beat, and I did a lot of technical research before signing. I installed a Solis 5kW inverter and 6kW of Jinko panels on my roof. The SunSelect service was so fantastic, that this month, April 2026, I just got them to arrange and upgrade to add a 42kW FoxESS house battery. This took full advantage of the government rebate scheme. I estimate my return on my investment to be 4 years, but the equipment is warranted for 10 years and will hopefully last 20 years. I was so pleased with these guys that I introduced SunSelect to 3 other friends, who have had similar excellent experiences, so I can't recommend these guys enough :-)

Would give 0 if I could. 1. Failed to disclose costs associated with finance when I asked for all costs associated with finance. 2. My application sat for a month waiting for grid approval. When I rang, they said they were waiting for a photo of the installation site which I had already provided. 3. They kept insisting I provide 6mm cement… Read more

sheeting for fireproofing when the wall it was being installed on is all ready made of 9mm cement sheeting. 4. Insisted I remove the timber trim from the wall for fire safety and then screwed plywood sheet on wall to hang inverter. 5. Cabling from inverter to battery not in conduit and refuse to correct or provide details as to why it doesn't need to be covered as per Australian Standards. 6. Refuse to supply and fit manufactures cable cover because it does not come in the box despite manufacture saying the cover makes the inverter compliant in Australia. 7. I suspect they screen calls. When I call the phone rings once then hangs up. 8. I have left dozens of messages over several months and have received only two call backs. I have had to chase them the whole process. 9. No manufactures documentation. 10. Promised a refund to compensate for incorrect information and have still not received it weeks after installation.

In the photos below you can see that no conduit has been used on the battery cables as required by the Australian Standards. The cables have been left the same length as they came out of the box and just coiled up with wire ties and shoved behind the battery.

Great to work with. Got a 42kw FoxESS battery system installed. Had some payment issues from my end but Max from Sun Select was very understanding and willing to work with me while I sorted it out. existing solar, my battery had to be on the opposite side of the house from my existing solar inverter and switchboard, and I am double story. Archi and Charlie kept me up to date on the install. Install was initially delayed and re-scheduled for a week or so later. The actual install was very good, they were prompt and tidy and consulted me along the way on the day of the install. The finished job was good. The install team friendly and helpful, including setting up the app. I got quotes from suppliers that were much more expensive and wanted to replace everything. Yes it would be more efficient but it just was not worth the extra money. Overall I would use Sun Select again.
