I was very disappointed with the service I received. I had planned to use your team for further work, but I’ll now need to look elsewhere. Upon further questioning, it became clear that the issue wasn’t rubbish in the truck but a double booking. The details and timing provided simply didn’t add up.
The subcontractors eventually arrived at 11:00 am — two hours later than scheduled. It then took them over an hour to move a single couch down one flight of stairs. During this time, the supervising person had to leave the site, and when she returned, no progress had been made. This gave the strong impression that the delay may have been intentional. A third person was eventually brought in by the removalists to assist, which incurred an additional fee. * I note that the couch was originally moved into the house with the neighbour and his son, who are not professional removalists.
To add to this, the removalists forgot to load the couch cushions, which caused a further delay of about half an hour- again, time we were charged for.
We were initially told that a discount would be applied due to the disruption. However, we were later informed this was no longer an option and were charged full price plus additional costs for the extra person and other things. I understand that things sometimes go wrong, but in this case I would have expected the discount to be honoured, which would have gone a long way in alleviating the concerns raised.
Terrible service - do not recommend – Made the original booking through "Easyway Removes" but I later learnt that the booking was made through this place. all off, their truck had damaged the exterior of the building, which I was unaware until the body corp reported this to my real estate agent. I ended up having to pay $450 to repair this as they refused to take ownership of the damage. Appalling service and strongly encourage that you don't use them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! – A BUNCH OF LIARS - Beware moving company scams We booked a 10 tonne truck - was sent a half-sized small truck It took more trips and time due to lack of space. Dented our wall - was never repaired Two slow movers - very bad attitude and show no moving experiences at all After move, they requested $240 extra cash for stairs fee (tips) which is ridiculous. They then stayed in my house and didn't leave till we pay for the stairs fee.
Atrocious - do yourself a favour - don’t book them – Booked 2 weeks prior and confirmed the day before. Received a call at the time of the move by another company saying Asky couldn’t make it and he was ‘rescuing ‘us. However he wanted to charge an extra $200 for stairs and could only arrive 4 hours later. Had little choice at this late stage. Tried calling Asky dozens of times and emailed with no reply .think this is a scam company.
Pathetic – I booked My move via phone call & then confirmed by 2 separate emails. The truck was booked for 1pm to move my furniture from a 2 bedroom house .. only moving 15 minutes down the highway. me straight back! She finally called me back at 6.10pm with no ETA!! Very poor service.. in fact NO SERVICE!!! Of course I went elsewhere & booked a truck with a lovely company for the following morning

they will come from 1 to 2 pm.
I have started to call them at 1:30 pm they don't answer.tried to call the head office the coordinator lady said that she will contact them and will get back to me ( every time she says that she never get back to me). I called her again and she says that they don't answer her as well and that means that they are still in their first job.
I kept waiting and trying to call them till 3:30 pm, then the coordinator lady starts to suggest another movers. the new mover called me saying that they will arrive by 5 pm,and I told him that is very late and I need one who can arrive earlier than that.
After a long time of negotiations ,a lot of calls and trying to cancel the job from their side. she said that there is a movers at the next suburb who can arrive after 10 min.Finally I have started my moving at 6 pm.
We have spent 5 hours of delay, stress time, wasting our moving day and delayed the hand over of the old house.
Highly unprofessional – Your people were rude and unprofessional. I'm telling everyone about it. First the movers forgot the tools for my bed at my old apartment. cross to withdraw n kept saying how they have another job multiple times and then suddenly they wanted to stay on for longer to help it seemed cuz theyre now free despite telling them I needed the bay cleared cuz it wasn't booked for the day and isn't possible. N they charged me 650 while they did only work worth 500 bucks because they needed tips apparently and kept harassing how they weren't paid enough. When I told the movers to roll out the carpets they kept arguing how it wouldn't fit n wanted it rolled to which I had to yell n say I need it rolled out regardless do it. They were horrible and I am going to complain everywhere. Despicable work ethics and the movers were even chatting on the phone picking up other jobs while I literally moved everything with them. Literally worst experience ever.
Askymoves guys is perfect! – William and Nik did all day job for us . They did wonderful job. Askymoves price is value. Askymoves guys is perfect ! All day raining they finished my moving end the day . I will pass Askymoves to my friends.
Excellent service – Moved my house and were fast and efficient. They took great care of my furniture and belongings. They arrived on time and were both very polite and could not do enough to help
Good service – Two guys moved our house contents from a storage unit to our house new house 45 minutes away from the storage unit. They were happy helpful and hard working. They even helped my partner carry something inside that wasn't part of the delivery load. Highly recommend.
Great job totally recommend – I used John and Yang these two guys, they are really fast and adept. I thought moving all my belongings would take much longer as I had too much staff and moving them to the truck from my apartment room would be many trips. using a big trolley only for two rounds, no wasting of time at all, and they knew to be cautious when moving some certain fragile staff, very professional. Along the way to my new address sitting in the truck as I don't have a car, I quite enjoyed talking with these two easy going guys. The whole experience made the house moving seemed much easier and saved me lots of efforts, would 100% recommend them.
Don’t deserve one star – They charge by the hour so the two guys did everything they could to stretch out the time. My friend and I did most of the work while the two guys smoked-a lot. They broke furniture. When I called the office the next day they took my phone number and never answered the phone to me again. Expensive and very shoddy. Never use them
