Surprisingly great!! – I bought this bike on a whim as my friend was selling one with very low kms. Oh my goodness!!! It's awesome!! It looks fantastic, rides great thanks to the Aprilia frame, that little Rotax 125cc 2T engine really gets going and even though I'm 100kgs, it feels like strapping myself to a little rocket. The gears are short enough to have fun and will… Read more
get me to a top of around 150km/h and I suspect more if I were lighter. It does require top quality oil, fuel and iridium spark plug to be happy, though and not a bike for someone looking for something that will run on cheap stuff. This is a premium Italian bike and will leave Japanese and Korean alternatives behind in almost every way.
Excellent – what you actually recieve from this fantastic piece of machinery is a work of art. Yes people ay it it a little bit more expensive but when you car dollar for dollar to a Honda VTR 250 the amount of quality components that you get on it is amazing. And then you compare it to the new Ducati 848 and yes that it an amazing bike don't get me wrong but… Read more
for the money how can you go wrong with the rs125. easiest way to increase power take off the rear pillion pegs. and love the blue smoke in the morning. great power, great looks, people on Yamaha R1's don't know what hit them for the first 30-50 meters starting in winter.
Beautiful, addictive, challenging – I thought I would grow out of this 'learner bike' within months and be craving an upgrade. I think I'll keep this one forever ! Yes, it's more expensive than any of the four-stroke 250s, it's even more than some of the LAMS 650s. It will cost more to run. You need to put 98RON fuel in it and the best 2T oil. It will use more fuel than a 250. It… Read more
smells ( great ! ). People will ask you why it sounds like a lawnmower.
None of this matters, it will give you the full GP experience, even commuting and riding well within the speed limits.
If you want one, get it now. The two-stroke RS125 will soon be replaced by the RS4/125 - a four-stroke with half the power. The new bike won't have the top-level components either. Goes, stops, turns, looks great. Hard to think of anything 'wrong'.
