Hi I have and air con unit PA1210 and it displays a P2 fault. What is it and how do I resolve it?

Do I need to put any water in to get cool air ? Or is water only associated with the dehumidifying process ?

The instruction manual is here: external link

It does not show a P2 code. PF is a sensor failure. Perhaps write a note to Arlec on custservice@arlec.com.au

Just bought mine from Bunnings yesterday Arlec Pa1210. Working beautifully however 10 minutes ago, I walked into the room and an error came up on display pad Ft and then a little triangle. Please does anyone know what this is?

Hi! I suspect it means the little condensation tank at the bottom of the unit is full of water. There is a drain plug - remove it and drain the water into a shallow tray like a baking tin flat enough to get under the drain opening.

Mine has that same error code but the tank is empty - I've pulled out the rubber plug and nothing comes out. Also tried restarting it,

Personal preference. The air doesn't blow cooler if you use a lower temperature so to speak. It just keeps blowing cooled air until it reaches the temperature you set. Does it feel cold? Have you selected the refrigeration (cool) mode? You can use this unit to pull some moisture out of the humid air. There is a mode for that giving a better dehumidification performance than normal cooling mode.

Do you get the snow flake symbol when you use the mode button to set on cool?
