Armor All Heavy Duty Car Wash

Car wash – Used it won't recommend it wouldn't use it to clean your toilet USELESS!
Ok suds, OK wash but nothing special – Got to try this soap recently as I have managed to get it at 50% off. At that price and with a car that has not been washed for about 5 weeks I thought that I will give it a go at 60ml to about 11L of water. At that concentration, it foams ok to good, however I have found that the water did not have much lubricity. It was below average from a range of about 20 car washes that I have tried. It cleaned the car well and it left it shinny so an OK wash but nothing special. With low lubricity of the solution, you need to be gentler with your microfiber wash mitt or you may accidentally scratch the car. Also at 60ml the pressure rinse required an extra spray so again its about average for a rinse off. Overall, I would recommend this wash on cars that are well maintained, with a concentration of about 60ml to 11L or about 60ml to 9L. I would say at 30ml it would be below average wash at 50ml it is about average of the cheap bunch.
Strong clean (for a car shampoo) – This product is quite good if you use it for what it was designed to do.. ie strong clean. Its relatively strong as car soaps go but that means it cleans well. The issue with the ph7 or ph neutral soaps is that they clean surface dirt and dust but do nothing on the oils and other traffic film that builds up on the car as you drive esp in the wet. The surface appears to be clean but its not really clean. extreme example being the oily pan, if you just put cold water (PH neutral) on it how well does it clean the deep oils? You need non PH neutral soap, this soap is PH7.7 to 8 (still mild) and it cuts through grime with ease. The only issue i have is that you need to add a little more to your bucket to get the lubricity of high end product but at its price.. who cares if extra 2 cups go in. I also use it as a mild wheel cleaner. Most wheel cleaners are strong PH solutions so if i want something gentle i use this.
Armor All Heavy Duty Car Wash – Bought Armor All Heavy Duty Wash ($7.00) from Big W on 6/11/16. Have used Heavy Duty Wash (green one) for years. Bought new container and immediately noted obvious difference in viscosity. Previous product was like a gel and new product runs like water. Had small dirt marks on roof of Prado. It did not remove these marks, using the product according to directions (6 caps to bucket) and with a cotton cloth car wash mitten. In the end, had to use neat product (undiluted) on the cloth and rub quite firmly to remove what I would consider normal dirt marks. Not impressed.
Good value for my work vehicle – It's super, ultra, mega concentrated. The smallest amount results in a soapy bucket of suds. It smells nice, kind of fruity. Limes, maybe? Citrus at least, I can tell that much. It is extremely strong and makes my skin break out and go all itchy! It is strong stuff and I would not use it on a nice car or on a car that I was detailing or trying to take good care of. This is the type of stuff you'd apply with a brush or a sponge, not a microfiber cloth if you understand my drift. I use it on my work ute. Leaves paint bare and exposes clearcoat and leaves it in need of waxing if you're into that sort of thing. On my work ute I don't care about this and I don't care if my clear coat gets hammered. I soak my ute with this stuff, rub it all over with a sponge to remove mud, grime, bird excrement and tree sap and then i hose it off. It works well but my hands are itchy just thinking about it. cheap, highly concentrated, strong makes my skin itchy. gotta wear gloves
