Arizon
1 review
Disappointing Service and Ongoing Technical Issues – I own a caravan equipped with 1250W solar panels, a 3000W inverter, and four 300Ah Arizon lithium batteries (totalling 1200Ah). Since acquiring it, I have encountered numerous issues with battery autonomy and functionality. Technical Issues • Inconsistent Battery Readings: The charge percentage on the Victron monitor drops abruptly, for instance, from 70% to 0% within minutes, which is inconsistent with the battery voltage. Despite multiple resets, these issues persist. • Overload and Overheating Alerts: Using appliances such as a coffee machine, air conditioning, or microwave triggers overload alerts, even though these devices should not cause issues for a system of this capacity. Additionally, intermittent overheating alerts appear without clear cause. • Abnormal Charging Behaviour: During charging, the charge percentage sometimes jumps instantly from 70-80% to 100%, even though charging continues for several hours. This could point to a fault with the BMS or the charge controller.
Disappointing Customer Service
After months of unresolved issues, I discovered that Arizon only responds to requests made via social media. More troublingly, after expressing my frustration, Arizon blocked my access to their Facebook page, preventing further communication. It appears they prioritise their social media image over after-sales support and customer satisfaction.
Conclusion
For equipment of this calibre, I expected responsive and competent after-sales service. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience. I urge anyone considering Arizon products to think carefully, as their technical support seems very limited, if not non-existent.
