Had nothing but problems since it was installed on the first day – The day my archer was installed it needed new parts. We have had to replace about 6 parts all up and now its dead, so I'm up for a new heater. Everytime we tried dealing with archer they were rude and aggressive. And often would send the wrong parts that we had to pay for. I will never recommend an archer. August 10th 2018 Update: Re my past review.
I was sent an inbox with archer telling me they would fix my heater free of charge, and they asked me to call them. I have called them twice now and the person that i need to speak to is out of the office and will return my call. Its been 3 weeks since my first call to them and surprise surprise still no return call.
Maybe i should contact everyone who has had problems with their archer and we could talk about a class action;

Getting old need repair – Good fire but need a good gas tech to solve problems not many techs will have a go at these heaters this has been a good heater but has had several problems recently this maybe time for a new heater expensive heater but they are extremely efficient and will heat large areas .

Hello r smith,back on the 21st July we sent you a private message witch we got no response. Don't buy one of these heaters unless you are a qualified Plumber/gasfitter!! – Purchased an Archer IS200 gas log heater which was installed on 27/5/2015. Three weeks later to the day it stopped working. Paid just on $5000 inclusive of installation. After 2 days, Plumber Hubby got it going again. Still no repairer sent to inspect it. NO after sales service!! Don't buy unless you can fix yourself.
Not Happy Jan! Hello! Gee this isn't a great review and I'm sorry to read about this experience. I can't seem to find anything on file that match these series of events so if you could please contact head office on 03)97958895 I would love the opportunity to rectify this opinion.
