FRUSTRATING FOR THE COST

published

We are currently experiencing the same issues as the above review. Have had an ASKO qualified tech out 3 times and another tech has just been booked. We have also been told the same advice regarding lower wattage cooking in order to solve the problem. Our next call will be for replacement. We also replaced a stand-alone microwave during a kitchen reno.

Purchased in May 2019.

Doesnt work half the time Hopeles frustrating

published

We had a $250 samsung microwave that I threw out when we did our kitchen reno. Big mistake. This overpriced piece of rubbish from Asko worked well in the beginning now ,more often than not it does not heat at all. It goes through the charade of a countdown with no actual cooking going on. We have to turn it off at the power source and reboot it to get it to work. This is an overpriced white elephant. The Asko tech said “this never happens” couldn't figure out what was wrong. Told us to only cook on low wattage. We complied but again no cooking. Do not buy this overpriced rubbish.

Purchased in July 2019 for $2,600.00.

Please advise if the 2019 (two) reviews non-operating issues have been resolved yet, Graham Mattison.

Our Microwave has been working fine with no issues since our initial issues were looked at by separate Asko techs. In order for it to work like a normal microwave ensure that when you are setting up the cooking time/temperature you have the first microwave setting/icon showing 'Microwave' and not 'My Microwave'. This will give you the ability to select the power option on the next step. Not sure what the 'My Microwave' option is for as we haven't used it or asked any further questions.
