bbq were too heavy and they would need to get a third person and would be back at 10. They didn’t return calls asking if they were in their way but an office staff member than said place was dirty and there was cat fur?? Yes there were boxes around ready to go. DO TRUST THESE RAJS. And he had to wait for deposit to be returned!

The removalists where 7.5 hours late. Even though a reserved a car spot of them with me own car the threatened me on the phone saying i take responsibility for parking and has to be 50 meters away from my door or they will take my deposit and not help me even though at that point i had been waiting 6 hours at that point even though i send photo… Read more ·  2

I have 7 items to move 6 minutes down the road and they took 3 hours, slowest removalists i caught one walking up the stairs slowly on his phone, and standing by the van drinking his can of coke. they took there sweet time and i already taped the washing machine and fridge they only had to load everything onto the van.

There was no financial compensation for wasting a full day and being 7.5 hours late.

The movers were reliable, polite and efficient. They arrived on time and their price was competitive. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. The move was over quite a long distance and it esd completed within a reasonable time. Show reply

I was quoted $700 to $800 for this short distance job using one 5 Tonne plus truck --at one hour before the move was due was told by CBD administration that my ordered truck was not available and that they were sending a smaller truck(the larger one they offered would not fit in the driveway}--as a result two trips had to be made instead of using… Read more

the one truck quoted --this resulted in my final bill coming to almost $1200. The truck driver and his assistant however were excellent --apart from demanding I pay the bill before the truck left, and would not leave the premises until about an hour later--after much discussion with their administration people they finally left and I was sent an invoice which I paid the same day The communication and admistration of this organisation leaves a lot to be desired and some of the persons handling the communication can barely speak english--dont bother its to hard---moving is stressful enough as it is. P.S My overcharging complaint(on the companys own complaints form) has fallen on deaf ears. however I was finally offered a $50 compensation voucher to be used in my next move with CBD (in your dreams)

mechanical issues with the truck the move was put back to somewhere between 2pm & 6pm. The storage facility does not permit anyone to be on-site after 630pm. I explained to the call taker that a 6pm move would be too late. I was told there was nothing they could do about it. They could reschedule the move to another day. This did not suit my plans. I felt as if he was only giving me lip service with plenty of Sorry Mam but no other resolution. CBD Removal pride them self on getting the job done on time. I am afraid this did not happen. Now I have to pay for another week of storage. If they were unable to do the job just say so and I would have gone with another company. CBD Removal came highly recommended but I disagree totally.

One star simply because they just changed my booking time for moving from afternoon to morning ONE DAY PRIOR to the move! I'm editing this review to add that CBD Movers have kept my $100 as I cancelled my booking with them (due to the sudden unexpected change to my moving time one day before) as I cancelled within 24 hours. so close to moving date did not leave me much time to make alternate arrangements and when I did it fell within the 24-hour period. So I encourage anyone reading my review to be aware of this as CBD Movers are not reliable when asking for your commitment with a $100 deposit.

Edit to add that CBD Movers have provided a refund of the $100 deposit fee.
