resolve some of the issues I had with pro's, however you will have fork out an extra $60 or so. I could not justify it nor did I want to risk spending more cash in case it didn't work. Sorry Apple, you get thumbs down from me on the Pro's & thumbs up on the standard Airpods 2.

Very happy with these
Been wanting to get in-ear headphones for a while and being an apple user thought i'd give these a go. Had them for about 6 months now and no problems at all.
Been using them all day every day pretty much for the last 3 months for working from home (due to Covid19) and they have been a life safer - no need to use phone, speakers, headsets or similar.
