Wish I'd found this earlier – I've had everything from show cars to 4x4, boats etc. I've never seen anything that can get old stains out of fabrics without discolouring like this stuff does. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Show details

The best way to clean dirty (White) Grout! – We recently decided to get into cleaning the white grout on our 2003 built home. The grout had black dirt imbedded & we went through the list of name brand grout cleaners with very little success. Flood washing was out of the question because of MDF bulkheads in the large kitchen area and there were already signs of some water damage from past… Read more

moping. After all the various not so secret recipe's & grout cleaner failures I was doing some cleaning in the garage & was using an Armourall product which now (with it's new labeling) lists as a "General Purpose Cleaner with antibacterial properties". I had used this product for years but mostly for rubber seals on fridges & car things. I already has some grout brushes purchased from Bunnings & decided to try out my idea of using the Armourall. Most grout cleaners you spray on & agitate with a brush & leave for a short period of time then wash off & rinse with clean water. The procedure was spray the grout line to wet well doin about a square meter at a time (I had about three areas going in rotation) then allow to sit for at least 10 minutes then re-agitate & if really dirty areas scrub a bit more vigorously. Best to use two bucket of rinse water. Wipe of excess Armourall cleaner with a damp microfiber towel then rinse off with a microfiber wetted from the clean rinse water. Allow to dry overnight, you can put down some clean old sheets to protect the floor if you need to walk on it. The following day inspect & if needed patch the grout (we used Dunlop Liquid Grout) Then use a grout sealer to protect your work. We used "Aqua Mix Sealer's Choice Gold", an expensive product but works well & a small amount goes a long way. It will also not change the natural look of you tiles. There are quite a few options here if you don't want to spend $130/L on the Aqua Mix. Use a microfiber mop/pad applicator, about $15 from Bunnings, it will take a fraction of the time of trying to brush on & a roller just puts on to much sealer. For outdoor grout we have used Finish Napisan & pressure washing but it is a case of being able to wash away all the suds caused by that method. This method works well if you have hardwood stains. Armourall is still an outside option too but I would finish of with pressure washing after doing the entire area.

Works pretty well with a few tips – Selling a Jeep and needed to clean up dark cloth upholstery interior (got kids, so you know..). Worked pretty well but I’d suggest some modifications. Hold the nozzle of the cab right up to the seat (almost touching) when applying otherwise tends to spurt everywhere. Apply over as much of the surface as you can then work in with a soft brush. Then scrub (instructions say blot) with a damp microfibre cloth. Show details

This is awesome! – Listen I’m not sure about the review about bleaching the carpet... but I can confirm I purchased the product and used on my dark grey fabric couch, I followed the instructions and my gosh it looks good considering I purchased it 5 years ago and it’s smelling fresh again Show details

If you have Allergy or sinus this is not for you – I dont have a problem with its effectiveness as it appears to lift out the stain by bubbling BUT I was in bed with sinus pain after for 2 days. I actually tried to hold my breath while treating but still managed to breathe the fumes. I did not experience this with Selleys similar product.

Used it on a second-hand car – I recently impulsively bought a second-hand car because I urgently need it for work. There were sand and stains all over the car seat and the carpet. Premium wash costs more so I tried checking Supercheap for products. This was not the cheapest cleaner in the aisle but I gave it a go and I never regret it! Amazing product that works! And now I bought all the other ArmorAll range for my car.

Will bleach your carpet – We tried it as directed on our carpet which is not old. It bleached it according to the professional cleaners we had to call in... they said there was nothing they could do to fix our carpet. So now we have patches all over our living room carpet where the product was used.

It works! – We bought this for the purpose of cleaning the car seat after my son spilt chocolate milk, it worked so good that I decided to try it on the couch. With 2 sons our couch gets all kinds of grime on it, food, drink, grease, dirt. After one clean my couch looked like new! I now clean the couch about once a week and it has kept pretty good, the price… Read more

worried me at first but after trying some cheaper brands they just don't clean as well. Because it foams you don't need to use a lot, I get about 15 cleans out of a can. Works great, smells nice. Can be costly
