Best legal hill climber for under $3000 – This e-bike configuration is the best, cheapest and legal way to propel me at 125kgs(human)+28kgs(bike and battery) up almost any hill, as I do need to hoof it up super steep inclines. At 55 years of age, there's no way I would ride the 28km round trip daily commute (including 290m uphill) without one of these. The motor/gearbox/frame is… Read more

super-sturdy and all the brakes/gear cluster/derailleur are Shimano so easy to replace/source spares and older batteries/driveshafts/controller can still be sourced from the manufacturer. Get one of these if you can't afford the German version and don't trust the bolt-on mid-drives.

Best after sales service I received – I bought my Aseako Sport second hand on Ebay 8 months ago and on the weekend I had a problem with the drive unit which was not engaging the crank. I phoned the service line on the Monday and spoke to Brett. I was not expecting the help I received from him as I did not buy the bike from him. He explained in detail what the problem could be and ran… Read more

me through the procedure of fault finding followed by video and documents. I diagnosed the problem on Monday night, ordered the part at 1pm Tuesday and had the part in my hand by 10am Wednesday morning. My bike is now up and running thanks to Brett. It is very difficult in this day and age to receive the outstanding assistance that i received from Brett. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends or anyone looking to buy an Electric Bike based on the after sales service i received. Thank you.

Couldn't wish for better service and backup – We had owned our bikes (1 for my wife and 1 for me) for just on a year and they had never missed a beat, not a complaint. Then wouldn't you know it we came back from holiday and mine developed a fault. I live on the Sunshine Coast, (a part of the world that hasn't caught up with electric bikes yet) and couldn't find anyone to look at it. Brett… Read more

rang around for me, found someone to do the job AND took care of the whole thing for me. I was already impressed with the bike and now very impressed with the back up and service A1, thank you.

Love my bike – I've had my Aseako for almost five years. I'm on my second battery. Nothing has ever gone wrong. Of course it's heavier than your old push bike. It has a battery and a motor and needs a sturdier frame to support that extra weight. Before you buy (1) is it supplied with a genuine SAMSUNG lithium battery? Don't accept a cheaper one and (2) can it be… Read more

supplied with proper pedals instead of the cheap and nasty slippy, dangerous ones I got? No problems ever with my bike.

Responsible service even after 2+ years – I had a problem with noise in the gearbox of my bike within a few months after I bought it in Oct 2011. While there were initial problems with communication, the problem was addressed and solved under warranty. Recently the bike had a recurrence of the problem with the gearbox, and while it was initially difficult to get in touch with him, as… Read more

soon [name removed] learned about my problem, he offered to help me get it back on the road asap.

It is good to know someone cares for their product reliably beyond warranty terms.
