*iPhone 15 – Quick Accurate Review* Launched Sept 2023, the iPhone 15 finally brings “Pro” features down to the base model, making it the best value iPhone for most people in 2024/2025. a2ef *What’s new & good* *1. Design + USB-C* - Same 6.1" size, but contoured edges + matte back glass make it more comfortable to hold - Dynamic Island replaces… Read more

the notch, adding live activities/multitasking - USB-C finally replaces Lightning - IP68 water resistance to 6m, Ceramic Shield front glass ddd9d9d7

*2. Display* 6.1" Super Retina XDR OLED, 1179x2556, HDR10, Dolby Vision. Gets extremely bright: 1000 nits HBM, 2000 nits peak. Excellent color accuracy. Downside: Still 60Hz, no Always-On Display. Bezels thicker than Pro models. d9d7ddd9

*3. Camera – Big upgrade* New 48MP f/1.6 main camera with sensor-shift OIS. By default it outputs 24MP photos using pixel binning. Adds a useful 2x “telephoto” crop from the main sensor. 12MP ultrawide, no autofocus or macro. 12MP f/1.9 selfie with PDAF. Photo/video quality is “great across all three cameras”, with 4K@60fps Dolby Vision HDR, Cinematic mode 4K@30fps. Consumer Reports rated main camera “very good” with top results for color, exposure, sharpness. d9d756e18d183545ddd901aa

*4. Performance* A16 Bionic chip from iPhone 14 Pro: 6-core CPU + 5-core GPU. 6GB LPDDR5 RAM. Still top of CPU charts, only beaten by A17 Pro. “Great all-around performance”. d9d770bcddd9

*5. Battery life* 3349mAh battery. Apple claims up to 20 hours video playback. Tested Active Use Score: 13:20 hours, beating Galaxy S23 and Pixel 8. Consumer Reports measured 40.5 hours, “above-average”. Charging: 50% in 30 min wired, 15W MagSafe, 7.5W Qi. No charger in box and charging isn’t particularly fast. d9d7a2ef7e9601aaddd9

*6. Software/Support* iOS 17 out of box. Apple gives “at least five years of iOS updates”. Includes Crash Detection, satellite connectivity. d9d7ddd9a2ef

*The cons* - *60Hz display* feels dated vs Android rivals at this price - *No telephoto lens* and no autofocus on ultrawide = no macro - *Slow charging* and no charger included - *More expensive* than Android alternatives with similar specs - *iOS restrictions* can frustrate if you’re new to Apple ddd93545

*Specs at a glance* iPhone 15 Display 6.1" OLED, 1179x2556, 60Hz, 2000 nits peak Chip A16 Bionic, 6GB RAM Storage 128GB/256GB/512GB NVMe Camera 48MP main + 12MP ultrawide, 12MP selfie Battery 3349mAh, ~13:20h active use Port USB-C, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.3 Price Starts \$799 USD d9d77e968d18

*Verdict* If you don’t need ProRAW, Action button, or 5X zoom, the iPhone 15 gives you 80% of the iPhone 14 Pro experience for $100+ less. Best for people who want a compact, reliable iPhone with excellent camera and battery, and can live with 60Hz. a2ef

The iPhone 15 Plus is the same phone with 6.7" screen and even longer battery life if you prefer big screens. 3545a2ef

Want me to compare it to iPhone 14 or Galaxy S24 so you can decide?

Good phone does everything you need a smartphone to do. Pro max is a great size for people like me who constantly put down their phone and then can’t remember where as it is visible. I have tried other smartphone but always gone back to Apple. Show details

Decent, but about time to have new features – Not a bad overall phone. It still does the job and I love the size. Can’t really see an improvement in battery usage or the camera though. It would be nice to have useful new features. Show details

Terrible IPhone 15 pro Max – Screen unresponsive, after 5 months, doesn’t charge with Its Or any charger. Only works with Wireless charger. It has 2 years warranty, took it to High Point Apple Store for Repair, they told us they have to format all and We have to take it to 3rd party to recover data At our own Cost, which will cost 700 to 1600. Why we need to pay for their… Read more

Faulty Product Created Problems. I have been A loyal Apple Customers. I will be Buying Chinese Phone rather than Apples Now. Doesn’t cost a Fortune Which I spent.$3000. For smart enjoyable device, not for extra stress.

It’s worth the upgrade for the features, but 12 pro max was better – It’s good but it smashed on the corner when I dropped it and the phone 12 pro max never got a crack even though it went through a chaotic time! Props to the 12, she was Unbreakable. The 15 has great new features but the camera seems to be the same if not worse than the 12 as the auto focus seems to struggle and sometimes never focuses. The zoom… Read more

camera is trash, 12 had a better zoom quality image.

The back of the phone and the front screen going just above the camera and speaker is really satisfying too. Over all I think it’s worth the upgrade but $3k is a lot to pay for it, even though I needed the memory, it still asks me to pay for back up.

In line with expectations – As someone who's been using the iPhone 15 since its release in September 2023, I've had ample time to form a solid opinion about it. Here's my take: Price Point: First off, the pricing is surprisingly reasonable. I got the 128GB model for $799, which felt like a good deal considering the tech packed inside. The options for 256GB and 512GB at $899… Read more

and $1099 respectively also seem fair.

Performance: In terms of performance, this phone doesn't disappoint. Whether I'm gaming, scrolling through social media, or taking photos, everything runs smoothly. It's speedy and efficient, making it a great choice for everyday us.

Camera Quality: While I'm no professional photographer, the camera capabilities are impressive. I've taken some stunning shots that look great on social media. It's definitely a step up from previous models.

Overall Experience: My overall experience with the iPhone 15 has been overwhelmingly positive. It balances affordability with performance in a way that makes it a suitable choice for most users. It's not just another iPhone; it feels like a genuinely thoughtful upgrade.

To sum it up, the iPhone 15 is a robust and user-friendly device that offers great value for its price. It's definitely a mainstream iPhone worth buying.
