Armor All Car Wash

Perfect for me – Suits my needs for an uncomplicated hand wash of my car. 1 capful to a scant bucket of water, "chux"it on wet car, light rinse off with fresh water. This is OK but i would not use it on the car again – Bought this to test another car wash as I used to use it about 10 years ago and now I am more into car detailing I thought that I will give it another go and compare it with more recent car washers. lubricity in the bucket so you have to be very careful of not micro marrying your cars clear coat when you wash. Even with 2 bucket car wash, you have to be very careful with it. I have also tried in the foam gun at up to 100ml to 500ml water and the foam it produces is really bad. The only good thing about it is the price, the fact that they only recommend 30ml to 9L bucket and that it rinses cleanly even in the sun, also its Aussie made under licence. Given all of the above, I would not recommend using this wash on your car. I now use it to wash my fly screens, shutters, skirting boards and fans in the house (trying to find the use for the product lol). I sometimes use it on the car wheels but for that, i would recommend the Green stuff from Armor All.

chamois gives a fantastic shine to my 10 year old car. I even use it on the hub caps and the sheen on the car is just so amazing. definitely thumbs up for this product.

Does the job, and does it well – If you use a generous amount (at least a few capfuls) this is a very effective product. It's not that expensive. If you do that it cleans well no matter how dusty or dirty your car or caravan is. Works well with the pressure washer and a proper wand. It even cleans your colorbond fencing well!

great for the dirtiest car wash – Have used Armor All for years. Washes all dirt and grime off my 4x4 and leaves a streak free finish. All you need to do is wash off the suds after wash and then chamois dry. Good prices too, just bought a 1.25 ltr for $6.00 at leading auto outlet. Peter

Cleans well, suds well and is ph balanced – What can i say about this product, its cheap but it works great. No polymers so you don't get the water beeding effect and yes there are better car wash products there but you will not find a better product for 2x its price. At $6-$7 its an absolute bargain. Woolies/Coles seem to be the cheapest, Supercheap specials make this the same price as the stock Woolies/Coles

Good, cheap wash – Armor All have Wash and Wax which is better for a margin more. I usually buy what is on sale between Armor All or Turtle wax. There are other brands like Mothers that advertise a soft wash gel. Your washing a car not a baby. As long as it is an auto wash your buying a marking gimmick.

No nonsense product – Works well, cheaper than the meguairs car wash. cleans the car well. Works best if you use a few capfuls of detergent to about a quater of a bucket of water for a concentrated wash. Good product if you just want to wash your car and are not too serious about car care.
