Looks really good but... Gas contrllers only work over 20° of the 90° arc making precise control impossible. The wok burner is cooler than the large ring burner and isn't hot enough for a wok. The tall right oven burns everything at the rear and undercooks at the front. The sliding shelves are tricky, but where you really really need one - in… Read more

the grill - you can't fit one. Nothing was put together well, fans rub on other parts and make horrible noises. Nuts and bolts loose everywhere. The black side to finish is great! Easy to clean. Don't buy.

Rubbish – We bought a new oven one element broke in 2weeks and the workman broke the clock. Then oven door exploded inwards and shattered. Will not replace oven but replaced glass. Utter rubbish for the price. Show details

Seems like an OK oven for the price – Oven itself is ok for what you get at this price point this day. However there were few major issues: - pre installed components are all for LPG - gas power collaboration needs to be done manually - user manual is VERY basic and doesn't cover everything in a great detail. thanks to google / youtube Minor things: - legs on the over are very… Read more

short (below standard kitchen top) replacement can be purchased from most hardware stores (Bunnings)

- clock on the oven are useless, they look to match the over but mostly unusable (viewing angle is not great as well)

Finally a great Freestanding stove! – To start with we were replacing one of those led electric stove tops, which frankly I wouldn't recommend to my enemy, Finally time to get rid of it. But I was worried buying the unfamiliar Artusi brand stove at first. Delivery of the Artusi AFR935B was timely. A few adventures though, as we are on LPG gas (bottle) the correct connector was… Read more

missing. A call to Artusi and the connector was sent out, but alas to the wrong address! Another call and 2 days later the connector arrived, but it was the incorrect one. The gas fitter easily modified it to fit. We assumed the stove top was set up for Natural Gas (it comes with 2 sets of jets, 1 set for Natural Gas and 1 set for LPG), so we swapped the jets (takes about 2 minutes) but it was in fact set up for LPG so had to swap them back. No big issue, just make sure you keep all the bits and bobs when you unpack the stove!

Service: the people at Artusi were great, getting everything sorted relatively quickly and although it was frustrating at the time, they did what they could do. I thank them for that.

Electricity was connected first (waiting on LPG parts) and the right hand side oven was making a clanking noise, another call to Artusi and within a few hours the service department called to arrange a time to fix it. Again timely and although annoying, it was sorted quickly and the fix was simply the matter of straightening a bracket. (I guess it could have moved out of alignment during transit),

Performance: I have owned a lot of gas and electric stoves over the years but this unit is a stunner. I cant ever remember having any stove that even comes near to the performance of this one.

Grill (electric): absolutely amazing, I have never had a grill like this. It is temperature adjustable and instead of getting cardboard dry chops you get evenly grilled juicy chops (grilled at 180c), also grilled eggplant and again they turned out great. Nice even grilling and retains the required amount of juiciness (of course if you like the cardboard type you can always grill it at a higher temperature and or for longer). 10/10

Bottom Oven (electric) Wow this thing works like a steam oven so watch out when opening the door as the steam escapes but everything cooked so far comes out juicy and boy can it crackle pork! Oh my god can it crackle pork, did I mention it can crackle pork! (ps we don't use salt on the crackle!) In the past everytime we crackled pork the side would remain soft, but not in this oven. Also cooked some 'sun dried tomatoes' and they came out amazing too. 10/10

Right hand side oven (electric): Once fixed this oven seems to heat drier than the bottom oven and according to the book is best for biscuits and pastries etc, so I had a crack at making pies etc. Wow the pastry crusts perfectly, evenly and looks like it came from a bakery! Nice, even gold looking crust for the first time in my life! woohoo 10/10

Cooktop (LPG Gas): This gas cooktop is a revelation. The old electric cooktop we had was great at begin too hot, too cool, taking for ever to warm up or cool down and burning everything to the bottom of the pan. But the Artusi cooktop (ah to have gas again) is awesome, the heat across the bottom of the pan is so even its eerie. We have made pasta sauces, jam, curries, stirfrys, garlic prawns, and not only is the flavor amazing, the heat is so even and controllable we have not yet had one instance of food burning onto the bottom of our stainless steel cookware (they are not non-stick types). Double woohoo. Again 10/10

Overall the unit seems to be well built (love the handles) is easy to operate, and easy to clean. I was concerned witch the black colour but so far not one scratch on it from the pots and pans and it seems to be non-stickish, a simple wipe in most cases (we had one or two sticky spills we left a damp rag on to soften them) and its clean, so easy cleaning. All the oven shelves work well and are very easy to slide. Finding trays to fit in the Right Hand Side oven was a bit of a struggle at first, but once we got our head around the size needed we were able to get some from our local cookware shop and supermarket.

So in summary a few issues to start with, which Artusi sorted out as quickly as they could, but so far this oven stands head and shoulders above anything I have ever used before and has rekindled our love of cooking. I would highly recommend this stove. Tonight, grilled ribs!. Cant wait!

Multiple faults and crap service – artusi says there avens come ready to go natural gas. WRONG. It came with LPG jets. Fan on grill makes a buzzing noise Fan on side oven warps and hits metal as the oven heats up. Cant adjust the gas and neither could the tech they sent out. my advise DO NOT BUY AN ARTUSI.
